Chapter 1302 Unleashing Will Chains

The cracking sound that erupted across the realm as Rowan's left fist slammed against the titan's face was so loud that across realities, at different dimensions and alien locations, the sound reverberated, alongside what could be perceived as a scream.

As a living dimension, Rowan had certain connections with all dimensions in existence, it was one reason he could easily fool the realm's will, and in situations like these when he went all out, certain reverberations from him could be transferred to those dimensions.

Rowan barely paused as his perception swept through the body of the titan frozen by the Will Chains and bombarded by a billion spells who had suffered catastrophic injuries on parts of its body.

Despite this impressive damage, Rowan frowned internally, the combination of all these spells was a result of Knowledge Well endlessly working on simulating the best path for his offensive spell-castings, even though this could wipe out any opposition in the same level as him, his opponents had never been weak.

The spells Rowan used were not minor spells and each and every one of them would be regarded as a Taboo Spell by the Magus society.

In addition to this, every spell was linked harmoniously so that the effect of combining all of them would increase their lethality, and when all of this was fueled not just with his powerful Aether, but another crystal of Aetherium that Rowan had refined from this realm, even the body of the titan, an immortal that had reached the eighth dimension, suffered.

The Eye of Time was plenty dangerous on its own, what made even more terrible was if it could possess a body, then it would be able to express more of its powers through that shell. Although Rowan knew that the main portion of the Eye of Time was in the halberd, hurting the body of the titan was the best way he could deprive the Eye of Time of its strength and because the Eye of Time had spread parts of itself into the body of the titan, those parts could now be easily destroyed.

Rowan's Reflection had been too weak to hurt the Eye of Time, even when it was wearing a lesser shell, which was a wasted opportunity since it was rare to find the Eye in that state of relative vulnerability, his main body however, would not let go of any opportunity presented to hurt the Eye.

There was no reason to bring the Eye into this scenario with the ninth Reflection, especially when he would be unveiling the greatest prize that the Eye had been craving from the beginning, but Rowan wanted to excavate the mysteries of this creature, and finally have his revenge against the real hand behind the Reflection.

At this point in his life, Rowan did not care much about revenge when the allure of the knowledge he could gain from the mind of the Eye was far greater.

To kill the Eye of Time, Rowan was prepared to take great risks, it was the only way he knew that a fragment of a Primordial would fall.

Frozen by the Will chains and Gothran'Inul's lack of desire to defend his body, multiple heads of the titan exploded as its entire body transformed into a green jade under the combination of Rowan's most powerful petrification spells, which was the final portion of his spell combination assault.

However, the areas enveloped by his spell damage were slowly being purged from the flesh of Gothran'Inul. It was commendable that he could hurt the titan to such an extent, but if he wanted to have any hope of continuing in this fight, these spells were not the answer. As the Eye of Time did with the lightning blades, these spells were simply the vehicle for Rowan to unleash his true weapon in this fight, Will Chains.

The areas that were damaged were quickly filled up with Will Chains as Rowan blasted more of it from his destroyer.

His spell blast had pushed the body of the titan back as the cries of rage from the halberd were choked under the influence of the increasing Will Chains that Rowan was pouring into the body of the titan, pushing it back for thousands of miles, as each chain slammed into the body of the titan with galactic crushing force.

"Clank... Clank... Boom!"

The Will Chains connecting the blades to the flesh of the titan tightened with a frightening sound after the titan had been pushed back for nearly a million miles, and Rowan pulled on it again sending the body of the titan flying towards him, and this time he angled his destroyer so it was facing the closing body of the titan with its point.

Although Gothran'Inul was five times bigger than him, and his mass could not even be easily calculated, Rowan's strength attributes under the influence of limited bursts of Ascension meant he could still toss around this titan as if it weighed nothing.

The body of the titan slammed into the blade, there was some resistance but its flesh parted under the sharpness of the destroyer and Rowan impaled the titan with the greatsword. Pale blue blood burst out of the body of the titan, and Rowan was bathed under it, the telekinetic barrier over his body however kept him clean, and the blood of the titan simply flowed down his body without leaving any traces.

Rowan brought his mouth to one of the ears of the titan, aware that the Eye of Time could hear him,

"I shall bathe this realm in your blood and screams before you die, you shall know the fear of being mortal."

At this time, Rowan had barely unleashed a fraction of the Will Chains contained by the Destroyer not because he was holding back, but because he was too weak to do so. It was always a rare and interesting thing for Rowan when he found certain things difficult for him to instantly accomplish.

Rowan had been able to gather all the Will Chains on Doom Star not because he had been strong enough to do so, but because these Will Chains needed a place to reside after Rowan cleared the infinity bubble of its stream of time.

The Will Chains inside of Doom Star were nearly infinite, some of them having strength that equated to the fourth, fifth, sixth, and even seventh dimension, and unless Rowan could reach those ranks, he would not be able to wield the Will Chains that were above the fourth-dimensional rank.

It was a good thing though that despite being able to wield only the chains at the fourth-dimensional rank, their very nature could deeply suppress the power of Time as that was the entire reason for their creation.

Stabbing the destroyer into the body of the titan, Rowan braced himself for a moment to focus his thoughts.

With the bulk of Gothran'Inul, his greatsword had penetrated his entire body, with the tip of the blade barely breaking past the skin on the back of the titan. Wielding the Will Chains was not just dependent on the physical strength of his body, Aether, but on his soul. He needed all three of these to properly wield Will Chains, however, the soul was paramount in this process for it carried the heaviest load. His dimensional soul was powerful enough to carry this load, but the weight was incredibly enormous, so much so that except for fighting the Eye of Time, Rowan would not wish to wield this power against any other enemies when he had options. In the previous skirmish, Rowan had barely sent over a hundred thousand Will Chains into the flesh of the titan but enormous pain had enshrouded his soul as they strained underneath that burden, however, he had a dimensional soul, and like his flesh, unless it was destroyed instantly, he could push it past its breaking point.

Rowan took in a deep breath and from the Destroyer, he seized one percent of the Will Chains at the fourth dimensional rank, and then he unleashed them from the blade into the body of the titan.

The sound of all the chains bursting out of the destroyer and tearing through the body of the titan was catastrophic, and like a basket filled with countless holes, the body of the titan burst open, with a flood of its pale blue blood bathing the earth for countless millions of miles.

In that instant 3.7 billion Will Chains at the fourth rank flooded throughout the entirety of the titan's body, Rowan froze for a second, then he twisted the blade and pulled.
