Chapter 97 – Dawn City conquered.

The city of the Dawn stood in ruins as it was desolated of all life.

Either people flee or had died.

But, in the end of the day, the city was in the desolated state.

(But I still wonder…. I didn't took over the Min city when I could back then, since all I was focused was running away, but this time is different.)

(Its says here that the factors may influence the capturing speed…. The city is in the ruins right now, but there is really nobody opposing me or anything like that. There maybe few stragglers or bandits lurking around, trying to loot anything…. But there shouldn't be any problem.)

(Is there are also factors like, control and stuff? I mean, how much control you possess over settlement, like total domination?)

(Or if you are doing this alone or not?)

(Well, I can ask myself about it later, for now I should pay attention to the different thing.)

(So "Conquering" is about removing the person in the control of the settlement, while "Capturing" is about turning the "Conquered" settlement into yours.)

(But you can also "Destroy" settlement, and make sure it will be no more.)

(The city is damage and could be consider "Destroyed", but its not fully destroyed, just how I did with Min city.)

(In order worlds, it can be restored.)

"Hm…."

(I have time…... I can either try to "Capture" this place…. OR try and completely "Destroy" this place.)

(Well, "Capturing" this place is more about experimenting…. BUT!)

(If I completely "Destroy" this place and have it be completely wrecked, they will lose permanently a very important city that was able attract and provide jobs to many crafters, miners and merchants.)

(…. Yea fuck it.)

(The experiment isn't worth it.)

(Its way more worth it to completely destroy this place!)

"No wait…. How would I do that?"

(There are many buildings as well as other stuff… The best idea would be to create chimeras and bombs in order to just go around, destroying everything they see.)

(But creating bombs and chimeras would take time…...Then after making them, I would need to start destroying things and that would also not be instant or anything like that.)

(So either plan will take time.)

"But there is stupid problem of gathering materials."

"At best, I can create humanoid chimeras, but it would be better if I had some monster corpse as well…..."

"However what would happened if I leave the city ungraded without anybody watching over it? Would the capture process stop? Or maybe it will straight up become 0?"

"There is definitely shit tons of materials lying everywhere in the city, even considering the fact that many merchants and other people escaped with their stuff."

"But I need to gather them first…..."

(Honestly, either plan have problems.)

(Should I just run away again after looting the most useful stuff?)

(I know how important this place is to the kingdom. Not just the lord of the territory, but the king himself.)

(And oh boy, he will be 100% pissed.)

(Yea, running away is the best option.)

(I mean, I don't know how much time I need to take over the city OR how much materials I would need to create enough explosives and the chimeras.)

(So its way safer and better option to just run away like a coward after looting this place.)

(But I could prepare the few surprise.)

The news of the Doctor reappearing did not took long to appear, considering the fact that yet another city was destroyed by him once again and forcing the people to either die by his hands.

Once again, the infamous player that is known as "Doctor" who had attacked and destroyed the starting city of Min, had once again resurfaced and this time had attacked by surprise the city of Dawn.

Yet again, another major settlement was completely wrecked by the so called "Doctor".

This entire situation, this accident caused many to look again at the name of "Doctor" once again, but this time attracting way more attention than before.

Many posts and videos were made, questioning and discussing what is going on.

[Doctor had reappeared again?]

[First Min city and now Dawn city?]

[The mysterious monsters working for the Doctor.]

[How is the player able to weaponize the plague with ease?!]

[Who is Doctor?!]

With each day passing, more and more videos and post were made by the players and even people not playing the game.

Even the more renown player began talking online about the incident.

"Today we are hosting the talk regarding the incident regarding about the player known as "Doctor"." – said the female beastman player with bunny ears and microphone like device.

"Today, we had invited the player Over Hundred who is known as one of the more well known players in the game."

"Thank you Caitlyn." – said the human player with brown hair.

"We have many question regarding the unknown player that calls himself the "Doctor"."

"In the two video clips that we had shown mister Over Hundred as well as for you listeners, the videos should appear on screen about now."

"The two videos shows the plague wearing person who is going around on rampage, killing people left and right."

"According to the players who were in both cities, they had both stated that alongside the Doctor, there were two more things."

"The first was the plagues that spread around the city."

"While the other one was a weird mishmashes monsters that had some of them look like multiple monsters or people were combined together."

"However, the two videos shown also shows us that the "Doctor" looked very different on both of them."

"What is your opinion on all of those things? Mister Over Hundred?"

"Well, first of all, we need to look at the "Doctor" in both of those videos."

"Their appearance are quiet different from one another."

"However considering the appearance of those weird "Chimeras" monsters as well as the weaponizing of the plague, we can consider that the "Doctor" that attacked both the cities was the same person."

"There is also the fact that both of them had their main weapons as claws."

"However, the second "Doctor" we see on that video had something weird going about him."

"According to the players at the scene, that "Doctor" was able to transform himself into an mechanical monster."

"Not only that, he even had a gun type weapons attached to his body, but they did not fired bullets and instead some sort of blasts, lasers or something like that."

"A player straight up turning into mechanical monster. This was quiet wild news that straight up confused many players. Honestly, many players didn't even believed them, until one player who was recording the fight and the Doctor transformation, had catched it all on his video." – said Catlin.

"That had never happened before."

"There may be a classes that may posses that kind of ability to transform, but that kind of transformation was abnormal, no matter how you look at it."

"Do you think that "Doctor" may have acquired some sort of special class?"

"Probably." – said One Hundred.

"However, there are also those chimeras and the plagues."

"How is he able to use things like those?"

"Does he posses 3 different special classes?"

"Honestly, there are way too many unknown questions regarding the "Doctor"."

"And there is also problem that we don't know his real face, so he could be using this fact to hide among the people."

"True. That is indeed bad news for everybody." – said Caitlin.

"Not only that, there is also the fact that Dawn city were completely catched off guard with the "Doctor" suddenly appearing out of nowhere as well as the army of the chimeras breaking into the city."

"The whole situation with the player known as "Doctor" is shrouded in the many mysteries and unanswered questions."

"However, one thing is currently known among the people."

"The player "Doctor" maybe the worst criminal in the game right now."

"That is true." – said One Hundred.

"He committed multiple acts of the genocide as well as well as the fact that he had completely destroyed multiple settlements."

"Before the lord of the territory that owned Min city had registered the bounty on the "Doctor" head as well as he even made a quest to hunt down the player."

"Honestly speaking, this was surprise to many."

"Not only he got a bounty, but we had find out that the quest can be directly linked to the players."

"They want us to hunt down the "Doctor", who is a player just like us."

"This was an interesting information and shocking one at that, but now?"

"Now the entire kingdom had even posted the quest."

"Yes." – said Catlin.

"We are aware of that fact and many players have even shared online about the quest in question."

"The quest information should be appearing on our viewers screens right now."

[Hunt Down The Terrorist "Doctor"]

[An unknown individual of unknown origin had appeared one day in the Min city and infected the city with the plague while going around killing people, however not managing to destroy the city.]

[The unknown individual that committed that crime as "Doctor".]

[However, when the "Doctor" reappeared, he had burned several villages to the ground and slaughtered everybody, before then going to the town and then also committing the very same act.]

[And in the end, he targeted Min city once again and had completely destroyed the city of Min with his next attempt.]

[The "Doctor" became a wanted individual to the lord of the territory, but that wasn't the end of the story.]

[Recently, the "Doctor" had remerged once again and this time had destroyed the city of Dawn and killing anybody catched in his rampage.]

[His arrogance and provocation had not gone unnoticed and now the king himself, if not the entire kingdom wants him to pay for his crimes.]

[Its unknown if the "Doctor" is working alone or not, and there is a huge possibility that he maybe be working with somebody.]

[Quest goal.]

[Bring the "Doctor" to justice or capture him before handing him over to the authorizes.]

[Discover the "Doctor" secrets and find out if he working with somebody or is linked with any organization.]

[The rewards the players can obtain from this quest will varies depending on the results.]

"This is the second quest that had been made with the "Doctor" at the center." – said Cailtin.

"Not only that, but this and the other quest had mentioned a possible "Organization"."

"Is there a chance that the "Doctor" maybe be really working for some sort of organization?"

"Well, my guess is good as yours." – said One Hundred.

"But, considering the "Doctor" bizarre abilities, we can somewhat relate to the possibility of him being part of some sort of organization."

"But then again, what is his or the organization he is part of goal?"

"His first appearance was quiet extremely early when the game just barely started and he straight up appeared and infected the city with the plague."

"Is he just straight up asshole that goes around killing everybody? As this being his own way of enjoying his time?"

"Or maybe he is just a pawn and there is somebody way bigger behind him?"

"There are still many question, but there is no way we can get some proper answers unless we discover the truth ourselves or have the guy in question answer our questions."

"But right now, one thing is for certain."

"That bastard straight up made an entire kingdom his enemy and have a nice bounty over his head."

"People will try and hunt him down, since the possible rewards you could obtain could be massive."

"But there is one thing that concerns everybody."

"What is the "Doctor" next move?"

"Will he disappear again?"

"And when he would appear again, would another settlement be destroyed by him?"

"His first appearance was in Min city and now the Dusk city. Two places that are not even remotely close to each other, beside the fact that they are in the same kingdom."

"So we won't really even know WHERE he could even possible appear and that obviously make things both more scare and complicated for everybody."

"True." – said Catlin.

"So, with all that in mind, we still don't really know who the player "Doctor" is, nor what are his goals or why he is doing any of that."

"He is currently one of, if not most mysterious players in the entire game that had even became wanted in the entire kingdom."

"Will we ever discover who the "Doctor" really is? Will we have any answers to the many questions we are having right now?"

"And will the "Doctor" once again repaired only to bring chaos and destruction?"

"Many questions, but no answers."

"Will somebody discover anything about him?"

"For now, we still don't know anything, but in the future? We may have some possible answers."
