Chapter 1036 - Complaining The Boss...

Xiao Min reached the cemetery where his previous Boss and good friend rested in peace. Every year on Lu Qiang’s birthday, Jiang Yuyan preferred to visit him alone, so San Zemin and Xiao Min never followed her, but they made sure to visit Lu Qiang after that.

Xiao Min stood in front of the grave. He dressed up neatly in a suit, as he was still the assistant Xiao Min to Lu Qiang.

Xiao Min put the flower bouquet on the tomb and bowed to it.

"How are you, boss?"

Calling him Boss and remembering those days was the emotional thing for Xiao Min. Just like others, Xiao Min too could never forget Lu Qiang and turned emotional whenever it was about his previous Boss.

Just like an obedient assistant, he started updating Lu Qiang about Jiang Yuyan. He was sure when Jiang Yuyan visited Lu Qiang; she must have told him about everyone but herself.

"Even after all these years, she is not fine. She is still stuck on you, Boss. She is in pain. I’m trying my best to take care of her, but nothing can fill that emptiness she feels...." Xiao Min felt choked and paused a little.

Calming himself down, he smiled a little as the eyes still held tiers in them, "She is so stubborn, and sometimes I don’t know what to do with her. It feels like I’ll lose my hair soon. Even kids are better than her, and her tantrums are no joke. And the way she drinks....."

"Boss was right. You really come here to complain about her." Someone reached where Xiao Min was.

Xiao Min looked at San Zemin, who too dressed up neatly and looked like a gentleman, unlike his get up like a man on a mission.

"What are you doing here?" Xiao Min asked.

"Boss asked me to accompany you in complaining about her," San Zemin replied.

Every year the two went there on different days as one had to be with Jiang Yuyan, but this year they came together.

"As if you never complain about her," Xiao Min spoke.

"I just want him to know the reality," San Zemin countered.

"I was doing the same," Xiao Min said.

San Zemin turned to look at the grave, "Boss, she is still so stubborn, even more than you. I have lost precious years of my age just to stop her from jumping into the troubles. Why does she like to fight and beat the people? See, we have no enemies left to fight that my body is rotten."

"How dare you two complain about our boss?" the third person came there.

"He came with me," San Zemin informed Xiao Min, looking at the butler Ye Bai.

"I was rotting in a secret mansion too, and this is the only day when I get to have a nice long trip," Ye Bai said as he stood up in front of the cemetery.

San Zemin and Ye Bai bowed to the tomb as they put the flower bouquet on it.

"Boss, don’t listen to these two. She is an angel," Ye Bai said.

Hearing it, San Zemin and Xiao Min looked at Ye Bai.

"Don’t update our Boss with wrong information. She is an angel only when it comes to him," said Xiao Min pointing towards Lu Qiang’s grave.

"Isn’t it enough? For others, she can be whatever she wants," Ye Bai countered.

The other two turned silent, and the three spent their time accompanying their previous Boss and left the place, with the promise of revisiting him.

In the evening, Mr. Wen and his wife were ready to visit Lu Mansion. Wen Zac already left home as he didn’t wish to go to Lu Mansion while Liwei went to see her old friends as she had the same intentions as her brother.

Wen Zac went to see his friend Ming Rusheng who was in his hotel suite, away from everyone, spending his time alone.

The doorbell of the suite rang, and Ming Rusheng, who was in a bathrobe, opened the door.

"Did you have a shower this hour?" Wen Zac asked and entered the suite without even waiting for Ming Rusheng to permit him.

Ming Rusheng sighed deeply and closed the door, "What are you doing here?"

"You don’t seem happy seeing me here," Wen Zac commented and looked around the suite, "Did you bring a girl here?" and sat on the sofa.

"Yes, so you can leave now," Ming Rusheng replied.

Wen Zac smiled teasingly, "So finally, my friend is not a v.i.r.g.i.n anymore."

Ming Rusheng glared at him, "If you are done, you can get lost."

"Cruel friend I have," mumbling, Wen Zac stood up and stepped towards the door, making a sad face, "Fine, I’m leaving."

Ming Rusheng knew his acting, "You can stay only if you will tell me what’s bothering you," Ming Rusheng spoke, and Wen Zac turned, "I just came here to drink with you."

"Fine, get inside," saying Ming Rushen went to the bedroom to change the clothes, and Wen Zac sat on the sofa.

Ming Rusheng brought the wine bottle and two glasses from the wine cellar coming out of the room.

As he passed one glass to Wen Zac, Ming Rusheng asked, "What happened? What did your father do this time?"

"How do you know it’s my father?"

"Only your father can make your smiling face turn into a sad one," Ming Rusheng replied, "Now say it."

"He wants me to marry," Wen Zac replied.

"Who did you ended up rejecting?" Ming Rusheng directly jumped to the point.

"President Lu," Wen Zac replied.

COUGH!! COUGH!!

Hearing it, Ming Rusheng spurted out the wine in his mouth back in the glass as he couldn’t stop coughing.

"If you are this shocked, then think about me," Wen Zac said, as he felt like drowning in the wine.

"What did he say?"

"He agreed when I said no but....."

"In return, you had to promise him something," Ming Rusheng completed his lines.

"Is my father that obvious?" Wen Zac asked, seeing how correctly Ming Rusheng guessed it.

Not answering, Ming Rusheng asked," Why did you say no?"

"Do you want me to marry your cousin and be your brother-in-law?" Wen Zac asked. He referred Jiang Yuyan as Ming Rusheng’s cousin.

"Before that, my cousin will kick your butt," Ming Rusheng replied.
