Chapter 210: Sanctuary Development
Chapter 210: Sanctuary Development
Soon his appearance began to undertake qualitative change. He became 3m tall with hard rough skin, his bicep enlarged, his palm bigger, and sharp claws that were as strong as steel, and more than that there was a shimmering force on them.
Now as he tore the monster with them, he caused some injury that refused to close. The monster took in air and inflate and blast it at him. That made them create some distance.
A sharp bone-like structure began to protrude from the monster's body, its leg became like a hyena, its arms like an eagle claw, and its mouth and face like a ferocious wolf. And its main body became more humanoid and it stood on two legs.
That happened fast and it lunged at Fist, the battle was brutal, many times Fist's head was almost bitten off or his heart punctured with sharp bone spikes but his crocodile hide saved him when he concentrated on it there.
Ten minutes into the fight, Fist gained one more transformation and he ripped the Gawee Monster into two, he roared with insanity but seeing the flesh was moving, he dashed and snatched the vial and the core.
The monster still reformed and reattached with no core in it, but Fist claw grew, coated with force and he slashed with all his remaining power. The monster was dismembered into three parts and it stopped moving.
"Yeeees. I won!" He shouted in a bestial voice.
Clap!
Clap!
Clap!
"That was magnificent. Ahm, can I have the core!" Seth said as he eyed his prize. There was no hesitation, Fist threw the two-fist size red cores at Seth.
"Aha, finally,!" Seth held it as he felt the emotion and life of the Gawee Monster. It was fast to onlookers but to him, it took a bit long.
3.4m tall, large and strong arm, firm and robust leg, tough but clean light brown chest with chiselled abs. Dark short brown fur with an extremely hard hide covered Fist body. His spinal cord was more pronounced and they showcase a full crocodile back hide with no fur, that was also the case at the back of his hand. His knee and elbow have a reinforced protruded moulded hide.
His face though, except for the furry ears and sharp fangs, was human. Fist looked extremely menacing and dangerous.
As he stood looking at the notification, no one knew if he was taken over by the bloodline insanity power or if he was himself.
"This is beyond expectation!" He praised in a deep voice, he looked at Seth, who was also fiddling with a rough red core with a smile and said, "Where the hell did you get this!"
"Dragon loves hunting!" Seth mumbled vaguely, "I need to test something," saying that he went into the cave. The players stared at the now not worried Fist as he poked with the vial.
Those that know him personally, knew that excessive use of his blood will result in reduced sanity and then aggressiveness. But now not only did he achieve the equilibrium of his two bloodlines, but he was awake and can think straight.
"Ahm, Fist, is that you!" James called out. The humanoid bloodliner looked at them puzzled. "What's wrong? I'm fine!" Fist said before realization hit him and his eyes wide open, he was still in his beast form.
"Hahaha, 100% equilibrium!" he burst into a peal of laughter that sent sound waves around him.
Inside the cave Seth looked at many cracks due to the battle, he went deeper and stood at the centre, he held the Script Marker and called out, "Vela Aspecto!" And he activated his Aura.
The aura sipped into the Marker and then spread to the walls. Immediately, pressure began to reduce and some inscriptions began to appear. He smiled and pushed the pin part of the Marker onto the ground.
It was solid but many cracks gave room for that. Immediately, Seth felt his aura reduced to almost zero but as the players entered at that moment, their aura was also used.
The inscriptions were fully activated. Experience new tales on m v|l e'm,p| y- r
[Congratulations, you have to revive Vela's Sanctuary]

The Marker has levelled up again. The place's air became sweet and calming. Strangely, the empty little pool became wet. Seth touched it and understood that maybe deep down was an aquifer of water. But he doubted that as the continent lacks water, perhaps this place was just special enough that it can accumulate water on its own.
"So, you are a dragon hunter?" Zambia asked from behind him.
Seth brought out a Soothing Guard, made it float above the pool and then activated its watering ability.
"Dragon Hunter? Hell no." Seth said, as he brought out a piece of his elevated sword and dug beside the pool. Deeper was a soft soil, whether it was good for what he wanted to do, he had no idea.
He brought some seeds after he wet the place and planted them.
"Did you kill Temra, Blast and the dragon that owned this place?" Rena was the one asking now. "We are not antagonizing you, hunting is part of playing, you know!"
"Haha!" Seth chuckled as he watched water shower from his Soothing Guard on the soil he seeded that kept drying. "Have you ever heard of the dragon curse? I believe it exists. The best way to be cursed was to kill a dragon, did I look like a cursed one!"
"Yes!" Zero said with no doubt.
"Realy?" Seth asked as he looked up.
"Yeah, I don't feel comfortable around you and I'm a dragon!" Zero added.
"Fake dragon!" Seth dismissed the kid's complaint. He then brought a white powder and smeared it on the wet soil.
"What is that?" Juma asked quickly, she felt something off about it, like a desire to have it.
"Secret ingredients!" Seth teased but looking down he saw a sprout.
[Congratulations, you have improved Vela's Sanctuary]
[Script Marker: Level: 2>3]
"That was unexpected!" Seth blurted out in surprise.
"The dragon is here!" Mansa came running. The atmosphere became gloomy, as they walked to the cave entrance. It was the red fire dragon.
"We shall not allow it to see us!" Juma said.
"We shall run!" The dragon likes it when we are afraid and they leave us alone!" Rena said.
"Zambia, it's your call. Decide fast!" Fist, still in his beat mode said with a booming voice.
The leader of the Hourglass group looked at Seth and stared at the sky while hiding, "what do you think?"
"I don't know!" Seth was not sure, what if they needed to be outside for the Dragon to fuel the sanctuary?
In the end, they decided to stay, as long as the dragon will not use the notorious Dragon Breath, they can be fine. And yes, the dragon swooped down with a torrent of fire toward the cave.
Some of the players vanished, but Seth and the rest jumped back. Seth's eyes were active as he looked at the inscriptions. Immediately, they glowed blindly and the pressure was reduced to zero. The walls became harder and the cracks healed. A halo enveloped the seedling while its surroundings became conducive to its development.
Soon, they have saturated with energy and the dragon flew away, leaving a standard sanctuary that provided all the required protection.
