?
What was Frostedge doing here? He mentioned heading to the capital earlier.
Of course everyone knew something monumental was happening in the capital. A massive war was underway, and someone like Frostedge wouldn't want to miss a rare moment like this.
Fighting any demons there would undoubtedly yield significant experience points, and contributing to the takedown of a Named Demon could mean unparalleled rewards.
For now, the battlefield was clear of skeleton warriors, all of them frozen and shattered by Frostedge's earlier display of power. However, Galactron still stood at a distance, his expression flat and unbothered.
A sudden agreement had been made-Frostedge would assist Broken in defeating Galactron in exchange for a ride to the capital.
Not a bad deal, all things considered.
But Galactron wasn't fazed. His grimoire spun faster now, emanating green-and-black energy.
Broken's eyes narrowed-he recognized this pattern. Galactron was preparing another summon.
Surely, he's not out of summons already. No way he'd run dry against two Divine Champions, right? For an instant, the scene might've looked like two adults bullying a teenage boy. But in this game, appearances were deceiving. Galactron wasn't just a child-he was a Necromancer with overwhelming power. A divine champion, and also a Unique-grade class holder.
Broken and Frostedge both knew that fighting him alone would be a monumental challenge, even if it seemed unfair on the surface.
Suddenly, magic circles began forming around Galactron, their glow intensifying as the energy built. Broken and Frostedge exchanged a glance, their shared intent clear-they needed to stop him before he could summon anything.
They moved as one, both rushing toward Galactron with speed and precision.
But the Necromancer proved himself again to be exceptionally agile. Despite floating mere inches off the ground, he moved with uncanny speed, weaving between their attacks. Frostedge slashed his sword, sending a spike of ice erupting from the ground, racing toward Galactron.
But the boy deftly dodged, his movements fluid and deliberate.
Meanwhile, the five magic circles that floated near him pulsed brighter.
And then, from each circle, a figure emerged.
The summons were different this time-taller, larger, and more imposing than the skeleton warriors from earlier. Each of them was clad in shadow-infused armor.
One carried a massive greatsword.
Another bore a tower shield and a longsword.
A third wielded a bow, shadowy tendrils coiling around its arrows.
The fourth hefted a colossal battle axe.
The fifth carried a magic staff, green flames flickering at its tip as it floated slightly above the ground.
Broken and Frostedge skidded to a stop, their pursuit halted as five elite skeleton summons stepped into their path, forming an impenetrable line between them and Galactron.
The skeletons were no ordinary foes. Each one carried a different weapon and seemed to fill a specific role. Their hollow eyes glowed with a cold light, and their presence was oppressive, like an unspoken challenge.
Broken quickly assessed the situation, his gaze flicking over their forms as he checked their levels. Over 210, on average.
He clenched his jaw. Damn it.
This Galactron wasn't holding back-summoning five high-level elite summons was no small feat. It was clear he intended to make this battle as grueling as possible.
"Galactron... is this all you've got?" Broken called out.
Galactron smirked. "Well, hah! Why would I reveal my strategy to the likes of you?"
The air grew heavier as the skeletons advanced.
Broken muttered under his breath. "Well, he's definitely confident in his strategy. But
seriously, these five are going to be a problem."
"Broken, how do we split these guys up?" Frostedge asked.
Broken shrugged. "I don't mind if you take three of them."
Frostedge chuckled, shaking his head. "Ah, no thanks. I'm not that eager to die."
"Which ones do you handle best?"
"The archer and the mage," Frostedge replied. "But..." he added, "the other three look tough to pin down."
Broken nodded. "This fight's going to be hell if the mage and archer aren't dealt with first. They'll pick us apart if they're left alone."
"I agree," Frostedge replied.
"I'll hold the other three-keep them busy-while you take out the two long-range ones."
"Sounds like a solid plan," Frostedge said with a faint smirk.
Broken's gaze shifted to Galactron, who stood behind his summons.
"If possible, kill the summoner too."
Frostedge gave a small bow, before raising his sword. "Understood."
Both fighters prepared themselves, the tension in the air heavy as they got ready to engage.
Frostedge's body suddenly glowed with a mix of white and icy blue energy. With a graceful motion, a layer of ice formed beneath his feet, propelling him forward as though he were skating across the desert floor.
The Elite Skeletons turned their attention toward him, but Frostedge raised his sword high into the air. The blade shimmered as sharp spikes of ice materialized around him, shooting forward with incredible speed.
The frozen projectiles hurtled toward the two long-range attackers-the skeleton archer and mage standing at the back of the formation.
Meanwhile, Broken readied himself, gripping his spear tightly as he prepared to take on the remaining three skeleton warriors.
From the distance, a carriage appeared, its wheels kicking up dust as it approached the battlefield. The carriage came to a stop, and four figures leapt out-Freya, RememberMe, PussyCat, and Forev.
Forev immediately summoned her spirit hawk, sending it soaring into the sky. Its glowing form hovered high above, capturing the scene below. With its help, Forev began recording the battle, streaming the action directly to the Vensalor Guild Official Channel.
"Hahaha, I'm betting this fight will rake in views to rival the battle at the capital,"
RememberMe said.
Freya smirked. "Frostedge has a massive fanbase, especially among players from his country. And as for Galactron... sure, he has the whole villain vibe, but you can't deny the kid's brilliance. He's earned respect even from his enemies."
"What about Broken?" PussyCat asked with a giggle.
Forev responded. "Broken's popularity has been skyrocketing lately. But many people still can't wrap their heads around it. They're too shocked to believe someone as 'ordinary' as him
could rise to the top like this."
"Hah!" RememberMe snorted. "Let reality smack them in the face!"
A few moments later, RememberMe spoke up. "Do you think there's anything else we can do
to help them, besides, you know... recording them from a distance?"
Forev sighed. "Yes, you can shut up so my ears don't hurt listening to you."
"Hahaha!" RememberMe burst out laughing.
As soon as the live video of the battle hit the Vensalor Guild Official Channel, the view count skyrocketed. Comments flooded in almost instantly.
