Chapter 316: “A Joyous Feeling”
Hermione screamed first, and a thought popped into her mind immediately. This must be Sean’s doing.
The fear and panic of leaving the ground made it difficult for her to adapt. She even thought about it fifteen seconds after takeoff to extend the time of not talking to Sean from one day to a week.
Hermione is not afraid of Buckbeak. She can still panic. After all, it is surprising to fly into the sky suddenly, and she is not good at Quidditch either.
The first thing she felt was discomfort, Buckbeak’s wings flapping around her, feathers and muscles rubbing against her thighs. Moreover, the Hippogriff’s flying rhythm is very fast and far more bumpy than a broomstick. Hermione is always worried that she will fall if she is not careful.
“Sean! I will kill you!” She subconsciously grabbed Buckbeak’s feathers, and the Hippogriff trembled uncomfortably, but for Sean’s sake, it continued to soar.
After flying for a while, Hermione’s fear of flying into the sky finally dissipated, and her body began to adapt to the rhythm of Buckbeak’s wings.
The strong wind howled, and Hermione finally opened her eyes a little. Her vision was slightly blurred, but a scene she had never seen before appeared in front of her.
Hogwarts Castle was completely presented in her line of sight; the tall towers soared into the sky, but it seemed within reach for her. Buildings with historical charm surround the majestic castle, and the courtyards have a shocking beauty when viewed from a height.
Hogwarts castle stretched out, with a gravel path leading to the school gate. Below her is the quiet and deep Black Lake, on the left-hand side, she can see the three-way intersection leading to the Forbidden Forest, and on the right-hand side are endless mountains and jungles.
At first glance, the mountains seem covered with green things, lush leaves layered together and finally connected to the boundless sky. Hermione was immediately stimulated and suddenly felt that flying into the sky was not a scary thing, and she even wanted to shout loudly.
She turned her head and saw that the classmates on the edge of the Forbidden Forest had turned into small dots. Hagrid’s dot was particularly big, and there was also a familiar figure beside him who couldn’t see clearly.
Hermione looked at him with stern eyes, “It’s your fault.”
However, after making sure that no one could see her clearly, Hermione directly opened her hands, the corners of her mouth became more and more curved, and finally, she couldn’t help shouting.
She felt that the mood in her heart was swept away at once. Buckbeak under him seemed to feel her joy, and after a long cry, he began to dive quickly.
Hermione was no longer afraid and even looked forward to what kind of actions Buckbeak could take. The Hippogriff glides down quickly, its four hooves lightly across the lake, the cool lake water hitting Hermione’s body.
“Hey, Buckbeak, where are you taking me?” Hermione noticed that the Hippogriff had no intention of turning back, patted its head, and said loudly.
Buckbeak let out a long cry.
Hermione found that Buckbeak brought her to the edge of the Black Lake, with cascading mountains and cliffs.
“It’s time to go back, huh? Where is that?” Hermione was about to talk Buckbeak to return, but an open grass field suddenly appeared in front of her eyes.
This piece of grass is like a peach garden hidden in the cliff, and the pink flowers are in full bloom.
“It’s beautiful.” Hermione murmured before sliding off Buckbeak, who had landed.
The flowers and plants are rippling slightly with the breeze from the lake, even though the mountains and fields are all over the place, but the fragrance of the flowers is not strong.
“Is this the secret place Sean discovered?” Hermione thought silently and slowly smiled.
On the side, Buckbeak ran around slowly and walked to Hermione with two beautiful pink bouquets in his mouth.
Hermione took the bouquet and asked softly, “Did he ask you to do this?”
Buckbeak tilted his head and thought for a while. Sean asked him to bring her here and find the two most beautiful flowers to pick for her. He doesn’t know if they are pretty or not. He just picked the two close flowers.
Buckbeak nodded, indicating that Sean had indeed instructed him to do so.
Hermione’s face flushed slightly.
She looked down at the bouquet in her eyes, her eyes flickered, and suddenly a beautiful smile appeared.
She knew the flower in her hand, the evening primrose.
At the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Sean thought helplessly while looking into the distance.
The flower field was discovered when he reached a consensus with the Basilisk. He didn’t study anything about flowers and plants but was quite interested in them.
However, he doesn’t know what kind of colorful flowers are there. At least it looks very beautiful there, girls should like it.
Sean raised his head quite proudly.
He just hopes they can come back quickly. Buckbeak is the only Hippogriff. If he doesn’t come back, the students will miss the whole class. However, Sean’s slight worry was immediately erased by another trouble.
“All students, this is the end of the class. Go back to the castle and assemble in the hall. Hagrid, please lead them back. I’m going to the Quidditch field.” A figure appeared from the side of the path and said to everyone.
It’s Professor McGonagall.
Sean looked suspiciously, only to see Professor McGonagall’s face was full of anxiety.
“Professor,” Hagrid shouted brokenly, “What’s the matter? There’s another student who hasn’t come back. Why don’t I wait for her here?”
“What?!” Upon hearing the news, Professor McGonagall walked over anxiously.
“What happened?! A student entered the Forbidden Forest?!” She clenched her wand tightly.
Hagrid was about to answer when Sean cut in immediately.
It was against the school rules to let the Hippogriff take the students to fly, and Hagrid couldn’t let Hagrid take the blame for himself.
“Professor, it’s Hermione. Today, we’re going to learn from Hippogriff, and I decided on my own to let that guy fly Hermione into the sky.”
“Mr. Wallup!” Professor McGonagall glared at him, and then his expression became more anxious, “Where did you fly to?”
“Um, it should be at the edge of the Black Lake.” Sean pointed in the direction.
Professor McGonagall turned pale with fright, “My God. Hurry up, find a way to get Miss Granger back.”
“What happened?” Although he was puzzled, Sean could tell that something must have gone wrong.
Professor McGonagall directed Hagrid to find the professor and quickly explained, “I will tell you later. There is a prison break in Azkaban!”
“What?” The sudden news took Sean aback.
Professor McGonagall’s face was full of seriousness and anxiety, “Not only Azkaban, the Soul Eater Tower in France, the Alpine Prison in the United States, and even the prison at the headquarters of the Guards. There have been large-scale prison breakouts.”
“After someone escaped from Azkaban, the minister immediately ordered them to hunt down them and protect important places. The dementors in Azkaban have been dispatched in large numbers, and Hogwarts is also a place to be inspected and protected.”
Sean’s pupils contracted slightly. The news was completely beyond his expectations.
He took a step forward anxiously, “The dementors are here? Where are they stationed?”
Professor McGonagall gasped, “The order was issued very quickly! The dementors are almost at the school, and with Professor Dumbledore around, they dare not approach the school, but the border is their main line.”
Sean didn’t have time to ask any more questions and ran towards the edge of the Black Lake.
“Wallup, where are you going?” Professor McGonagall shouted behind him.
“Hermione, Hermione is on the edge.”
“Don’t go there and come back quickly. Dementors have no feelings, and their nature will not understand excuses and begging for mercy. Come back quickly, and I will bring Miss Granger back.” Professor McGonagall shouted.
Sean didn’t turn his head, “It’s too late, Professor.”
The place Hermione went was the closest to the Hogwarts border. He would only hate himself for not practicing his flying skills and for always using the Nimbus 2001 that Sirius gave him, which is useless now, given he doesn’t even use it.
Sean quickly ran to the lake’s edge, directly took out his wand, and began to cast an explosive spell on the lake. There was a huge splash on the lake’s surface, and fish were blown to the ground from time to time.
At the same time, Sean said something. A hiss came out of his mouth and then resounded throughout the lake.
“Come on, buddy. If you don’t come, I’ll just use another spell.” Sean said anxiously in his heart.
“What’s wrong with Sean?” The students looked at each other.
“Granger flew too far. He is trying to get her.” A student said.
Harry and his group were also looking at Sean anxiously, “It would be great if there were a broomstick.”
“Hurry up, buddy. You must be still there. Didn’t I ask the Basilisk to bring you a lot of food last time?” Sean firmly stares at the lake.
Suddenly, air bubbles surged up from the water, and a black shadow was moving from the lake’s edge.
“Here we come!” Sean’s eyes lit up.
“Wallup, come back!” Professor McGonagall was running over.
Just when everyone was wondering, a huge splash of water suddenly splashed into the sky.
“What the…” Professor McGonagall also stopped and took out her wand.
Under the horrified eyes of the students, a gigantic monster appeared on the lake’s surface. It seemed to float up and then jumped up.
It was a huge horse-shaped monster with long seaweed and black eyes. Some girls even screamed in horror after looking at it.
“What is that?!” Harry and Draco exclaimed in surprise at the same time.
The horse-shaped water monster let out a high-pitched, excited cry.
Sean straddled it directly and immediately ordered, “Quick, over there. As fast as possible, buddy.”
With another long cry, the horse plunged into the water without any hesitation and quickly swam in the direction Sean pointed. Sean immediately closed his eyes, and the cold lake immediately surrounded him.
This horse creature in the lake has the same speed as its normal-sized counterparts. Sean can only feel the cold water constantly brushing over his body. Even some fish bumped into him.
The horse leaped out of the water beautifully. Sean didn’t even open his eyes. He quickly took a deep breath and plunged into the lake again.
Although the Black Lake is huge, Sean’s location is not far from Hermione, and the horse is moving extremely fast. It only took three breaths, and the horse said something.
‘We are almost there.’
Sean tugged the weed-like mane, signaling it to float directly up. The horse slowed down and jumped out of the water again.
The lake water seemed to have suddenly turned cold, and even the air inhaled into his lungs made Sean ache.
The scene in front of him suddenly made his breathing heavy.
Rotting corpses in black robes floated in the air, and they had already surrounded Buckbeak and Hermione in the field.
