Chapter 664: Chapter 664 - When Two Champions Collide with Death

?

The ground shook violently, a deafening quake that cracked the desert. Massive chunks of earth rose into the air, creating a chaotic battlefield of floating, crumbling platforms. Massive boulders rained down, crashing into the ground with earth-shattering explosions, sending plumes of sand and debris flying into the sky.

The battlefield was completely consumed by the chaos-layer upon layer of destruction, so dense that it became impossible to see what was happening in the heart of it all. The air itself seemed thick with sand and energy, leaving the outcome shrouded in uncertainty.

"This fight is insane," Forev muttered.

"Ch, if only we could do something to at least help," RememberMe said.

"No way!" Forev snapped back, shaking her head. "Even getting close would be suicide. Just one hit from those elite skeletons, and we'd be dead instantly."

Freya sighed. "This Necromancer is a real cockroach... rumor has it he's never died in this game. Not even once."

Pussycat chimed in. "But this fight is a nightmare. Even with Broken and Frostedge working together, it's not getting any easier."

Freya nodded. "More like, none of them can actually kill each other. It's just a matter of dragging this fight out as long as possible."

"Ch," RememberMe growled, clenching his fists. "This little piece of shit is really pissing me off."

The Shield Skeleton was down! At least that was some good news for Broken-the relentless barrage from his last attack had finally paid off.

One less obstacle stood in their way.

If they could just push harder, they might finally turn the tide.

While the remaining elite skeletons were still recovering, their reassembly rapid but not instant, Frostedge seized the moment. He darted toward Galactron, his intent clear-the Necromancer was the linchpin of this battle, and eliminating him was the key to victory.

Broken followed, sprinting after Frostedge to back him up.

But Galactron wasn't about to let them get close. The remaining elite skeletons completed their recovery faster than expected. Almost instantly, a barrage of arrows and magic missiles launched toward Frostedge, forcing him to veer sharply to avoid the cascading explosions that followed.

The chase toward Galactron was cut short.

A fresh round of combat began, but this time, the Greatsword Skeleton was focused on Frostedge. It charged after him with relentless precision, its heavy blade slicing through the air with brutal force.

It was clear-Galactron had shifted his strategy.

Instead of splitting attention between the two fighters, the Necromancer directed the bulk of his assault toward Frostedge. Physical attack after physical attack rained down on him,

forcing the magic sword fighter into a defensive strategy.

Unlike Broken, Frostedge wasn't built for enduring prolonged physical combat. His Intelligence-based build made him an exceptional offensive player and a master of crowd control, but his durability was far lower than Broken's Strength-based resilience.

Frostedge can't take too many direct hits!

Even with his skill and agility, Frostedge was clearly being pushed to his limits, forced to dodge and counter as the Greatsword Skeleton pressed its advantage.

Broken would have to act quickly if they were to stop the momentum Galactron was building.

The battle raged on, each side unleashing brutal skills and devastating attacks. The clash showed no signs of ending anytime soon, with Broken and Frostedge locked in their desperate struggle against Galactron and his relentless summons.

Meanwhile, RememberMe and the others stayed at a safe distance, observing the chaos

unfold. They could only watch, powerless to intervene.

"Looks like I need to get serious about leveling up and strengthening myself," RememberMe muttered.

"Yeah, you rich players should actually become strong for once," Freya quipped with a smirk. "So you can join in during moments like this."

Pussycat chuckled softly. "I never thought the day would come where RememberMe had to take this game seriously."

"Damn it!" RememberMe exclaimed. "I think I need to aim for Divine Champion status too!"

Forev, without even glancing at him, delivered a dry response: "Go hunt down those Divine Champions and steal their blessings."

RememberMe groaned. "Why does that actually sound tempting?"

The battle reached its most intense and jaw-dropping phase yet.

The Elite Summons-massive, terrifying, and relentless-were finally defeated!

It was an exhausting, hard-won victory that left everyone watching in awe.

Now, the path was clear: Broken and Frostedge had to take down Galactron, once and for all. From a distance, Galactron stood unmoved, his flat expression giving way to a slight chuckle. With a calm lift of his hands, dozens-no, hundreds of magic circles appeared across the battlefield. From them emerged an uncountable horde of skeletal warriors, immediately charging toward the two fighters like an unstoppable wave of death.

Frostedge didn't hesitate. He skated across the battlefield, his every motion fluid and precise. Spikes of ice erupted in his wake, spearing the skeletal warriors as they advanced. Dozens fell with every second, but the endless swarm kept coming.

Amidst the chaos, Frostedge's movement seemed to signal something to Broken. The floating ice platforms that he conjured in the air appeared almost intentionally placed, and Broken quickly understood the assignment.

Summoning his Moonvine Knuckles, Broken swung forward, launching vines that wrapped tightly around the floating chunks of ice. Using them as grapple points, he propelled himself into the air with incredible speed, rapidly closing the gap between himself and Galactron.

Below, Frostedge continued his relentless assault, spinning and slashing as ice crescent waves radiated from his sword. Each wave cut through the swarm of skeletal warriors, freezing and shattering dozens at a time.

Even as the skeletal army charged from every direction, Frostedge didn't falter, his ice element control turning the battlefield into a frozen graveyard.

Above, Broken swung from one ice platform to another, gaining momentum with each leap.

The skeletal archers and mages targeted Broken relentlessly, arrows and spells flying through the air in a desperate attempt to halt his advance. He deflected what he could, but the hail of projectiles made every swing a dangerous gamble.

As Broken closed in, Galactron floated further away, his grimoire glowing brighter as it continued summoning reinforcements. The endless tide of skeletons, archers, and mages grew thicker, their combined attacks creating a near-impossible barrier to break through.

The battlefield was pure chaos. Frostedge and Broken were pushing their limits, but Galactron's strategy of overwhelming numbers was beginning to take its toll. Still, neither fighter showed any signs of giving up.

This was their moment-and they weren't going to waste it!

Frostedge pushed himself harder, skating through waves of skeletal warriors. Every slash of his blade sent out crescent-shaped waves of ice energy, shattering skeletons in his path. He forced his way closer and closer to Galactron, ignoring the relentless swarm trying to slow

him down.

At the same time, Broken launched himself with incredible speed, swinging from the floating ice platforms. He used the last one to propel himself past Galactron, landing on the opposite side of the battlefield. Without missing a beat, Broken summoned his Wavebreaker Spear, gripping it tightly as he prepared to strike.

From opposite directions, Broken and Frostedge charged at Galactron in perfect

synchronization.

The Necromancer, floating at the center of the chaos, seemed momentarily trapped. Rushing hordes of skeletal warriors surrounded them, but the two fighters were undeterred, their

focus locked solely on their target.

Frostedge's icy trail gleamed behind him as he closed the distance. On the other side, Broken's spear crackled with water element, its sharp tip pointed directly at Galactron. They both leaped simultaneously, their weapons ready to deliver a decisive, final blow. Everyone watching the battle, both on the ground and through the Vensalor Guild Official Channel, leaned forward in anticipation. Breath caught in their throats.

This was it. This had to work!

"Galactron is cornered! He has to die!" RememberMe exclaimed.

Forev nodded, sharing the sentiment.

But Freya shook her head slowly. "I wish for the same," she said.

The tension was unbearable. Would this be the end of Galactron, or did the Necromancer have

another trick up his sleeve?

(Author's Note:)

I put everything into making this battle as impactful and efficient as possible, but scenes like

this one are absolutely essential.

When facing an opponent like Galactron-a powerhouse Necromancer with seemingly endless reinforcements-you can't expect a quick or simple fight.

This clash had to showcase the grit, strategy, and sheer determination of Broken and Frostedge as they pushed themselves to their limits.

Thank you for reading and for sticking with me through these intense and chaotic battles!
