Chapter 828: Once Upon A Time On Kana’s Mountain
On a peak next to Kana's mountain, the sect master shivered in fear as he felt the massive pressure coming from the direction of Kana's house. "What is she doing now!?"
"Should we send a warning for no one to come close to your peak for the time being?" Elder Ning asked. He was having a hard time standing.
"We need to figure out what is going on. I will go…." The sect master knew Elder Ning was unable to get closer to the source of power that was radiating out from Kana's mountain.
"I will go with you." Lord Yong was also feeling the extreme pressure. It was a pressure that was even greater than the old man who showed up before.
The sect master nodded his head in response before looking back at Elder Ning. "Bar all elders and disciples from coming to my mountain or anywhere near where the pressure is reaching. Also, close the sect, no one in or out."
"Yes!" Elder Ning quickly turned around and left the immortal cave.
The sect master and Lord Yong made their way over to where Kana was living. They first stopped at where Nana and the other disciples were and found Mei Ling sweeping the stone outside the immortal caves as if it was the most natural thing to do. But what he did not understand was why, why was she unaffected by the strong pressure of coming from next door.
When Mei Ling saw the sect master land in front of her, she smiled, cupped her hands, and bowed her head. "Sect master."
"Mei Ling, are you okay?" The sect master asked.
"Hmmm?" Mei Ling felt confused. She did not understand why she would not be okay. "I feel fine? I have not come down with anything."
"I see…. Sorry to ask, but do you feel nothing at all? No pressure weighing down on you?" The sect master questioned one more, only for Mei Ling to shake her head.
"Nope. I do know Big Sister is releasing the seals on her family's powers, but other than that, I do not sense anything else out of place." Mei Ling answered honestly.
Lord Yong's lips twitched, seeing how calm Mei Ling was under such pressure that it was even hard for him and the sect master to stand upright. His eyes stared at her trying to figure it out, but as his eyes began to peer into Me Ling's soul, he quickly withdrew his senses, his entire body soaked in a cold sweat. "What the hell was that!?"
An eye that did not look human whatsoever had stared back at him, causing him intense fear. He had only seen it for a fraction of a second, but that was all that was needed for him to retreat as quickly as possible.
"Lord Yong?" The sect master was confused as to why Lord Yong suddenly jumped back and looked at Mei Ling in horror.
"We should go back. There is nothing we can do here." Lord Yong replied before turning and running away. He realized a weakling like him did not need to be where the strong resided. He was nothing more than a flea that crawls through the dirt, looking for someone to bite. Just a regular weak flea.
The sect master was very confused as to what just happened, but for it to scare Lord Yong, he decided to retreat as well, just in case.
As for Mei Ling, she looked at their retreating backs in confusion before shaking her head and going back to cleaning.

Earlier….
"Little Ling!" Kana yelled out as she saw Mei Ling cleaning outside.
"Big Sister!" Mei Ling's face bloomed into a smile as she ran over and hugged Kana. "Big sister's strength rose again! Congratulations."
"Mmmmm… Speaking of that, I will be putting a mark on your soul." Kana said with a smile while she patted Mei Ling's head. "It will protect you when you need it the most."
"Okay!" Mei Ling did not hesitate to answer. If her Big Sister wanted to protect her, she would never say no!
Kana smiled as a ghostly hand reached out of her chest with a blackish ball on one of its fingertips. Her ghostly hand pushed into Mei Ling's chest along with the blackish ball. It found her soul, and with a small flick of her fingers, a part of her soul, along with the blackish ball, merged into Mei Ling's soul. "There. From now on, you will always be protected no matter where I am."
"Thank you!" Mei Ling felt touched. Her Big Sister always cared about her safety. But Kana did this for two reasons. One was to protect her in the future, and the other was to keep all pressure she would feel soon from her own home from bothering her at all.
If only Lord Yong knew that the eye he saw was actually Kana's. Maybe he would not have run away as he did.

Present time...
Inside Kana's house, Kana was currently placing the huge orb of divinity in the center of their second floor room, where everyone cultivates. It hovered in the center of the room, right above the floor. "This works out well."
"Mama, it gives off a lot of pressure. Are you sure this won't affect the rest of the sect?" Rain asked,
"Hmmm? Why would it affect the sect? It should be fine…." Kana paused as she suddenly remembered something. "Ahhh! I forgot….. Well…. I will put the barrier up now so it should be fine."
Kana waved her hand and a barrier formed around the second floor. This barrier was not only to keep the divinity from causing any issues outside the sect but also to keep the chaos element she planned to spread throughout the second floor from escaping as well.

Back at the sect master's immortal cave, three people let out long sighs of relief. "We will need to speak to Kana about this later…."
"I fully agree…."
"As do I…."
