Chapter 216: Dangerous Trial

Chapter 216: Dangerous Trial

It was then that he recognised the effect of the plant's auras. Most of them affected his aura and made his body energized.

To not waste energy, he set the painting papers. He wallpapered the walls with them, and prepared the ink, when weakness hit him, he recognised there was an aura that has some poison effect now affecting him.

But he knew it wasn't critical as such he just continued.

Seth watched his skin developing rashes and becoming dark brown. He immediately used Moon Stigma to eliminate more aura outside his body but it didn't seem to be the solution.

He had no choice but to come out in the sun, sit, close his eyes and then focus on his heart and blood flower. His heart crushed the impurities while blood aura tried to elevate his aura blood conditions.

This became worse at noon, the poisonous aura that came from the poisonous plant was very potent. Seth didn't expect that at all.

In 3 hours things began to lessen and he returned to normal by sunset. He fell asleep after that. The moon was bright when he woke up. Thinking of training aura, Seth shook his head, he needed a day off.

So, he focused on paintings. He had become faster, and his mind can stay strong as he painted but that was due to the moon above and his dangerous obsession. Soon he began to deplete the papers fast.

He became too tired at dawn, so he fell asleep, woke up later and resumed his paintings. In the night, he resumed his aura training. He needs the Aura Rigidity to resist touching his aura.

After he was bored, at sunrise he went to Vera Sanctuary. The people greeted him with a smile, some gave him homemade food and he took a bite.

He then infused aura into the dragon statue and the paintings before he left for Vela and did the same. Returning home he passed by the statue of Abuhe Vulcan. He looked at his masterpiece. It was amazing and perfect till the game stopped giving him points.

"Aura Trace!" The footsteps of many people became pronounced. He looked around until he found Abuhe's footprints. He grabbed it, and he felt his head assaulted with memories of the old chief.

He released it immediately and came back to the mansion before he fainted. Tracing powerful figures was very dangerous. Seth concluded.

But at some point, he felt his head clear when he woke up. Not only that, his aura has become thicker. The truth was, Seth has a lot of aura but his control was still lacking to use it properly.

Under the moon, Seth went around looking for Aura Trace belonging to the normal former villager. He touched it and attempted to grab it, he felt the man but no memory. And he couldn't grab it.

So, for the night he went around touching all the aura traces he can find belonging to normal people. He fainted at last. Woke up at midnight and continued.

[Congratulations]

~Aura Touch (C+)

_____

The qualitative improvement allowed him to literally grab a non-living thing's aura. And using Aura Trace on his eyes, he managed to pluck an aura that belonged to a child.

He ran and slammed it at the child statue. The statue underwent a qualitative change that made it more refined. Even Seth was trance.

He then has a new job.

Like a madman, Seth was dishevelled as he walked around with a creepy smile, his skin had become darker, his eyes pale white, and his hair seemed to wiggle on its own. But the moment he met with Antler he came back to normal.

Somewhere else in the continent, a voice said, "That boy is too rigorous. He should have fallen by now!"

A coarse feminine voice said, "We need to let him go. I can't take it!"

"We have the Dark Beast with us. He will give in to his obsession soon. Then we can help him!"

"I doubt that!" The feminine voice said. There was a pain in her voice.

"We can't let it go, it will be dangerous if we are found out. Besides, if someone sees me. I can't seal his mouth for long!"

If they think they want to break Seth, that was close to impossible even though the method they were using was different from what other entities had used. Theirs were more potent and specialized.

Eventually, they couldn't hold on and Seth suddenly felt as if he woke up from a night of sleep. It felt strange but he felt like he was in a dream where he had become a child. He starts setting up Sapna's Trial from time to time.

He sighed and then walked back to his mansion. A Lot of papers have illustrations on them. He didn't feel anything wrong about it though, he knew that he was training. However, he did know that he had finished two more First Painting Quests and got his record. Which was an amazing feat.

He now has two First Painting Canvass (F-). And two First Painting secrets to glean.

Seth remembered Sapna's request. He prepared and left but he felt danger coming his way and he couldn't put his finger on it.

Nonetheless, he reached the red canyon and found the place more populated than ever but there was tension in the air.

"Good, Seth you are here!" Zambia said he dragged him to discuss. "We are leaving this place!"

"Why?" Seth asked.

"We believed in 3 days, something known as Dark Wave will be here. It used to happen from time to time over a century according to the locals." Ash explained.

"And what is that?" Seth inquired more.

"No one knows. No one survived it before. But those that get a glimpse of it have said it was a tide of dark fog that swept the whole area. This time it was coming this way. Which was strange because there are Red Ancient, Dark Void and The Nightmare Living Roots!" Rain, the leader of Raindrop elucidated.

"Even Dream Fortune said we shall leave this place. There are a lot of unknown variables!" Allen said gravely.

Seth felt sad that the sanctuary he made will be vacated. He then looked at Sapna and asked, " Are you ready?" she nodded.

They sneak out of the canyon and followed Seth to the trial destination. It was more dangerous and time-consuming than those he made in the past. He placed the trial at the end of a cliff where he first saw Vera.

Several red strings went deep into the ground while they attached to tree branches in the sand.

Not only that, there was sand that would sink if one wanted to reach the strings. At random, flat stones served as tiles to walk on the sand.

The first danger was, she had to find which tiles to walk on to reach the strings and follow the correct patterns in pulling the strings out. failure to do that will cause an explosion that will cause injury.

Not only that, the sand can move and slide toward the clip dragging its victim. That wasn't the only problem as there was a possibility that abhorrent monsters were lurking inside the sand. Who knew if a Gawee beast was inside?

The most dangerous thing the people recognised was that there was a large map on paper. They have no idea if it was meant to guide or confuse them.

"I would like to say, this trial is at your own risk. Do you agree!" Seth declared.

Sapna looked at Lady Rain but the woman was in thought.

"Name your price. We don't want your games!" Sue said, she was the youngest of the Raindrop team.

"5 billion unions!" Seth uttered immediately with a poker face and that stunned everyone.

"You are joking?" Sue asked shocked, but Seth just said, "Before sunset!"

He wasn't joking at all.

"We agreed!" Rain said. Seth looked at Captain Brown and Zambia that were there.

"Two groups can testify that you agreed," Seth said to them and the two men nodded. He smiled and added, "It took time to finish it and the danger is real. The map is somewhat real but you need to think outside the box."

He summoned a table and chair and sat down he then put a board reading,

[Aura Activator]

His glass shield was by the side and he leaned back with a smile. Captain Brown frowned as he observed that both Hourglass and Raindrop Team were scowling and also agitated.

"Can we all participate?" Lady Rain asked.

"Only Sapna should cross the quicksand, reach the string and play with them to get the prize. Anything else is for everyone!"

"Aha, we can help!" Zero bellowed in excitement. He quickly transformed to half a dragon and observed the sand quickly and then jumped to the other side to look down at the cliff.

"Damn it. This cliff is dangerous. It is 300m down, with very steep smooth rock. Not only that, Living Roots reached all the way here, and I saw a lot of animals and beast-dried carcasses. There is also a pressure emitting from the down border, not only that, there are dangerous caves that may house possibly ...." He became silent.

He looked at the people in shock. "What?" Rena asked.

"I sensed 3 Gawee Beasts and 1 something. And far away is a… dragon sleeping!"

"What race?"

"It's shrouded in a force field. Don't worry it was about a kilometre from here," he said.

Everyone was silent and looked at Lady Rain, shall they continue and she nodded. The map was spread open and stared at. Rena made many papers and they repeated what they did last time.

That was the way, as they immediately piece the string patterns to a certain degree. Zero jumped back and started at the quicksand. "His red liquid is blocking my sight!" He said.

"Come help here!" Rena said. He checked but was more confused before he said he noticed a pattern on the strings, maybe they needed them to conclude that piece.

Everyone agreed with him. Ash spread his ashes and sank into the sand but immediately the sand started to move and shift, disorganising the tiles and the moment he removed it, it stopped.

"There are about 20 dots inside. I think we shall be wary of them." He announced. Discover exclusive tales on m,v l'e-NovelBin.net

Rudra stood and raised his hand, the tiles lifted a bit but nothing happened. "I don't know but it might be feasible to lift the tile for her to cross!"

In about 30 minutes they concluded how they would go about it.

"We can save her right!" Lady Rain asked with uncertainty and Seth nodded.

Sapna was super worried as she put down her contour armour. With drops of water floating around her. She stood before the quicks sand nervously. Then she looked back at Fist, "What was your trial?"

"Killing a Gawee Monster about to evolve without destroying the core to obtain the vial that was with it!" Fist said.

"How could a Gawee Monster let a vial close to its core?" Captain Brown didn't believe that.

"The Vial contained a very precious bloodline that would evolve instantly to a Beast and also gave it special power!" Zambia clarify.

Sapna nodded and looked at the sand, then she jumped on the first tile very lightly, it was floating by Rudra however pressure emanated from the tile to her body and she froze. Her nose began to bleed immediately.

"Stop, Rudra!" Lady Rain called out and the moment the tile touched the sand, the pressure disappeared and she fell down, Rudra used his whip and pulled her out.

Her status was dangerous as she was afflicted with young dragon pressure. Seth sighed and leaned back and his eyes closed.

"How deep is the sand!" Lady Rain asked.

"2.5 meters!" Ash said after some thought, he had sensed it with his ashes before.

"We rule out levitating the tiles!" Zero said, "I know he will not leave out a big error like that. However, he didn't know your abilities. Is there any utility ability!"

"You shall rule that out too!" Captain Brown said." Maybe it was designed to support her alone. And if anyone helps then there will be consequences"
