Chapter 1020: The World's Destroyer

?

Arad's body expanded into a marvelous draconic figure sculptured out of polished obsidian. Tall and huge, the rippling void magic crackling from him made Ann gasp. "So much...energy in one place."

Throughout her whole life, she had never seen another void dragon or drakaina. That led her to seek Yog's tower in the hope of finding someone of her kin, which ended up with her receiving the cube from Yog who said it would help her meet a void dragon.

Yog flicked her fingers and everyone showed up behind her. Arad's friends and those that Gamond brought to stop them. They all were teleported right behind Yog and their fights were stopped. While Mesharra and Echidna's fights seem to have been still burning, Plum and 480085 didn't even start, and Mary had won her battle long ago but was unable to find her way into Yog's expansion.

With a second flick, Yog protected everyone inside a massive crystal barrier and floated a bit away. "Arad, Gamond, feel free to go all out. I'll protect everyone and I don't even care if you destroy this world, the only life here is plants after all."

As one of the strongest gods Yog didn't have a single world that she ruled, in fact, she was one of the first gods to make worlds for herself and now has tens of them. While the majority are nothing but wastelands for testing her magic, the past world where Arad trained was where she decided to experiment with starting civilizations.

"Arad?" Mary gasped as she looked at Arad with a shocked face, "That black dragon is Arad?" His body looked like a massive glittering gem in her eyes, a priceless piece of art.

"You must be joking..." Echidna couldn't believe her eyes, the amount of energy rushing out of Arad's body was mindbogglingly beyond anything she had ever felt in her life. This had made her once again believe that choosing to serve him was the right call.

"That black dragon is Arad? How could such a monster exist." Mesharra could only stare with an open mouth. She was quite used to using her magic to dominate a large area to be able to cast weather magic and now could sense that Arad's power far outclassed any natural disaster she had ever seen in her life. "Over S-class monster? No, he's far beyond that!"

Plum on the other hand didn't seem fazed at all, she just giggled. ^As expected no wonder the queen stuck to him...but wait...^ for a moment, her face twisted into a dumbfounded stunned face.

"What is Salamander doing here!?" Plum cried, her voice cracking in shock. Another spirit queen was making herself comfortable inside Arad. ^It should've been me! Not her!^

"So this is a void dragon?" Ann stared at Yog and just now the girls could recognize her. "Wait! Weren't you dead?!" They couldn't believe she was still alive.

480085 approached Yog and bowed, "My job here is done, shall I return to the mansion?" "You can stay and watch. Not every time you get to watch two powers clash like this."

A massive draconic figure started showing up, dwarfing Arad and the mountains behind the horizon. Gamond's true draconic body stood several miles tall, a legendary being that had never been seen before.

"Once upon a time, in a world long dead, buried under a thousand miles of ice, a legendary being of untold eons slumbers. Praise the queen, praise the pale storm. The last few people who survived after she froze the world worshipped her like a goddess, but even they soon fell to the cold and perished." Yog lifted one hand, "Long live the queen, long live the ice."

"How could it be..." Ann gasped, sensing the infinite magic rippling from Gamond. There was something about it that even she couldn't understand, it was far too harsh, rugged, and jagged like shards of ice, cold and indifferent to the world.

Gamond smiled, staring down at Arad from above the clouds, "You're smaller than my claws. How disappointing, I heard void dragons get quite big...I might have to be content with the humanoid form."

The succubus Lira who was watching heard Gamond and lifted an eyebrow, she understood what she meant. "Size doesn't matter, it is about how you use it."

Arad roared into the sky, and everyone looked at him, his figure failing to even be worth comparing to Gamond's imposing size. The only one who did not think like that was Yog who watched with a grin on her face.

"Size doesn't matter!" Arad growled as his body flashed with magic. Lira giggled, ^So we think the same, this devious dragon.^

The scales on Arad's back started glowing white as smoke rushed out of his wings. Everyone could feel that something was off and the first to notice was Echidna, "Hold up! Is this a curse?" She saw the plants in the far distance withering and dying.

"People call it a curse, but it's purely natural." Yog turned toward Ann with a grin, "He's breaking down matter using his void to charge up on mana and energy. You better watch well, you're seeing a genius even by the void dragons' standards."

Arad's body started expanding and growing larger and larger as he sucked the ground around him into his stomach. Gamond couldn't believe her eyes as it only took him a few seconds to reach her size, standing even a bit bigger than her.

"Size doesn't matter without weight." Plum looked at Yog, "For your sake, how is he able to use size magic better than us fairies?"

"It's a property of his soul. Let's just say he's talented."

Arad slowly turned back and looked at the girls, his eyes landing on Lira. "We don't think the same. I've heard you and it made sense in my mind. I'm as devious as you."

Being addressed by Arad so suddenly Lira almost shat herself, what terrfied her more is that he heard her thinking, which she couldn't even wrap her head around how he did it. "What do you say?" Arad looked at Gamond with a smile. He didn't just reach her height but surpassed her a bit.

"Hehe. Please do excuse me, I'll get on my knees right away. Let's do it right here and now." Seeing how her words flew over Arad's head like clouds, she quickly coughed and spoke again. "I've never seen you in your draconic form before. I've only heard rumors. And I guess the most absurd one of them all was true, you're the shadow of death."

Gamond could notice the death curse burning around Arad's body, if there were any living beings in a thousand miles around him they would've died. It's a good thing that Yog is protecting the ones watching, otherwise all of them would've perished.

^His power is too great to the point there is a lower limit to the power of the people allowed to stand in his presence.^

"I can kill all life by engulfing the world in my cold, and you can kill them with that curse. As expected of another world power."

"I'm not a world power," Arad lifted his claw, "But I've killed some before, and the curse had nothing to do with it." Even if he said that Arad himself couldn't believe how Gamond was still able to stand in his presence. He expected that she would've already been down by this point thanks to the curse, but she seemed to be far more durable than he expected.

Yog didn't bother warning Gamond about the curse because she knew the curse would be useless against her. Her scales are far too thick to allow any radiation into her body. Arad can't get an automatic win by just that.

Arad swung his claw down and Gamond blocked it with ease, but the ground beneath them shattered and magma started rushing out like rivers. The mere impact of Arad's hit was enough to crack the crust of the plant, sending a deep rumble across the whole globe. Two legendary dragons had started swinging on each other, and the world shall hear of it.

After just a few smacks, Gamond finally lifted her two claws and put them together, "Sorry, but this is it. You're coming home with me."

[Elemenat Expansion: Ice Age]

In a fraction of a second the whole world froze, snow filled the surface and the seas turned into solid ice. The girls sitting inside Yog's barrier cried, unable to believe what their eyes

were seeing.

"The coldest it got in your world is -60c, Gamond's elemental expansion is large enough to engulf the world and cool it to -210c. There isn't any life form that can survive such conditions, let alone when facing Gamond." Yog looked back at the girls, "I doubt you'll understand a single word of what I just said, just know that it's almost four times colder than the deadliest cold that ever existed in your world."

"Then..." Mary pointed at Arad, "Why the ground around him didn't freeze?" Arad's body generated enough heat to counter Gamond's expansion in his immediate area, but the moment he expanded his wings, hundreds of miles around him warmed up. Gamond smiled, sitting down. "This is it. There is no need for me to fight anymore." She looked at Arad, "All I wanted is a dragon strong enough to warm up my frozen world, someone who could accompany me in this frigid hell."

"ARAD!" Yog called, "You don't need to worry about this world, I was thinking of recycling it anyway. She might've given up, but still give her a beating, I'm sure you don't want to look

spineless before her."

Gamond giggled, "Why would I think of him as spineless? He did what no other dragon did. To be unfazed by my expansion, that's no small feat." She looked at Arad, "But, it indeed gets me excited to see you demonstrate your powers." She suddenly disappeared, smacking Arad in the face as hard as she could with her claw, "Come on, hit, burn me...give me a hug!" Arad grabbed Gamond by the neck, "Fine, but you'll regret this." Since Arad had spent a whole year mastering magic as a human, which was longer even than the time he spent in his original world, his magic control over the void had already reached a whole other realm. He is no longer limited by several tens of outputs but now also has all of his scales back, billions of outputs that he could use with his new efficient use of magic.

Gamond tried to push him away but her body felt several times heavier than before. She

couldn't even lift her claws as she was almost crushed beneath her own weight, those massive mountain-sized legs of hers growled in pain.

^Gravity magic? And this much.^ She was forced on her knees as Arad kept her neck in his claw.

As her body pulled down on her neck she felt like it was about to snap, yet Arad silently stared

at her.

"Can't you move?" He asked.

"Yeah...if something is big, use their weight against them..." She smiled as a massive pillar of ice burst from the ground aiming straight at Arad's chest. That wasn't just any ice spear, it was already a bit bigger than the Moving Glacier that Undine made, which made Undine

scream inside Arad's head.

Arad didn't even bother to dodge, the sheer heat radiated by the broken matter inside his chest was enough to melt the ice the moment it contacted his scales. Salamander started freaking out the moment she saw how many [Ho-white Nova]s were burning inside Arad's soul, thousands of them, each one holding more heat than she could ever hope to create.

Arad flapped his wings and flew away with Gamond, dragging her face across the ground all over the world. Ann approached Yog, "Are all void dragons this scary?" "No...Arad is just built differently." A long staff appeared in Yog's hand and the cube she was protecting everyone in flew at a blinding speed, chasing Arad and Gamond all over the world. The moment they finally managed to catch up to them, Gamond was already on the ground, beaten to a pulp with half of her face missing.

"She lost? And that quickly?" Echidna gasped. She could feel how powerful Gamond was and would've never expected Arad to be this dominant.

Balio who was in the back giggled, "I guess you don't know who Arad is."

Mesharra growled at the demon woman, "And what do you know?"

"In less than an hour he had already burned two layers of the abyss and killed their demon

lords. I expect nothing less from such a powerful being." Balio giggled.

"Yeah..." Lira the succubus looked at Yog, "Words of his power had even reached the succubus kingdom. To think I'll be the first of them to witness his power hands-on."

480085 looked at Lira, "The mother of all life saw him first. She gave his wife some of her spit

a few months ago."

"What?!" Lira cried.

"Enough, how many times I've told you to never speak of the gods' matters." Yog looked at her and 480085 stopped talking. She was referring to Arad and Aella's first night. At that time and with the help of Roberta Aella got her hand on a bottle of fake Gracie's spit. The reason it worked so well at the time was that Gracie had exchanged it with the real deal. "What's that!" Mary pointed as she saw Arad open his jaws and a pillar of light started

piercing the ground.

"He is flexing his power, like a peacock showing his wings and dancing." Yog smiled, "Look,

this is the difference between a world power with the ability to kill all life from the face of their world, and a world power capable of destroying their world."

A violent gust of black ash burst out of Arad's jaw, followed by a sea of burning crimson flames that melted the surrounding mountain ranges into magma. The fire quickly condensed into a thin beam of pure blue flames and plasma, drilling a hole straight into the world's core.

The whole world started shaking and cracking, great ravines and cracks exploded with fire as the seas drained into the inner layers of the world and the surface turned into a burning hell.

Everyone watched in horror from Yog's box as the whole world crumbled into chaos with Arad being the only thing staying in one piece, holding Gamond by her wings.

"He used his breath to drill to the world's core and then used gravity magic on it, reversing

the gravity of the whole world which caused it to explode." Yog flicked her fingers and everyone appeared back inside her tower, standing before her throne where she sat. Arad appeared seconds later behind them in his humanoid form dragging the injured Gamond by the arm. "To think she survived that." Arad looked at Gamond.

"She would've suffocated quickly enough afterward." Yog waved her hand, "But, she's indeed

tough to survive the world getting destroyed. I'll send her to Hati to recover, I'm sure she'll be up in..." But as Yog was speaking Gamond stood up, growling. "That hurts...damn it." She glared at Yog, "I'll be fine." Her wounds were already regenerating which shocked even Yog, "Wait...Did Isbert do anything to you?" She stared at her.

"Isbert? No...I've just discovered something while fighting Arad. The regeneration I got after surpassing the twilight is even stronger than I expected, it responds to the damage I take." Gamond cracked her neck and her scales had already healed up, "As long as I still have mana or

can regenerate it, the only way to kill me is by burning my body to ash and sealing my soul." "So you're basically immortal?" Arad looked at her and she shrugged her shoulders, "Surpassing the twilight for dragons means surpassing death. It's like a human refusing to die of old age until he somehow grows young again."

Yog looked at Arad, "This means that your training here is over. I'll send you back to your

world, but that'll be tomorrow. And before you ask me why, it's because time flew here at a different speed than your world, which means I'll have to make sure you don't get ripped to pieces by it."

When Yog first brought Arad here. That was going from a slow timeline to a faster one, which

meant she could just give Arad enough speed, now she needed to make sure to slow his time quite a bit or he would die.

"Take Ann and those two spirit queens with you, of course, Akasha, and all the power you got

here is still yours to keep. But for those four, they'll be staying back." She looked at Mary, Echidna, Plum, and Mesharra.

"Wait!" Mary shouted at her, "I want to go with him!" "Same here! I was promised by him." Echidna growled with a raging face.

"I can't do that. Your souls are bound to this time speed. You'll age and die in a second in his world." She smiled, "But I'll get you to his world. It just, won't be as simple as sending him."
