"Scribe Book!" Seth muttered.
[Searching….]
[Book Found… recollecting]
A book then materialized within the cycle inscription. It was the book he threw. Seth nodded before he slumped in the chair and looked at his Canvas Replica.
He was able to finish 100,000 copies in just a little over 26 hours. Even though he was surprised that he was too tired to analyze what happened in detail, he just had one thing in mind and that was he achieved Time Dilation due to Vela Ascpecto, Mansion bonus and moon blessings.
He took only a short nap before he continued, he needed to finish the whole papers and get another Canvas replica before he went out hunting Rena for more.
Sure enough, a little over a day, Seth came out from the Mansion like a madman, his eyes were bloodshot, his head protruding with veins and his hair stood erect. He was breathing erratically as he stared at the moon above.
He might have moon stigma to replenish his Exertion Points in the daytime and the moon in the nighttime to make him fatiguesless but there was a limit to that. His mind was so consumed to the point that he can't keep reading the paintings with clarity
At first, he had assumed that he had become immune to the painting's mind impact but it turned out he just got better and now he felt the same dizziness as before.
"I need to do something else, to push my mind away from the damn paintings!" Seth commented after he recovered, he looked down and he was frozen in place.
The Canvas were still doing their job, Green Aura was still being pulled into one of them. Nevertheless, the fruits that were having their aura sucked into the canvas seemed to be dull and weird. Aura Construct also has dissipated already.
But Seth's eyes were on something else, a child, besides the little pool that has tap water. The baby with a dark pupil and white sclera was staring at him. Its body was… black, actual black as in tar black. However, his palm and feet were white, and some places like his inner joints were a bit bright.
That was very strange!
But it was not the strangeness that made Seth freeze but the realization that he had been pulled into a strange state of him being a fetus but always forgot about it whenever he woke up. It was now that he and the child revealed themselves.
[Congratulations, your Wondering Self has found you]
"Just amazing!" Seth grumbled. The baby wanted something but Seth didn't know what. "I will not be a nanny!" Seth told himself but he couldn't stop looking at the naked baby that seemed to barely crawl.
"Fuck you, Dark Guard!" Seth cursed silently. He knew exactly how this baby come to be. It was as a result of his hand that Dark Guard from Dark Void ate. Seth frowned and realised Ash knew what happened.
The baby had drunk water before he saw the life form he had been wanting to find. He was born with a desire to consume the man and have his identity but now that he looked at the man, he saw a massive bubble force from the man's head and there was no way he could feed on that.
The baby knew his fate now, he would be a slave, a servant the moment he grew up as long as he didn't feed on this life form, if that didn't happen he would be a lost, monster with no aim and goal in life.
The baby was barely having coherent thoughts when he saw red liquid flowing and it enveloped him, it made him warm and he fell asleep. Not only that, a sweet fruit was with him to eat.
Seth took the kid upstairs and left him encased in red liquid with a small hole to breathe. He can't allow him to roam the forest, he knows he will kill his beasts. He doubted even the little cub would survive the baby, let alone others.
"I need to meet with Ash!" Seth said gloomy. He then prepared himself and wore his new cape which was blue at the top and green below. Then he went outside.
Antler was out grazing but no matter how far it went, there was a flow of aura that was coming and infusing into the Canvas Replica. The flow was small though, as for Green Aura was flooding inside the canvas.
He touched the canvas.
[First Painting Canvas Replica (F-)]
[The canvas capacity has been reached]
"Hmmm!" He then stared at the marvellous painting. It was a perfect image as if taken by a camera. It was only after the sun came up did Seth realised he was in a trance.
"Amazing, it has partially the effect of First Painting" Seth commented.
Instead of leaving he took the painting into the mansion and hung it. A fragrance of nature filled the room. At the same time, the green aura within vanished making it more clean.
He went and touched the fruits and leaves, their aura had sucked into the canvas, and they collapsed to powder before they flowed into the canvas too. Seth's heart skips a beat and when he looked at the canvas, it was as if they were placed inside. This scared him, more than his first assumption.
He then touched the mango among the fruits, it felt like he was touching a mango but then he realized as if the canvas was going to collapse, it too was so saturated. So, he carefully took the canvas inside.
He quickly checked Antler's canvas. It too was saturated, there were even some cracks, he quickly disconnected the aura and took it inside. And spread it on the table.
The soothing feeling of the antler inside was identical to the original.
"I'm right, I can store abilities or effects inside this canvas. Forest Paintings and a Soothing Antler were my proof. Can I eat the fruits?" He looked at the one with the fruits.
Seth then decided to spend the day checking various' things regarding the three painting canvases. And his findings blow his mind.
Seth folded them and set them aside after he realized the canvas and the aura were still interacting and needed time to settle. It was as if you just paint something with water flour and you need to it dry.
He came out and start making Aura Construct. He spent the day reinforcing it, then going around documenting different trees, especially the one he saw in the volcano people aura trace.
At sunset, for maximum blessing, he walked to leave the forest, that when Hourglass clicked and he sensed that the moment he left, the danger would flow his way. That was its curse.
Seth stood outside watching 459 abhorrent monsters from far away glaring at him. "They are the danger?" Seth wondered.
But as he moved toward them they all ran away. He was Grade 5 and they were lowly monsters. Seeing that, Seth changed cause and went to Temra Canyon which he found empty.
Only the icons, Temra painting and alter sculpture. "So they already left?" He looked around and muttered, "If I had good tools I would have made Temra Sculpture too!"
He then turned and went to Silent Veil Sanctuary to see how the people were doing but the moment he came close he realized that there was something wrong. He shifted his Grade from 5 to Grade 1.
He walked in and met with four brawly people in brown attire glaring at him. The very guard that used to stop him in Temra Canyon stood as a leader. "Welcome, guest. Pay one gold to have access to this sanctuary. If you don't have gold, enlist to serve the Brown team for the duration of your stay here.
That means you shall share your class and main ability with us!" He acted as if he didn't know who Seth was.
"I have gold!" Seth said with a smile. He hand it to them and they gave him a Brown Wood Badge that have Brown Team's name on it
"For the duration of your stay, you must abide by the rules set by the Brown Team!" The guard added.
[You are now Residents of the Brown Team!]
The system alerted Seth.
'Interesting ' Seth was amused. In a sense, he was the owner of this place and yet now he was branded as a guest. And he can even feel that there was a binding on him that will push him to follow the rules!
Seth entered and found many stalls made by NPC and players selling their wear. He checked but nothing captured his interest. He then uses, [Sky View Skill]. Seth has the authority here to use that skill.
He pinpointed where every important faction was and found the actual chief of the village and he went to her after he turned off the skill.
He found her moulding flour dough and shaping and then frying them in oil. Seth can feel her sadness and a bit of anger due to the things happening. There was also a bit of fear. Your journey continues on m v|l--NovelBin.net
'Is this because of Noble Class instinct or the Chieftainsy part? They seem to be the same but with differences.'
Seth has not gone through the chief title parts; he only glanced at them. He wondered if it had any extra function.
The moment she noticed him, she smiled and her mishmash emotions became glad. "Welcome Sir!" She then took three fried snacks and gave him, "Please rate it?" She added.
Seth ate and found them good. They were made from flour and sugar but there was some flavour underneath that made his head refreshed. It made his exhausted brain recover fast. He quickly ate the rest and the result was great, as if something was massaging his body.
"That is very good. What is it called?"
"Mushi!"
"I like this Mushi!" Seth said as he asked her how she made it which she explained with vigour.
Seth can see and feel the intention of her every move. Apart from being happy to see him, she was also hoping for something.
'I need to check that chieftaincy more!' Seth concluded as they changed the discussion to the guests that came now.
"Actually, we are glad they are here. They brought a lot of things that we lack, and they even taught us some useful skills that will be good for our future!" She explained with a smile
'Why are you worried then and why do you hope something from me!' Seth thought as he watched her but he didn't voice that concern.
"That is amazing! How is the farm?" Seth asked.
"Come let me show you!" She said enthusiastically. She called another girl to finish what she was doing and take Seth to the farm.
"We have never seen a pool of water like this unless during the Sacred Gawee rain and when you left your water Guard!" She said with a smile.
There was almost a 4×4 pool of water, they now made canals that ran around the farms. Kids were fetching the water from the side taken to their homes.
"I didn't even give you this much water!" Seth admitted. He knew for sure water was the most valuable resource.
"Seems like Raindrop is very generous!" He added
"You know them. Good, I was hoping for that, it means we don't need to worry about them!" She chimed in.
"I know some of them. How did you buy the water from them!"
"We didn't, it's a temporary gift they planted here, saying we should harvest as much as we could and when they leave they will take the device with them. But that was okay, we have been fetching and refilling our reservoirs!" She said but suddenly someone started to call her name disrespectfully.
