Chapter 1294 The Perfect Road

Everything that happened next took place in one-hundredth of a second, but in that time, Rowan's strength and potential took a leap forward that even he did not expect.

For a brief moment, Rowan's consciousness was in a daze, the amount of power that he had exploded out with Ascension in a brief window was ridiculous. At the height of that transformation when Ascension burned the hottest, Rowan had realized in horror that his essence was not endless, and using Ascension could cripple him if he was not careful.

Fifty times his base stats meant each of his attributes could be measured in the tens of trillions!

All that power had not appeared out of nowhere, they were fuelled by his essence, and now he understood that in this realm of power, infinity was a concept that could always be broken and surpassed.

Rowan had always thought with the regenerative property of his essence and the sheer volume contained inside his dimension, he naturally possessed an endless source of Essence, but to fuel a body where one of its attributes was reaching tens of trillions, even all that essence would have lasted for a few seconds before his body would be devoured by Ascension.

Ascension was immediately shut down, but even in the brief window where he had unleashed that power, it had been enough to shatter the hold of the titan, and if Rowan was not wrong, the strength he had unleashed had torn the body of the titan to pieces, of course, that would not destroy such a creature, but it would buy him time because even a single second in an encounter of this nature was incredibly precious. He had felt the body of the titan absorbing much of the explosive power that he had released and for a moment he had feared that even pushing his attributes to such heights would not be enough, but then the body of the titan reached its limit, and he exploded.

Rowan realized that in a way, he was incredibly lucky that Gothran'Inul's body had been able to absorb so much of that explosive power, else he would have blown a hole through Doom Star, likely destabilizing their precarious balance in this flow of time and space that was keeping them outside of reality for now.

Doom Star being dragged back in time was not accomplished by the Time Storm unleashed by the Eye of Time but by the World Stele. The Singularity had gone all out, dragging the entire realm of Doom Star into a fragile space that could hide them from the rest of reality, but if this realm were destabilized to a great extent, then it would be forced out of this space.

This was the only method it could convince Rowan to finish extracting the Primordial Essence from the heads of the Sirens, and the assurance from the World Stele and also the Primordial Record that doing such a thing would not draw the attention of the Primordials... yet.

Nevertheless, such an act would draw the attention of every great power in reality, and this space would hide Rowan from their probing and keep his status unknown.

It would have been a shame if this delicate act of deception was broken by his act of unleashing Ascension.

The body of Gothran'Inul exploded away from him, and the cry of the Eye of Time still hung in the air, only a mere moment had passed, but the changes wrought by Ascension led to a new change inside of Rowan.

This power gained from Ascension was not only reflected in his physical stats reaching a higher level, but also in his three Chambers as Well since they were tied to his dimensional flesh, and in this moment, the chamber that caused this great change was Knowledge Well.

At this moment, the computational power of Knowledge Well became infinitely more profound. If Knowledge Well was likened to a calculator that could do only addition and subtraction, it suddenly transformed into a massive quantum computer with infinite processing power.

All of this was for a very brief moment, but the shackles that Rowan was not even aware of, shattered, and another path for his elevation made itself apparent to him.

He knew that not just his immense attribute had brought about this change, but also the pressure he was under at this moment. A pressure that was forcing him to evolve or die.

Rowan might appear lackadaisical in certain points as if everything was within his control and nothing could break his cool, but the pressure he was under was utterly immense. He was pushing ten thousand plans forward at the same time while making sure he came ahead in some and even losing some, all to further his greater plans. Rowan did not know of anyone else in reality who shared the same burden that he carried. As a mortal, albeit the most powerful mortal to ever exist, he was not fighting against lower dimensional immortals, but some of the greatest powers to ever appear in reality, and every one of his moves was affecting all of creation, bringing forth consequences that would shape this Era. A claim that even the most powerful immortals in existence may not ever boast of making.

All of this pressure for someone who could still be considered a mortal was a fiery crucible that was quenching his entire self, pushing him towards heights unknown, to make achievements that were impossible, because only the impossible was sufficient.

Normally he would not use Ascension in this manner, often going for a slow burn process that would release all this power in small bursts, but doing that against a titan like Gothran'Inul was useless. A single burst of explosive power was what he needed. However, in a moment, this power not only destroyed his dimensional flesh, it transformed it into energy, and in any other instance, such a thing would have shattered his consciousness to all corners of this realm, leaving him helpless for a while until he could regain back his physical form, but then his dimensional soul emerged and took up the slacks, and in the instance where his flesh was energy, Rowan saw the direction of his fourth-dimensional evolution of his Bloodline of Sheol that should simultaneously enhance his Will of the Soul Origin and the Will of Truth, and that was just a side note to this elevation... and he took it without hesitation. The explosion of power had pushed back the titan for a moment and the Eye of Time had noticed his subterfuge, but this was still playing within Rowan's overall vision, what he had not anticipated was to finally see the bridge that could push his bloodline to a higher level.

The minor part of this change was to his Will of Soul Origin and the Will of Truth.

Reaching the fourth dimension with these Wills was not something that Rowan found to be impossible before now, he had a hundred possible paths he could take to reach the fourth dimension with these Wills, but it was a rare thing to have the path be illuminated so brightly that he knew he has seen the perfect road for himself.
