The Wife of Hades

Chapter 64 - Kidnapped (2)

Chapter 64 - Kidnapped (2)

Then, the next second, the stick and the man's expression froze.

An Luxia also froze, staring at the man and the stick confusedly. Why did he suddenly stop? She quickly took this opportunity to try and untie the rope, but it was way too tight.

No matter how she pulled or tugged, the rope wasn't getting any looser. Then suddenly, she saw another figure appear from behind the man.

She stopped all movement as hope filled her eyes, "Hanhan!"

Mo Han looked over at her, a fierce twinkle inside his eyes as he grinned at her and then turned to the man, forcefully twisting him around.

The man screamed in pain as his arm was twisted, and he immediately dropped the stick. The two other men looked at each other, not sure of how to react.

How did this woman call for helpers?!

One of the men was going to speak, but he quickly stopped himself when he turned around and saw all the people that had arrived.

There was one man wearing a black suit standing in front, which the woman had callled Hanhan. However, he wasn't alone.

Right behind him, there were at least five more people, all wearing black suits and sunglasses, although it wasn't even very sunny.

Just looking at them was scary enough. . . They were just a small group of gangsters hired by their boss to attack some girl. Did this girl offend someone else as well. . . Some bigger figure?

The man standing in the middle chuckled softly, trying to pull his arm away, "Sir, what are you doing here? Are you here to find someone hahaha? We are. . . we are just taking orders. Why don't you pass. . ." Looking at the man's expression, he immediately changed, "I mean, we can leave. Yes, we can leave. We will leave right now."

He tried to turn around and walk away, but Mo Han still did not let go of his arm, but instead grasped onto it even more tightly.

The man turned around, knitting his eyebrows together, "Sir. . ."

"Yes, I am indeed looking for someone." He said coldly.

The man blinked a few times, trying to pull away again, "Then. . . We can leave. You can go look."

The man could easily tell that Mo Han and his group of people didn't have simple backgrounds. He didn't want to offend any unnecessary people.

"But it seems like the person I am looking for is right here."

The man tilted his head slightly in confusion as he scanned the empty parking lot, his eyes finally landing on An Luxia, who was staring straight at the man holding on to his hand.

"No way. . ." The man raised one eyebrow, "You are here on orders to attack this girl too?"

He turned to look at An Luxia, "How many people did you offend?"

An Luxia scoffed, thinking that this man was quite stupid. Mo Han raised one eyebrow, stretching out his neck as his fingers tightened, causing the man to hiss in pain.

"I am not here to attack. . . this girl." He smiled softly, a very sinister smile that had the three men shaking in fear, "I am here to attack. . . you."

Then, he twisted the arm further, pushing the man onto the hard ground. He took a step forward, and just from that simple movement, the two other men dropped their sticks in fear.

He glared at them and walked past, bending down in front of An Luxia as his expression softened, "I'm sorry for being late."

He walked around her, carefully untying the rope on her hands and then her feet. An Luxia tried to stand up, but after staying in the same position for too long, her limbs felt a little numb.

Then, Mo Han suddenly appeared in front of her, reaching down and lifting her off the ground princess style. He looked down at her, who was staring back at him with wide eyes, and smiled faintly.

"Come on, let's go home."

The man with the arm he twisted was still writhing in pain on the ground as he looked over at the men who had come with him and nodded.

As he walked away, all An Luxia could hear was the sound of the three men screaming and groaning in pain, and the sound of attacks flying their way.

She tried to look, but Mo Han quickly blocked her view, not allowing her to look at the violent scene.

The car was parked a short area away, and he gently placed her onto the backseat, sitting down next to her. His expression was quite scary as he ordered the driver to start the car and they drove out of the back parking lot.

As the car drove out of the school, Mo Han had a very cold and serious expression the entire time, and An Luxia didn't even dare say anything as she stole glances at him once in a while.

Finally, she decided that she had to test him. Why was he mad? Was he mad?

She cleared her throat softly and waited for a few seconds, receiving no response. He was mad. . . but why?

She licked her lips and closed her eyes, deciding that it was time to begin her act again.

She took a deep breath and suddenly started crying. . . Well, "crying". She turned around, trying to lunge into Mo Han's arms, but the seatbelt suddenly wouldn't stretch anymore as it got stuck.

She stopped her fake crying sounds for a quick moment as she looked down, glaring at the seatbelt and pulling at it. Mo Han tilted his head slightly and looked at her in confusion.

With no other cohice, she took off her seatbelt a little awkwardly and started crying again, moving over and falling into Mo Han's embrace.

"Ah, I'm so scared! I was so scared!"

Mo Han raised one eyebrow, looking down at her. She wasn't scared all this time and suddenly got scared?

Realizing that his little wifey was starting to act all dramatic again, and all he could do was go along with the act, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I was in the meeting. I should have come earlier."

An Luxia looked up, wiping away the nonexistent tears, "You're not mad?"

Mo Han raised one eyebrow, "Mad? Why would I be mad? I'm mad at the people, but not you."

An Luxia blinked a few times and immediately pulled away, sitting up straight again as she put on her seatbelt. So her act was for nothing? Ah, stupid Luxia! What was she doing?!

Mo Han chuckled softly from her reaction and reached over, carefully pushing her hair to the back of her head, "But who were they?"

"I'm not sure. . . They said they were taking orders from someone. I thought it was Li Yilan, but they said it was a boy."

Mo Han furrowed his eyebrows together and nodded. It wasn't a problem. He had hundreds of ways to get people to confess and speak the truth.

"But. .. . what meeting were you in?"
