Chapter 113
Chapter 113
113 Jersey Saint Hospital I
Once everyone had understood the plans, they went to make their own preparation.
The sun had risen by the time everyone was done and without any more time-wasting, they all headed out of the campus.
“Here we go.”
Standing in front of the hospital were Aiden and Camille. Both of them were wearing a light blue scrub top and trousers, of which were worn by Jersey saint hospital staff.
After heaving a deep breath, Aiden and Camille walked into the hospital.
It was well known that the building of a hospital is one of the complex types, having composed of a wide range of service and functional units. And a few seconds after Aiden and Camille walked into the hospital, Aiden’s voice rang out.
“We are in.”
It wasn’t up to a second after Aiden spoke, and a voice sounded from the piece that he had behind his scrub top.
“I know,” Naomi responded. “You’re currently on the first floor of the hospital, whereas the seventh floor is where you should be.
.....
“Find an elevator or a staircase perhaps that will lead you to the seventh floor, and hurry up. We won’t be able to move to the next phase of the plan if you fail to accomplish this.”
As Naomi spoke, Aiden and Camille began walking into the hospital. With the uniforms, they were wearing, they weren’t suspected by the guards that were at the side of the door, and they moved in freely.
“According to the hospital layout we saw, the elevator is close to the workstation, and the staircase is behind the pharmacy block,” Camille muttered as she strolled into the hospital.
As one of the best and most renowned public hospitals in the city, Jersey saint was packed with a lot of people. They were several individuals moving in and out of the hospital, with each of them having different expressions on their faces.
When Aiden heard Camille, he didn’t even think twice about it, and he said, “The elevator is where we should head to.”
“The hospital is quite huge you know, who knows when we are going to get to the seventh floor if we take the staircase.”
Even if Aiden hadn’t spoken, it would have been very ridiculous if both of them were to go through the staircase when the elevator existed.
With the scrubs and the demeanor that both of them had on, as they walked inside the hospital, neither Aiden nor Camille faced any problem along the way.
And even the staff who encountered them gave them a slight nod.
A few minutes after Aiden and Camille moved from the waiting room, they soon arrived at the workstation, and as they saw the elevator, nearby, both of them kept a neutral expression and walked towards it.
Aiden had just pressed the elevator button when someone appeared behind him.
He stared at Camille who also stared back at him, and as the elevator door opened, the both of them walked in the elevator, along with the man that was behind them.
“I’m doctor fade, and you must be...” A few seconds after the three of them entered the elevator, the man’s voice rang out.
“I’m doctor Sodent and this is doctor Penelope,” Aiden responded. And as if he knew the man was going to ask another question, he spoke.
“We are the new intern.”
With Naomi’s research about the hospital, she had learned about the interns that were going to be registering in the hospital, and the identity that Aiden and Camille used belonged to one of the interns.
The man nodded his head when he heard Aiden, “Which department are the both of you from?” He inquired.
“Hematology department,” Camille responded.
Another nod came from the man after Camille spoke. He turned towards Aiden and Camille and said, “Do the both of you know me?” He asked.
Aiden and Camille glanced at one another when they heard the man’s question, and after a few seconds, Aiden shook his head several times.
“This is our first day in the hospital, I’m sorry, but we don’t have any idea of who you are.” Aiden blurted.
“Oh really,” The man’s mouth opened slightly. “I’m the one in charge of this year’s intern, and I certainly haven’t seen any of you in the meeting I hosted.” He said.
“It best you tell me who you’re before I call the guards on you.”
As the man spoke, he brought a cell phone from his pocket and began to dial a number on it. However, he had only just pressed the second button on his phone when he was hit in the head.
The man fell unconscious soon after, and as he went down on the floor, Camille raised an eyebrow at Aiden.
Aiden shrugged his shoulder when he saw the look on Camille’s face. “He was going to call the guard on us, I think that was the right thing to do,” Aiden said with reassurance in his voice.
Camille, however, shook her head. She then pointed her hand forward, and as Aiden moved his gaze to where Camille was pointing at, his mouth opened wide.
“Oh, oh... This is bad.” Aiden mumbled.
This time around, Camille nodded her head. “Naomi, we may have a problem over here.” She said.
“What is it?”
A second after Camille spoke, and a voice came out from the speaker she had on.
Camille quickly explained the whole situation to Naomi, and a response came from Naomi soon after.
“I will handle it from here, the both of should hurry up, you need to get to the seventh floor before the board meeting is over.”
Aiden scratched his head after Naomi spoke. He stared at the body that was on the floor before staring at Camille and then flashing her a rough smile.
Meanwhile, the instant Naomi got the message from Camille, she began walking on it.
“Bane, how is it going.”
Inside the hospital waiting room, Bane sat with his leg placed on the other, and a smile hung on his face.
He was wearing a black blazer, blue top, and brown jeans. And when he heard Naomi’s voice, the smile that was on his face widened.
“I will be done in a few minutes,” Bane responded.
As Bane sat in one of the waiting rooms, he sent his insects towards the room that was a few meters away from him.
About a hundred, perhaps even thousands of insects walked their way to the security room. The insects moved so sneakily that there were able to avoid all detection, and with Bane’s guidance, they were able to make their way to the room.
In front of the insects were two men sitting with their leg on the table, their hands holding on to a popcorn bucket and their eyes were glued to the screen in front of them.
Both of them were middle-aged men and were wearing their guard uniforms.
“Hold on, what is that?” One of the guards suddenly said, and then sat properly quickly.
The guard placed his hand on the mouse and zoomed in. It was inside of the elevator that was shown and Aiden, Camille, and the man on the floor were apparent.
As soon as the second guard saw that screen, he immediately grabbed the mic and was about to speak when something crawled into his trouser.
The guard’s body trembled violently, he began to shake his legs, and as he did, an intense pain course through his body. Followed by that excruciating pain was an insect appearing from his clothes.
“Aaargghhhhh!!!!”
As the guard saw the insect, he let out a loud scream. Fear swept all over his body, and before he could even get a grip of himself, he felt his flesh bitten.
He shifted his gaze to his partner, and as he laid eyes on him, he lowered his head. Seeing, all sorts of insects covering his partner’s body from head to toe, the man realized that he was even in much more better shape.
Thud!
It wasn’t however up to five seconds after he saw insects coming towards him. The guard was about to let out a scream when an insect slipped through his mouth, and within seconds, his vocal cord was destroyed.
The insects soon gathered all over his body, and before he could even realize what was going on, he stumbled to the floor.
It was only after he was on the floor that the insect left his body. The guard’s eyes were wide open, staring at his partner that was beside him, it was however unknown whether he was alive or not.
“We have taken over the security room.” Once the two guards were down, Bane’s voice rang out.
As he received a response from Naomi, he placed the magazine he was reading aside and stood from his seat. With a neutral expression than on his face, he walked out of the waiting room.
“Naomi, I’m afraid we have another problem.”
“The board meeting is over!”
