She kept Noel and others out of sight, explaining the situation briefly to Abigail.
Abigail was very surprised. “You said Brandon Piers knew about it on the second day after your family’s incident?”
“Yes, that time I was injured in the car. The second young master gave me a leave of absence in name but actually meant for me to adjust my mindset, fearing that I might reveal the situation due to my emotions,” Kelly explained.
“I see.” Abigail hadn’t expected that, on the day Brandon used Teddy to plot against the Piers family’s third uncle, he had such deep intentions.
Not only did he lure the snake out of its hole, but he also tried to provoke Kelly into telling the truth.
He used a stick and then a sweet jujube, ensuring the safety of Kelly’s family and making Kelly wholeheartedly take care of Teddy, without worrying about any other potential risks from a change of caregiver.

However, when Abigail thought that Brandon didn’t even know she was Teddy’s mother, her emotions quickly turned bleak.
Up to now, Abigail hadn’t decided whether to tell Brandon that she was Teddy’s mother.
Previously, when she hesitated, she had no idea how to treat the original host’s child and was even less clear about her future.
But now things were different.
The sorrow she felt upon learning she might lose Teddy that day made Abigail realize that Teddy had already become the one she could never let go of, the baby she wanted to protect for both herself and the original host.
