Chapter 131: “A Package From Hagrid”
There was still a long line in the bookstore, and there was a tense atmosphere between the two.
Bellatrix is no longer a lunatic who has been in Azkaban for over ten years. She wears a decent and extravagant robe. Her broad chin and thick eyelids show her beauty the most. Making her look more threatening.
Bellatrix raised her chin and looked at Sirius as if she were looking at an animal, “My poor cousin. You have become like those lowly animals right after you disappointed your family. What would Regulus say when he saw you looking like this?”
Regulus is the younger brother of Sirius and a supporter of pure-blooded wizards. The relationship between the two in their youth is unknown, but it must not be nice from this response. Judging from what Lestrange said, will Regulus still be concerned about Sirius?
Sirius smiled disdainfully. He and his cousins ??have always been fighting. One is a fanatical supporter of pure-blood, one is married to Lucius Malfoy, and the other is a prideful supporter of pure-bloods.
Regulus will always say about the so-called “pure-blood glory” that his parents brainwashed him. He tried to help his younger brother when he was in school, but he failed.
“I know you very well. By the way, when you see your husband, send my regards to him.”
Bellatrix’s expression became gloomy. She complied with her parent’s wishes and married the eldest son of the Lestrange family despite not knowing him much. Their marriage didn’t go well, and Sirius remarked on it with a sneer.
Lucius poked his cane to the ground when she was about to do something, “Bella, don’t do anything out of the ordinary.”
Her eyes looked at the people around him, “Enjoy your day for now. After all, this is the only fun you will get.”
Lucius moved closer and whispered in the ears of Mr. Weasley and Sirius, “One day, you two will kneel in front of me.”
He lifted his cane, “Let’s go. We shouldn’t be around the Weasleys. Come, Draco.”
Draco quickly followed his father’s pace. Bellatrix raised her head proudly. She walked out of the crowd, glanced at Sean and Hermione, and then left quickly.
Sirius turned around, put his hand on Mr. Weasley’s shoulder, and said, “They’re a bunch of idiots anyway. Also, why did they come for you now, Arthur?”
Mr. Weasley smiled, “I am currently promoting a ban on the illegal use and preservation of dark magic items. If it is passed, the Malfoys will probably lose many of their collections. They have been doing this kind of stuff lately.”
“What an arrogant and stupid guy,” Sirius curled his lips, “Just leave them alone. We should just focus on our things.”
He called Sean and the others, taking advantage of the space squeezed out by the Weasleys and squeezed into the bookstore. In the crowd, Sean and the Weasleys greeted and talked to each other. He forgot whether it was George or Fred, but one of the twins secretly stuffed something into his pocket.
“See this? This is a cockroach bomb, but I can’t use it since many people are here preventing me from doing so. I wanted to throw this thing in that Malfoy’s face, but unfortunately, I can’t.” One of the Weasley twins explained to him.
Sean nodded with a smile and accepted his gift.
Ginny, the youngest child of the Weasley family, was in the middle. She was holding a cauldron with stacks of books inside. Sean took a closer look, and there was no dilapidated second-hand notebook in Ginny’s cauldron.
Sean laughed at himself. He forgot that Voldemort might not be a threat in this world. Whether The Malfoys and Bellatrix are Death Eaters or not is another matter. After all, now Voldemort is just someone who leads a small group of dark wizards now.
It took them a lot of time to buy all the books they wanted. During the period, Lockhart was signing books there, and his smile never stopped. Sean even suspected that he used some magic props to make him smile like that the whole time.
As they returned to the Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid came out of another dark alley and greeted him warmly.
“Hey, the weather is really nice today. What am I doing there? There’s a lot of Flobberworm appearing in the Forbidden Forest, and it’s concerning. I need to buy some insect repellent.”
Hagrid stuffed something into Sean with subtle movements into his bag.
“Professor Dumbledore asked me to give it to you.” He secretly said something to Sean, then greeted him and left.
Sean nodded. After discovering about the letter that brought him to the past memories, he borrowed Hedwig to write a letter to Dumbledore. He described what he knew in the letter. He worried that owls were not safe, but Dumbledore knew about this.
After all, everything was too coincidental. It happened when he went to Godric’s Hollow for the first time, and Sean felt that the thing that Bagshot forgot to give to him was something important.
Sean has always felt that it is better to leave all the problems to someone who could handle it. He thought it was better to let Dumbledore know about all these things.
The reply from Hedwig was simple, just two words, “I see”.
Sean thought that Dumbledore knew it well, but now it seems that he may also feel that the owl is not safe, so Hagrid brought him the letter personally. He touched the package that Hagrid gave him, there seemed to be a piece of parchment inside, and there was something like a gem.
When he returned to Godric’s Hollow, Sean returned to his room and opened the package Hagrid handed him. Inside was a piece of parchment and a smaller cloth bag.
The bag’s opening seemed loose, and the contents rolled onto the bed. It was a big dark red gem with sharp edges and corners, and a flame was still flickering in the center of the gem.
“What is this?” Sean unfolded the parchment suspiciously.
