Chapter 193 - Almost Caught!

The two of them were relieved with their work, as Javier found her and she was successful in convincing Javier with her lie.

Who could tell him that she intentionally broke her heels?

They both made their way back to the dining hall to see, everyone had completed their dinner and were now returning towards the living room.

Austin was bidding goodbye to everyone, and when they decided to come down, the view that came was of the word being exchanged between Shirley and Austin.

"Oh my... you are too sweet as sugar! You must visit us more often, now that our companies are going with the partnership."

"Sure Ms. Johnson, as per your command! I will try to visit more often as per your liking." The comment made Jennifer's eyes shallow yet she hit it well, enough for none to witness.

"Moreover, Austin will be accompanying us on the weekend when we are going for a horse ride too. That will be a fun time!" Charles kept his hand on Austin's shoulder who too, nodded his head

"Definitely. How can I miss such a wonderful event?" Saying this, his eyes swept across Jennifer, who held Javier's hand tenderly. "Mr. Javier looks like you found your mate really early.."

Nodding his head, Javier answered back with an aloof voice, "Her heels were broken."

A short answer for his side to not advance the conversation anymore. But Austin wasn't going to leave this topic so easily either.

Waking closer to them, his smirk widened which contained mockery too, "Seems like… Mr. Javier doesn't trust his girlfriend enough.."

Hearing this Javier's blood pressure increased at a high out of anger. Who was he? A mere stranger to comment on his relationship with Jennifer?

"I don't think Mr. Brown has many connections with my personal life with my girl... instead you are going for one with my brother.."

"Obviously, I like to keep my interest in everything. Just Mere giving advice. The relationship where trust is not strong enough, are easily breakable."

The words infuriated Javier, and at the same time, made Jennfier feel discomfort.

The way her friend eyed her from top to bottom, with obvious gazes, made her wonder, what kind of situation has she landed herself into.

Yet, pressing her hand more tightly on Javier's grip, this time she answered with much sweetness, "Mr. Brown.. you are absolutely right. Trust is the backbone of any relationship."

The same words brought a frown on Javier's forehead while Austin's smile widened even more, "Exa-"

"But I must say that sometimes in a relationship, love overcomes everything. Where there is love, there is a sense of insecurity as well to indicate how much you fear losing your partner... According to my theory, with the passage of time, with the increase in love, trust also increases. The bonds are supposed to be made not only on trust but also on love, trust, loyalty, and other things.. but the prime most are the fact is the love between the two individuals which gives rise to a little bit of insecurity too.

Her words seem to leave Austin annoyed. They irked him a lot, which is quite evident from his sour face.

At the same time, her expressions were acting as an ice pack on his ranging heart.

Javier was over the clouded night, to hear her obversion on the love and..how she beautifully defended their relationship, despite not being together.

Shooting his attention back to Austin, his eyebrows were raised, "I believe, Mr. Ausitn got to know what he should do. The love between us.. can overcome any fate, so does trust since our intentions are pure."

"Hahahaha.. sure.. as you guys say. Your relationship... you guys should manage it. Who am I to interfere in between?" To ease the awkwardness, Austin laughed and let a chuckle out.

In contrast to his face, the words of hers put a deep impact on his mind and soul.

He had so much to say, show Javier his place but he has to keep his mouth shut, merely because Jennifer is still not in his territory..

Turning around, he faced the rest of the members to say, "I shall take your leave. Goodnight to you all."

They all waved at him when he stepped out of the mansion with an overbearing aura. Especially Jennifer, who was staring at his back, can feel her heart stabilizing at its position..

'God knows.. what could have happened if Javier caught us so lonely..'

Recalling the time, when Austin and she, were in the bathroom and her ears heard Javier's voice almost sent her to heaven!

Fortunately, her mind worked efficiently and she successfully executed the plan. Her eyes were dark in the color, narrowing slightly when she recalled what happened a few minutes ago.

*FLASHBACK*

"Jennifer!? Where are you?"

The voice was enough to make Jennifer's heart froze when she looked at Austin With her wide eyes. "Javier.. is coming here!"

"So what?!" Austin didn't seem to be affected at all, by her horror-filled expressions.

Pushing Austin aside with her hand's strength, she successfully opened the door of the bathroom and slipped out of the place.

Coming and standing behind one of the walls, she covered her heart and let herself calm down, 'Gosh... Why do I feel like being any criminal over here?'

It was hard to say the reason. Was it because she met Austin behind Javier's behind?!

God knows, but when she tried to peak at Javier, from the corner of the wall, she saw his furious face which already made her feel the land beneath her slipping.

The anger was evident on his face and in his voice when he slammed the door to the bathroom with much rage. 'Oh, God... I can't come out now..'

Similarly, Austin steppe out of the powder room, where he doesn't say anything, revealing her, which once again made her sigh in relief.

Yet when Javier walked towards the room, with a restless face, she knew that she had to go somewhere and make the excuse.

With this thought, Jennfier led towards the room and immediately made her way to the bathroom of the room itself.

Coming in front of the mirror she looked at her face and eyes, which were filled with horror and terror. It was simply that she escaped but she needs to find an excuse too.

'Wait.. I do know how and what to do.' With this thought, Jennifer brought her heels out of her foot and slammed its back on the basin, to break into pieces giving her an amazing excuse.

"Thank god.. no one will catch me anymore.."
