Chapter 121 - Mayhem(1)

Chapter 121: Mayhem(1)

After returning from the drawn match, Aakesh proceeded toward the portal room. He then entered the first virtual portal and disappeared from the store.

The next moment, he appeared in the Panagea, the same place he had exited yesterday. The first thing he searched for after arriving, whether the group of radicals was there or not. Unfortunately for him, there wasn't a single radical roaming that area.

Aakesh didn't mind it as he expected it to happen. No group whose people are dying would stay in the same area for several hours.

Only a few locations that he got from the first radical were left. All the locations he had got were the radical's predetermined locations even before entering Wolfden, so he was confident that even if they changed their areas of stay, they wouldn't go very far from the predetermined point.

Aakesh then left right away for the next area in his memory. Unfortunately, he didn't find even a hint of radical stay in the following locations. Time flew by, and two hours passed in the blink of an eye. He had searched around six locations in the past hours, but he didn't find any radicals.

He didn't give up as that wasn't the option if he wanted to complete the quest. His luck didn't favor him for the next three locations, but finally, something good happened, as he found the group of 20 radicals in the next area.

"Did the leader find anything about the murderer?" One of the radicals asked other members of the group.

"It's the adventurer. Leader converted a man who had seen the killing of one of the radical," The other member replied.

"Adventurer!"

Exclamation erupted in the crowd of radicals hearing the identity. "How can the adventurer kill so many of us when he has only gained the ability to manipulate energy a couple of days ago?" One of the radicals asked in shock.

"Damn these adventurers!" One of the radicals cursed, but envy was evident in his voice. Every living in Panagea was envious of the ability of revival the adventurers had.

Thud!

Suddenly a silence fell on the crowd as one of the radical's heads flew away. They got ready to attack the next moment, but Aakesh had already killed three of the twenty radicals.

"How dare you?" One of the radicals screamed and made a move. In the group, he was the strongest and was only one step away from evolution since he was Level 25.

Aakesh suddenly moved to his left as he sensed danger, and a needle passed through the same point at that moment. Aakesh grabbed the head of the closest radical and bombarded it to the next radical he found, resulting in the death of both at the same time.

He then reached in front of the strongest of the group who was rushing at him. The radicals didn't expect Aakesh to come at him, leaving other members of the group behind him to surround him.

A smile appeared on his face as he could see the future where the radicals would surround the adventurer, and he would give the finishing blow, but the next moment, the smile froze in his face as he saw a heart in the adventurer's hands.

He then looked at himself and found a hole in his chest. It all happened so fast that his body didn't feel a thing. "How?" It was his last word as he fell down the ground the next moment.

After killing the strongest of the group, it became easy for Aakesh to eliminate the left radicals. In only a few moments, Aakesh killed the last of them.

"Twenty more to go!" He then murmured as he looked at twenty Fiyeli corpses lying there with various expressions on their faces.

Aakesh then left the area and left the corpses to rot there. He didn't have a shred of sympathy for the dead Fiyeli.

"HOW?" A shout suddenly rang in the guard's barracks.

"What happened?" Another guard came rushing to the barracks, hearing the angry scream, but before he could find out what happened, he got ripped into pieces at the door.

A human came out of the barracks and glanced at the body pieces lying down on the ground. A cruel expression appeared on his face as he found a complete head. He crushed the head and then took a deep breath.

He then tapped the emerald he was weaning in his hands. A blue light emerged out of it and only stopped at his mouth. "It's time to start the riots," He coldly said, and the next moment, the blue light disappeared.

The next moment, every radical and convert heard a command in their heads. They were confused when they heard the sudden command, but the next moment, their eyes turned lifeless, and the crowd started moving around the city, killing every living thing they saw, creating a riot across the town.

Several guards arrived, and when they saw the scene of one of their own standing on the crushed head of someone, they drew their weapon at the man, but the next moment, they all succumbed to death as everyone got ripped into three perfect pieces.

While the corpses of the guards were lying in the barracks, the man had already left the barracks and was heading to the busiest part of town.

Aakesh was traveling to the next location when he heard the screams of people. He directly rushed in the direction of the cries. When he arrived at the area, he found a group of three people trying to snap a citizen into pieces while the houses and roads around them had turned into ruins.

"It has finally started," Aakesh murmured, seeing the mayhem and destruction. The next moment, he reached the group and slapped them. The slap had so much power that their heads burst instantly.

"A sacrifice!"

Aakesh was leaving when he heard a scream. He looked back and saw a group of twenty converts with lifeless eyes rushing at him while screaming, "A sacrifice!"

A cold expression appeared in Aakesh's eyes, as he instead of waiting for them to come, rushed at them. The next moment, he grabbed the heads of the first convert in the crowd and then bombarded them into the next convert.

"A sacrifice!" The converts acted as if they didn't understand the power difference between Aakesh and them. They fearlessly rushed at him without caring for their lives.

The strategy of quantity may have worked on others but not on Aakesh. He had infinite endurance, so he would never get tired no matter how many of them came at him.

As the fighting went on, the crowd of converts grew larger and larger as if they were being drawn by the chaos. Aakesh expressionlessly killed everyone irrespective of their age or gender.

As soon as he started the quest, he had already decided to kill the coverts even if they were children, so he showed no remorse in the killing.

Boom!

He punched one of the converts, and the convert instantly burst into smithereens. Not a single drop of blood fell on him as if the system itself found the blood of the converts not worthy to touch Aakesh.

He didn't stop and continued the massacre while the entire wolfden had turned into chaos. The radicals at this moment weren't only killing the inhabitants of the town, but they were also converting as many as they could, and many were converting due to the fear of death.

The army of converts had already crossed 10,000 in a town that had a population of a few million.
