Chapter 183 Shadmot City

Chapter 183 Shadmot City

"Yawn..."

Opening my eyes slowly, I looked around at my surroundings.

"Yeah, last night... was fun."

Musing to myself, I turned to my side and saw the naked pink-haired girl sleeping with a satisfied smile on her face.

"She is beautiful."

No matter how many times I look at her face, I just can't get enough of it.

Gently stroking her hair, she snuggled in my arms and rested her forehead on my chest.

'She is really handful one.'

Thinking so, I lowered my other hand and touched her navel.

With that much semen I filled inside her, if she wants to, she can get pregnant without any problem.

[You want a child?]

'I already have Zaira, so no for now,' I replied.

Being a mother can have a great effect on one's life, and right now I don't want to burden her or myself with a child.

I may be strong, but I am not strong enough to save her from every threat.

"What are you doing?" she whispered softly as she looked up, catching me caressing her navel.

"I guess you aren't as deeply asleep as I thought you would be," I replied, looking at her as she smiled.

Bringing her lips close to mine, she gently kissed me before placing her hand over mine that was stroking her navel.

"You filled me too much, pervert," she said with a mischievous smile.

"Weren't you the one who always crossed her legs around my waist whenever I was about to—" I started.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just a helpless woman who got taken all night without any rest," she grumbled, faking a sad expression.

"So, I'm the bad guy?" I asked, smiling.

"No, you're the best guy I could ask for," she replied, intertwining her legs with mine and bringing our private parts close.

"Again?" I asked.

"Do you want to?" she asked sneakily, bringing her hand close to my staff.

"No, it's already late in the morning and your sister might lose her mind if we continue doing this even in the day," I replied pecking her lips gently as I stood up from the mattress.

"I want to see her face right now," Nadya replied happily as she stretched her body, leaving her ample breasts naked for me to look at.

"Argh... My back hurts," I grumbled as I stretched my body, feeling intense pain in my back.

"Not my fault," Nadya mumbled as she stood up. "And wear something properly before walking out. Stop trying to seduce my sister all the time."

"I'm not seducing her," I grumbled as I put on a simple shirt and pants before moving out of the tent.

"You don't even need to do that because of your face... Just stay a little away from her," Nadya replied as she stood up.

"Yeah, yeah, I will," I replied as I moved out. As soon as I walked out, my eyes immediately fell on the girl sitting outside of her tent.

"Hello," I waved my hand awkwardly as I walked towards her.

She glared at me with a slight blush on her face as soon as I came close, her eyes red from sleeplessness and dark circles under her eyes.

"Coffee?" I took out a cup of cold coffee from my inventory and offered it to her.

"Thanks," she grumbled softly as she took it from me.

With that, I moved towards the door that we found yesterday.

"Let's get this done with," I mumbled to myself as I knelt down before starting to carefully read all the letters written on the door.

"Hmm, good morning sister," Nadya chirped as she emerged from the tent.

"Sister," Elysia replied, her voice tinged with resentment as she glared at her sister.

"Hmm? Why do you have dark circles, sister? Did you not sleep well?" Nadya asked innocently, tilting her head.

"No, sister, I slept peacefully," Elysia replied with a forced smile.

"Good for you, sister. Eden didn't let me sleep a wink last nig—"

Crack...

Her words halted as the cup Elysia was holding cracked.

"Oh my, I know you are an aura user as well, but please don't be a brute, sister," Nadya said gently, covering her smile with her hand.

"...How are you going to open the door, Eden?" Ignoring her, Elysia asked, looking at me.

"...I need to speak all the words written on the door to open it while transferring mana into that word.," I replied as I looked back at the door.

".... Isn't that too easy?" Nadya asked.

".... It's not when there is literally an entire book written on it," I replied, glancing at her.

"So how are you going to do it?" Elysia asked.

"...I have my ways," I replied, "it will take some time though."

"Good, then I will make something to eat for all of us," Nadya replied, smiling as she took out cooking utensils.

'Edda.'

[On it.]

'Glad you are useful for once.'

[...I will take that as a compliment.]

"Both of you ready?" I asked as I held the doorknob, glancing at them.

Both of them were wearing battle attire, with Nadya in a pink-colored one and Elysia in a black-colored one. They both nodded in response.

"So let's go then," I mumbled, looking at the door, which was glowing with a soft hue of blue all over the place.

Click.

With a soft click, the door opened up as all three of us walked inside.

As soon as we stepped in, I felt goosebumps all over my body. The entire place was shrouded in darkness, even though it was daytime just a few seconds ago.

"Haaah," I exclaimed sharply, trying to shrug off the feeling before I looked back at them.

"You okay?"

Both of them seemed fine, but their faces were a little paler than before.

"Y-yeah."

"I am fine."

I nodded before I looked forward.

And there it was...

A beautiful city turned into ruin, with nature having taken control of the area.

It was a city that only had a little shine to it, with a few buildings crumbled into nothingness.

Several high buildings were still intact, which was in better condition, given that twenty years had passed since its inhabitants were killed.

It was a city built in the hope of starting a new life for an entire race that was close to extinction.

Nonetheless, it was a big city spread over at least a few hundred kilometers of area.

"Shadmot, the city of blood beasts," I mumbled as I looked around.

"Blood beasts?" Elysia asked, frowning her brows.

"Yeah... A race that had the ability of blood manipulation of a vampire and the physical body of a wolfkin," I mumbled in reply.

"How?" Nadya asked, giving me an absurd look.

And yeah, it's understandable why she is reacting like that.

One... vampires are extinct long ago, so how can there be a race related to that?

Second... wolf and vampire are almost impossible to combine together.

And then here I am telling them a race like that exist.

"...It wasn't a race that came into this world naturally," I replied, looking at her,

"...It was artificially made by the dark church, and this exact place is where the experiments on them were conducted before they took control of this city."

"So you are saying that an entire new race was made by the dark church?"

"Pretty much."

"And somehow a race with traits of both powerful races got extinct just like that?"

Elysia asked as she tried to use mana, but just as I told them, it wouldn't work.

Using mana here is like lighting a fire in a tsunami.

"...Not entirely true," I mumbled as I looked solemnly at the center of the city.

"What do you mean?" Nadya asked, sensing my seriousness.

AAWOOOO!!!

"The race." As the eerie wail of a pack of wolves drifted through the air, I mumbled, taking out my spear,

"the race wasn't extinct...

...They were turned into monsters."
