Chapter 743 Lu Jinhai Getting To Know The Truth...
"You can’t just take it out on us both. It was Lu Feng’s idea to inform Lu Lijun." Jiang Yang informed and Jiang Yuyan looked at Lu Feng, "You too, Lu Feng?"
Lu Feng passed a killer gaze to Jiang Yang. "Is it necessary to vomit everything out?"
"Why would only Lu Lijun and I get scolding from her?" Jiang Yang countered.
Seeing how these four were arguing, Xiao Min smiled as he thought, ’Seems like old days would be back soon. Miss you, boss. I wish if you were here.’ his eyes turned moist with this.

The next day Lu Jinhai was getting discharged from the hospital. Ning Jiahui, Lu Chen and Jiang Yuyan came to the hospital to get him home. This one week was so troublesome for Ning Jiahui to handle Lu Jinhai as she had to keep him away from the news and getting information about the Lu corporation or anything outside.
The doctor had to lie to him saying because of the injury on his head, he could not stress his brain so they had to restrict him from watching TV, reading the newspaper, or getting any gadgets like tablets or cellphones.
Once the news about him waking up broke out, so many people wanted to meet him but they were not allowed to do so by giving them an excuse that he needed to rest more.
In short, they tried everything best to keep him away from any information outside.
"Finally, I can go home and see everyone," Lu Jinhai said as the doctor finished the last check-up round.
"As I said before, it would be difficult to walk," the senior doctor informed.
"If I can be between my people, then I won’t mind being in a wheelchair for the rest of my life," Lu Jinhai declared.
The doctor smiled seeing how positive Lu Jinhai was and said, "It would be fine in a few months after proper treatment."
Lu Jinhai came back home, and he had to be in the wheelchair. Elders and the other family members were happy to see him there.
"Glad to see you back, my son," Grandma Zhao Shuang said, her eyes turned teary.
Lu Jinhai smiled, "I am glad to see you too, mother."
Once Lu Jinhai talked to everyone, he asked, "When would Lu Qiang be home?"
Everyone was expecting this, and they were ready for it. The reason behind spending the days in the hospital was to let Lu Jinhai recover in a better way so he could get a blow once he would be home.
Ning Jiahui who was standing beside Lu Jinhai looked at the elders and they nodded as if giving her permission for something. Jiang Yuyan looked at her brother, who followed her home too, and he assured her through his sight that there was no need to worry.
"I am taking you somewhere," Ning Jiahui informed.
"This is not the answer to my question," Lu Jinhai countered.
"I am taking you to Lu Qiang."
"What do you mean? Can’t he come to see his father that I have to go to him."
Saying she signaled the servant to push the wheelchair as she turned to lead the way before Lu Jinhai could say anything.
Not saying anything, Lu Linhai waited for what his wife wanted to do.
They reached in front of one door and it surprised Lu Jinhai, "Why are we here?"
"To see Lu Qiang." Saying it devoid of any emotion, Ning Jiahui opened the door, and the servant pushed the wheelchair to follow her.
Ning Jiahui stopped in the center of the room and instructed the servant, "You can leave."
Not saying anything to Lu Jinhai, Ning Jiahui stepped to one side as she was blocking the view in front of Lu Jinhai.
"W-What are you......?"
The next moment the words in Lu Jinhai’s throat choked as he looked at the wall in front. He could say nothing but to stare at it in disbelief.
The wall exactly opposite to the door had the portraits of all the family members who were no more in this world that included Lu Jinhai’s grandparents and so on. One table was there next to the wall which had the stand to hold the candles which were still lightened up. With all those portraits, there was Lu Qiang’s portrait too.
After staring at it for long, Lu Jinhai finally spoke. "Where is he?" his voice heavy and choked, his eyes showed he understood but still didn’t want to believe it.
Ning Jiahui who was trying hard to hold her tears finally lost control as she replied with her choked voice, "He is not with us now."
"If you are trying to pull a prank on me, then it’s not funny," Lu Jinhai exclaimed in a shaking voice. He just didn’t want to believe and prayed that it was just a joke or one terrible dream.
"This is the truth. We lost our son," Ning Jiahui insisted as she started to cry.
The tears rolling down his eyes, Lu Jinhai continued staring at Lu Qiang’s portrait, "How can this be? I-I don’t trust you."
"The accident that happened a month back, Lu Qiang lost his life while trying to save you and Yuyan," Ning Jiahui informed.
As long as Lu Jinhai remembered, Lu Qiang was not with them then how come all this happened. Lu Jinhai shook his head, saying it can’t be true, but just then someone put hands on his shoulder while standing behind him.
"It’s the truth, father."
Knowing who the person was, Lu Jinhai held the hand on his shoulder and closed his eyes, "Yuyan, tell me I am still in hospital and in a deep sleep."
Jiang Yuyan held Lu Jinhai’s hand and moved to stand in front of him. Kneeling in front, she spoke again as she looked at him with her teary eyes.
"It’s not a dream, father. He is not with us. He sacrificed his life just to save us."
She continued looking at Lu Jinhai as she caressed his hand.
"Father, I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s the truth."
Finally, Lu Jinhai opened his eyes and looked at Jiang Yuyan. Observing her face, he understood she was telling the truth and continued crying. Soon everyone standing outside of the room could hear the sobbing sounds and no one could stop themselves from shedding the tears along with the three present inside the room.
