This story just makes me sigh. SpoilerJulia is a very pitiful woman. This woman who has suffered in the hands of abusive father and stepmother with no one to love her do so long, gets married to the one person she liked hoping for love but is treated badly because of her father. Fernan emotionally abuses her until she loses all hope for happiness and decides to leave him only for him to turn terribly possessive. This man who so far had ignored suddenly refused to let go of her and she was basically imprisoned in her home. Here are some scenes showing what he said:“Even if it's the same hell, you might start to wish you were by my side."It was obvious what he wanted from her. He wanted her to live as the obedient Grand Duchess like she had been.To live on the apparent great public expense as before. Even if she was hated and treated coldly, even if this was hell, just be quiet and stay by his side.I believe there is something fundamentally wrong with this story. The relationship that came about after Fernan rescued Julia from the demons, gave me a feeling of Stockholm syndrome. He claimed he was sorry for all he had done but refused to let her have freedom. He claimed he would do whatever she wanted but he still kept her in bondage. That is not love in my opinion. She was only just recovering from her wounded heart and he appeared again (even though it was to help her), restraining her claiming love. He claimed he loved her but had to threaten to kill her friend to get her to give up on her escape. And then he sleeps with her immediately after that whispering love and whatnot. Although he wasn't aggressive, I think that already borders on rape because she had already lost any will to resist his will. Love is never forceful so this is plain obsession. The story later explains the reason for Fernan's treatment of Julia but it is still unjustified. I honestly feel Julia could've been happy without Fernan and I wished she could've been but I guess love doesn't always make sense. I can only imagine how much she originally liked him to deal with all that he did and to later forgive him.Only very few people truly cared about Julia in this story: Matheus, Melissa, Cedric and Gabrielle with the children. Majority of the other people were pieces of trash that should all go fall off a cliffTruly a tragic story

Don’t know why this one is so poorly rated. Cliches and general Chinese style writing are present. The occasional piece of thinly veiled racism are also present. That being said, it’s still comparatively, much better than the majority of crap that’s getting translated now. It’s nowhere near LotM level, but vanishingly few Chinese web novels are.
The premise to the story is interesting and the writing is decent. The main character is quite smart and so far has overcome most problems with his intelligence and split second cunning. I'm at chapter 75 and so far its pretty good.

I got 16 chapters in and I can't stand it anymore. There's nothing overly bad about the writing or anything but it has a cliche that drives me up the wall. It's where something happens like for example the main character gaining a power-up of sorts and the author feels a need to demonstrate that chance instantly so they write up the most ridiculous concept for an event that feels incredibly forced and unrealistic. I'll post the specific thing below in a spoiler.Chap 16. SpoilerMc decides to buy a gun and finds out It needs supernatural blood to "awaken" so he buys it. On his way back to his house, a monster dog attacks him (middle of the city btw) and makes him drop his own blood on the gun and use it to kill the dog.

Seeing your comment, I was wondering, do Chinese readers really like this weird political subplot, tucked into a large chunk of the novels they read, which sometimes becomes the central focus of at least one or more volumes of those novels. I like the concept because it reminds me of Ending Maker but did they really have to make the MCs 1 year old children? They can stand but not turn over, they can speak fluently but nobody questions it?
This is more of a slice of life/uplift compared to most Chinese novels out there. Something that’s a nice change of pace from the usual. Ofc, there’s quite a number of disbelievable plot holes, but overall I found it enjoyable especially as the author doesn’t give the protags a ‘everyone must hate me for no reason’ halo. This novel really does like playing the long game though, so anyone looking for a fast/medium pace and quick payoffs will not enjoy it. The release pace + chapter lengths are also quite small with a quite a bit of conversational filler which is also another issue.
Author synopsis shortened: ML and FL will veryyy slowly grow up by eating every living thing available. Spoiler: Every chapter is half filled with ML and FL conversation which is either filler or what/whatnot to eat.

Idk whats with the complaining reviews but i read this one months ago waiting for an update and i just found it again. For me this is pretty good for killing time of course you will think that it is following an outline of another story but as veterans do you really have the right to complain about that after reading hundreds of stuff already. Of course authors will copy successful works and make a version of their own, thats just how the writing industry in the internet works at this point. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the case of DD (Dungeon Defense), the one that the author plagiarized are the dialogs in WN but not in LN right? The LN is much much better for me especially those speeches. It makes me goosebump. I will be sadden if those speeches are one by one copy from another book tho. The only thing that I can think of that the author might "plagiarize" (but for me it's more of a reference) in LN is the meeting between the MC and the slave girl. It's practically the meeting between the Alexander the great and diogenesis.
As always remembering Korean names is a job in itself but the novel is quite good. The endless hiding doesn't exist like in other novels and the mc has the brain to actually reject entering obvious setups a clear goal and he's keen on a lot of things. Two problems though is the meaning of the Labyrinth and how to follow dialogue. Not much information, he just goes. SpoilerSia should just have a voice I have no idea why that was taken away as a summon with the memories and the capacity of an autonomous and learning human. Kalish should have the brackets but the hyphens aren't that bad.All in all up to the most recent ch (59) its a great read.

This is another sad one. Good concept and fun novel and a really good translation. Sadly it is extremely inconsistent. Realty will warp I to whatever is convent at the moment and author seems to complete forgot what happened in the last chapter. The number of inconsistencies and plot holes is almost impressive. Hello guys, I have read up-to-date to about chapter 38, the novel is pretty good so far. I would definitely recommend it to anybody that’s interested in Wuxian and Xianxian novels (immortal fantasy).Small review of the novel the MC is cold, ruthless, and intelligent. The story follows a transmigrated from earth whom is a cultivator, he comes from an era where resources aren’t that available. He tries to achieve it immortality but fails he then get transported to the world we’re spiritual energy is much higher in quantity and quality and there are much more resources. Now onto a few of the flaws the biggest thing is that they haven’t really pushed out A standard power system they’ve got like the first four or so levels but that’s it, another thing that I have little bit of an opinion on some people might enjoy other people might not is that he seems to have conflict with every other person so far it seems as though he hasn’t had as many conflicts but I feel as though at some point he’s going to have too many conflicts and it’s going to make the plot a little too messy. But so far I would recommend this novel Now as the novel goes on i’ll definitely update the review. I also have left out a large amount of the plot and only have given you a small synopsis I don’t think I really spoiled but if I did then sorry.Ps. don’t shit on me if the novel ends up being garbage. Hello people new to this novel, as a fellow human and brother i will read 10 chapters of this and leave a good review for new readers Ok OK heres my review! the mc trigmates into another body searching for the key of immortality and to reach heaven. Mc is cold and smart, somthing i like than a brain dead mc. First chapter felt kinda boring to me but it did start off good. Im going to be real with you i might drop this, it seems to cliche to me. The mc dies, and reincarntes to find immortality. Plus the mc does not show the slighted hint of emotion, i understand that he is a villian but hes still HUMAN after all
I’ll wait for this to stock up at least 100 chapters before I start.
