Chapter 608 – The Truth From The Past V
Fu Hua believed that if she had a date (month) she wanted to launch her products in, then it will help her to be goal-driven, and put in more seriousness.
Without a date, and even with her best ideas, she wouldn’t be serious and active with it, because she has no deadline.
"I will launch my clothing line next year." Jia Li replied.
Fu Hua didn’t say anything to her. He just watched her with his hand on his elbow, while waiting for her to continue.
Jia Li kind of got the message that he wasn’t satisfied with her answer, and was waiting for a more specific date, so she said, "I will do that around February next year."
"Why?" Fu Hua asked with a serious gaze on her. His tone sounded normal, but his gaze on her didn’t look like he was there to joke.
"Because I want to be very prepared for it." Jia Li replied as she was beginning to feel that this was an interrogation.
Fu Hua bowed his head, and then looked up at her. "What I’m going to say concerning this, might not be in your favor, but I don’t care anyway, since after your growth and helping you realize your dreams and goals before you get too lazy about it, and end up changing your mind."
From his words and the seriousness behind them, Jia Li could already guess that he was about to make things difficult for her.
Making things difficult for her, would stretch her capabilities.
"You will launch your clothing line under FJ in December. Chose a date between the first week and the second week of December." Fu Hua said. This was not a suggestion, it was a command that could not be refuted.
"What! December is too close! we are almost in August ending, and this will mean that I only have 3 months to launch my clothing line." Jia Li said in shock.
The date he had just given to her, was too close, and she didn’t think she could get things done by that time.
"December it is. You have to launch your clothing line at least a week before we have our end of the year company dinner." Fu Hua informed.
End of the year dinner was one event that FJ didn’t frequent, and now that there was a plan to be one, it was surely going to be a big one.
Jia Li looked unhappy as she stared at him. "Don’t look at me that way, your tricks can not work on me. What’s your brand name, I didn’t see it there?" Fu Hua asked while pointing at the plain paper in her hand.
"My brand name is J-mine." Jia Li replied with an unhappy gaze.
"Coined from Jia Li & Jasmine?" Fu Hua inquired when he already knew the answer. That was the same brand name Jia Li used to join FJ.
Jia Li nodded in response to his question, as she was more than happy to bring her brand to life, after coining the name from hers, and her daughter’s.
Fu Hua folded his arms and relaxed on his seat and threw a funny question at her. "What about your husband and your son? Why did you leave our names out?"
"J-mine got you covered as well, and I don’t have a son!" Jia Li said with an amused gaze.
Fu Hua smiled and whispered, "You’re about to have one."
Fu Hua gave Jia Li at most a week to prepare her partnership proposal, so he could present it in the next board of directors meeting.
This was a big task for her, and he was willing to help with the proposal. Fu Hua had nothing to fear because he was so sure of the 90% approval.
Nobody would do any business that will make him lose capital or profits. Jia Li was popular, and many fans and followers has been expecting something like this, so he knew her popularity will help her brand a lot, plus her creativity and concept.
Surely, the majority of the board of directors would never dream about rejecting her. After all, they have always been supporting Fu Hua to buy Jia Li’s designs before she joined FJ.
When the Huang family got back home, they didn’t immediately call the Fu family to tell them the outcome of their meeting with the Guang family. They first talked about the matter within themselves, rested a bit before contacting the Fu family.
Old Mr. Huang called Grandfather Fu directly and told him the heartbreaking secret he found out from the Guang family.
Even Grandfather Fu wasn’t expecting that kind of news. Although he knew the matter was not simple, but never did her imagine it would be so heartbreaking.
His concern right now was Jia Li and nobody else. This news would have a heavy impact on her, and he wondered how she would recover from it.
Fu Hua was called into the study room along with his father and uncle because of this matter. The Fu family was disappointed in Guang Bo’s actions years ago.
He committed such an abominable act, secondly, he did confess to anybody and let Huang Li be blamed and hated all these times.
If only Huang Li knew that her father would never have forced her to marry the man that r*ped her, she would have spilled the truth to him.
She had thought that he would have more reason to force them to get married after that incident, but she was wrong.
Well, she couldn’t be blamed for thinking that way with how determined and keen her father was in getting her and Guang Bo married at that time.
Fu Hua made another request to his grandfather, father, and uncle not to reveal this news to Jia Li yet.
"The Huang family asked me not to tell her about it because they are never going to go through with their initial plans." Grandfather Fu said to him.
He went on to tell him Old Mr. Huang’s thoughts on the case. According to him, he didn’t care if Guang Bo and Jia Li were related biologically, and no test would be carried out to confirm it because Mr.. Qin is his son-in-law, and the father of Jia Li as long as he was concerned.
