Chapter 264: Avoiding Unwanted Attention
Chapter 264: Avoiding Unwanted Attention
...
"Yes, I think I do have what you need," the Swankin responded with a rich tone.
He had been in the business of transit from the first through tenth floors for many years, so meeting a customer like the silver foxkin was not something too out of the ordinary for him.
"That's good. When is the earliest we can leave?"
Azmond's voice sounded out once more as he held his hand over the handle of his six-foot katanaa katana that was strapped over his back.
Even in his silver foxkin form, he didn't want to keep Emu out in its slime form, lest they attract unwanted attention due to Emu's peculiar color scheme.
However, Emu started acting up when it saw such a delicious-looking Swankin right in front of it, so Azmond had to hold Emu still to stop Emu from buzzing.
"..."
But to the Swankin, the silver foxkin holding his weapon in such a way only made him get the feeling that he was dealing with a big customer! One who wasn't there to play around
Nevertheless, the Swanking had been in the transit business for thousands of years, and there was no shortage of unusual and ominous figures among those he had taken back and forth from step to step.
There was even a time where he had transported one of the Nine Demon Emperor's from the twentieth step all the way down to the first step!
"We can leave within the next four days. The next ship will be leaving Sunday; meet me, along with the rest of the boarders, over at that watchtower at around 8 a.m," the Swankin started to inform Azmond as his finger pointed toward a large steampunk watchtower a few miles away.
"That is when we will begin our departure to the second floor. If you are looking to go toward the higher floors, then you will need to wait at the next appropriate city on the second floor.
The times scheduled for every departure vary based on the date, but we usually have one ship leaving every week for steps 110. If you have any further questions, then you can feel free to ask them."
He finished his explanation of how his business functioned before opening one of his eyes, attempting to gauge the silver foxkin's reaction.
However, there wasn't much of anything present on that handsome face of Azmond's.
The foxkin simply responded, "No, I have all the answers I need." Before he turned in the other direction and started walking away.
His hand never left his katana, and the apathetic expression never left his features.
A question was asked, a question was answered, and a new customer was gained, so the swankin couldn't complain.
'Although That silver foxkin was quite the odd one. Even among the foxkins I have met over the years, he's definitely one of the more unusual.'
Nonetheless, the Swankin quickly scrapped that train of thought before continuing his scrutinization of the surroundings, waiting for a new potential customer to walk by.
"Oops," Azmond mumbled.
He had accidentally let his true personality slip again.
Azmond was just hoping that Swankin didn't notice anything too suspicious, or else he would have to give his driver as a snack to Emu.
And that would result in there being too much of a hassle when it came down to finding another way to make it up to the second step.
*Squish*
Two soft milk jugs suddenly latched onto his back before a giddy yet oddly serious voice followed.
|Azmond, you need to act more domineering and sanctimonious! Go like, 'I am the him, you shall kneel!' or something like that!|
Boundless's joyful voice made its way into Azmond's ears as she gave her piece on the way he should act to stay in character.
He wanted to rebuke the silly girl, but Azmond couldn't help but think that might've actually worked
"Whatever I will practice my Young Master Peng dialogue later. In the meantime, do you want to go get something to eat? I saw a sushi place run by octopus-kin, and it said they didn't serve human meat."
|Sushi!?|
Boundless practically jumped in glee upon hearing such awesome news! She had heard about this Sushi food from Azmond's memories, and she had been wanting to try it ever since!
Now that time had finally come!
|Yesh! Let's go eat sushi right now! right now!|
Boundless bombarded him with confirmation after confirmation as she rubbed that voluptuous body of hers all over him.
Azmond, upon feeling those milky white marshmallows press up against him even harder, decided he would scare the girl a little.
"Hmm Keep on doing that, and we will have a different kind of 'dessert' before we make it to the sushi place," he announced.
His ambiguous words came out with a sly grin as he licked his lips while looking in her directionscanning her body up and down like a tiger who was about to pounce on its prey!
|Eek! N-No Azmond!| Boundless yelped before backing away with her arms covering her breasts.
|We need to eat first, and then we can, you know| she softly mumbled under her hot breath.
"Know what, My Love~?"
Azmond's hands had made their way behind Boundless's waist as he pulled her into a sensual embrace, her unholy slopes pressed up against his chest as he tilted her head up.
"Please articulate what you mean by 'you know'~ I would love to understand what exactly you mean~," he whispered into her ear with a seductive tone.
|We-Well I-I I don't know|
Boundless's face became as red as a tomato before she suddenly realized that he was just playing with her again.
|Humph! You big baka!|
She spat back with a flushed face before she backed away from him and headed in the direction of the sushi joint that he had pointed out.
'Damn' Azmond thought to himself with a disappointed sigh.
He almost had her, but such a setback only further strengthened his will to improve! It looked like he needed to work on his delivery as well as his swiftness. He couldn't even give her the time to think next time!
*Tap tap*
His steps echoed out as he followed right behind the busty, brown-haired beauty.
