Chapter 106 Sacred Gold Mountain! II

The first choice for the augmentation of the Ruler's Covenant Authority, for good or for bad, was Energeia.

Alexander badly needed it with the constant usage as his regeneration could not keep up!

And so, the single point of Ruler's Covenant Authority ingrained itself into Energeia- which now carried a blue sheen amongst the sea of blue.

The Enneagram had stated that Alexander's Energeia had gained a small quality of the Covenant belonging to the Third Sacred Key.

This Covenant now displayed itself as after three silver portals bloomed behind him, a sheen of golden brilliance flashed within them before terrifying auras began to strut out.

Auras at the same level, or exceeding that of the Night Walker if ever by a slight margin.

The Enneagram had begun to be more and more proactive with its analysis as its voice passively rang out in Alexander's mind.

[The Ancient Vampire, Lucana, has answered the call of your Undead Summon and is now bound to you.]

[The Royal Dullahan, Rima, has answered the call of your Undead Summon and is now bound to you.]

[The Command Abyss Knight, Stifel, has answered the call of your Undead Summon and is now bound to you.]

The auras of three terrifying undead quaked out as a gorgeous-looking silver-haired woman wrapped in a gray robe gazed towards Alexander with crimson pupils, A headless knight holding an armored head burning with black flames while seated on a deathly steed, and a pure obsidian skeleton that wielded a massive greatsword also looked on!

They seemed to have only gazed around for a few seconds before Alexander communicated with them and they began to move.

Not towards the small mountain below…but up.

BOOM!

Alexander also followed as he sent his thoughts to Claire as well, both of their figures shooting up like crimson streaks of lightning as they left others behind to wipe this battlefield!

Jujugan released a glacial wave of ice down the small mountain that bound the remaining enemies further while he also shot up and followed.

Within seconds, they cleared the green gold trees and were in clear skies tinged with gold, and they left the atmosphere of the Third Sacred Mound soon after as they felt an attractive force pull them to the left.

The force felt calm if one didn't fight it, but the moment they sought to go another way, it would become much stronger and pull one in.

So Alexander did not fight it, and instead went towards the direction it pulled them towards as another golden floating landmass was there!

The theme was speed.

He knew he had to get his hands on as many Sacred Keys as possible, because if the murderous Priestess truly attained the distinction of a Ruler or attained multiple keys…it was hard to say how deadly a battle against her would be.

So…

"If you can kill them quickly, do so. If you can't- just hold them away until I obtain the Sacred Key, and we leave right after!"

His voice boomed out commandingly as the three newly summoned undead that had gained their crimson wings nodded while observing their new Master, while Claire and Jujugan followed close behind as their figures were pulled towards another golden landmass, crashing through its trees as golden words rose around them once more.

[You have landed on the Second Sacred Mound of the Sacred Gold Mountain.]

[On the Second Sacred Mound, there exists a Sacred Key. Obtaining this Sacred Key…]

Alexander passed through the message painted in gold that rose from the Second Sacred Mound as he instantly shot towards the area where he could feel the stifling sensation of power.

Their bodies were akin to crimson lightning that flickered through the trees, quickly crossing a few hundred miles and arriving in front of golden sand that elevated to form a small mountain.

Similar to before, a floating golden ring spun calmly above this small mountain, but unlike before…only a single protector was there.

A golden serpent that coiled around the whole mountain, its serpentine eyes cold as the pressure it emanated was a notch above Jujugan!

It was something that had also almost grasped a Covenant.

Nine golden gems lay on its back as just looking at its ferociousness made Alexander want to turn it into a Minion- if only he wasn't running against time itself.

Beating a terrifying beast like this would take time!

Against such a terrifying beast…

Alexander clenched his hands without slowing down as he obscenely spent over 100,000 Energeia all at once.

BOOM!

Thick green gold vines erupted from the golden earth, going on to wrap and twist themselves around the massive serpent before they pulled it down towards the mountain- anchoring it in place as it let out a furious bellow!

Its jaws opened to release noxious gold smoke, but the figures of the Dullahan and Ancient Vampire already appeared above it.

From the Ancient Vampire, a crimson blood lance thundered down while the Dullahan used its steed to smash down with pure force, a heavy battle blooming in this direction!

And Alexander moved past all of it as his figure never stopped, shooting past the vines he called out to immobilize the golden serpent as he arrived at the peak of the small mountain right away- grasping the golden ring atop it right away.

WU!

It blared gold and reflected his determined eyes as it wrapped around his right hand and resonated with the first one he had on.

[After obtaining the Sacred Key, it is now possible to leave the Second Sacred Mound.]

[A unique type and higher form of Energeia is coursing through you by the means of the bound Sacred Key.]

Just like before, a billowing and fantastical golden wave of brilliance gushed into his body from the sacred key!

And surely, on the panel in the corner of his eyes, the Ruler's Covenant Authority was refilled by a single point.

He felt his eyes gain a deeper shade of golden radiance as he already began to rise, looking towards the bound golden snake that was now heavily injured as 4 uniquely powerful Undead Emperors ganged up on it!

And Alexander couldn't help but try as he arrived in front of its bloodied head that was roaring out in defiance.

"I'll give you three seconds to decide since I don't have the time- will you die, or will you submit to me? You can live another day to fight for Ephesus."

…!

Three seconds.

It was an extremely short period of time, and the massive golden serpent could see the conviction within Alexander's eyes!

The four Emperor Undead around it vibrated with a chilling light as they prepared to finish the job.

One second.

Two seconds.

On the third Second…

ROAR!

The golden serpent roared out defiantly as Jujugan shook his head, a glacial spear rotating rapidly being swung down along with other attacks as Alexander didn't even look back.

He and Claire already shot up towards the skies as another Sacred Key was obtained, a Ruler's Covenant Authority roiling within Alexander as on his panel, Only his Vigor, Minion King Gem Recipe, and Undead King Gem Recipe shone blue and could be augmented!
