Chapter 256 Lyrica and Madis Class Up
Chapter 256 Lyrica and Madis Class Up
Chapter 256 Lyrica and Madi's Class Up
Arriving at the dungeon, Shiro waited for the party to leave the dungeon first since she wasn’t able to join their party mid-way.
Thankfully, she didn’t have to wait long.
"Yo." She smiled and waved her hand.
"Ah hey Shiro, do you have the stuff now?" Madison asked after greeting her.
"Yup. Let’s head inside first." Shiro stood up and partied up with them.
Looking at Silvia’s level, she was rather pleased.
[Silvia LVL 53 Healing Saint]
Despite being a healer, her levelling speed had been quite impressive for her to be able to reach level 53 in the time that she was gone.
It was equivalent to 1 level per day of farming in the dungeons. A feat that would make many adventurers jealous since that kind of levelling speed was hard if you were in an average party.
Since EXP was distributed through contribution, the less party members that you have, the more EXP that you would receive.
Shiro’s levelling speed was a lot faster since she was only in a party of two since Lisandra’s level was synced up to her’s. It was only Yin that was leaching off her efforts now.
"Alright, let’s do this inside the dungeon since it may attract too much attention out here. Plus, I need to tell you something important." Shiro smiled.
Entering the dungeon, she snapped her fingers and encased the entire area in ice so that the monsters couldn’t attack them out of nowhere. Not that it mattered to begin with since Shiro could take care of them easily.
"First off, here are the items that you need. We’ll class you up first." She handed them the items and backed off slightly.
Looking at each other, Lyrica and Madison nodded their heads and activated their class up at the same time.
*BOOM!!!!
Two pillars of light shot up into the air as one was red and the other was black.
Feeling the mana converging towards the both of them, Shiro curved her lips into a smile.
’Judging from the amount of mana being gathered and the phenomenon. It should be at least an A ranked class up.’ Shiro thought with a smile.
However, a golden radiance suddenly appeared within Lyrica’s pillar of light.
’Hidden class?’ Shiro raised an eyebrow in surprise.
’Aren’t hidden classes supposed to be rare? Why the hell are they picking it up like veg from a marketplace.’ She thought as her smile faltered slightly. She was grateful of course but she was confused as to why they were getting hidden classes so ’easily’.
The answer lies in the golden radiance that had fused with the red light. If she knew the source of the light, she’d know what was the catalyst to Lyrica’s change in class.
Narrowing her eyes, she glanced towards the source of the light.
’The necklace!’
The source of the light was in fact the Elven Saint’s Blessing that Lyrica had shown her when they were back in Cairosa. After learning about her background, Shiro knew that the item belonged to Lyrica’s mother but she didn’t know why it sparked a change in her class up.
This also affected Madison as some of the golden radiance merged with her light too.
As their class ups were completed, Shiro quickly checked their stats.
[Lyrica LVL 51 Ascended Blade Dancer]
[Madison LVL 51 Demonic Shield Berserker]
"Ah, I’ve got an S ranked class." Lyrica opened her eyes in surprise.
"Eh~ Lucky you. Mine’s just an A ranked class." Madison replied with a smile.
After their class up, their features were enhanced slightly, much like what happened to Silvia.
Lyrica’s bust had been increased slightly while Madison’s entire physique seemed to have been compressed. Her bosom wasn’t as big as before but it still caused envy to surge from Shiro’s heart.
"So what skills did you two get?" Shiro asked.
"Hm... I’ve got a new berserk skill and a sword skill. The berserk skill is called Ascended Limits and it increases all of my stats by 20% for 5 minutes when activated. Backlash is 60% muscle fatigue and minus 30% stats for 3 days. As for the sword skill, it’s better if I showed you." Lyrica said as she pulled out her sword.
"Shiro, are you able to make me a target?" She asked.
"Sure." Flexing her fingers, she created a reinforced ice dummy.
Taking a deep breath, Lyrica readied her sword and dashed towards the dummy.
"Lock Down." She muttered as her figure flickered for a moment.
Before the party realised it, four doppelgangers slashed against the dummy at the same time, leaving deep cuts all over its body.
"Tada~ She smiled as the doppelgangers faded to mist and dispersed itself.
"My second skill is called Fatal Lock Down. It summons 3 copies of me and attacks the enemy at the same time. The lower their health, the more damage I do to the enemy. It has increased crit chance and crit damage but its base attack is a little low."
Listening to Lyrica’s explanation, Shiro circled her ice dummy and inspected the damage.
Out of the four attacks, the one from the back had almost cut her dummy in half. She speculated that this was the result of a critical hit since the damage was much greater than the other attacks.
"A good skill to take someone off guard. Make sure you reserve it as a trump card or you’re opening attack should their attention be away from you." Shiro smiled.
"Got it." Lyrica nodded.
"What about you Madi?" Shiro asked, turning towards Madison.
"Me? Well I got two tanking skills that reduce damage by the percentage and one berserk skill that massively increases my strength and defence stat." Madison replied.
"How much do they increase?"
"Strength is increased by 50% while defence is raised by 80%. This lasts for 5 minutes and the backlash is somewhat similar to Lyrica’s. For three days, I’ll experience an overall stat decrease of 30% along with muscle fatigue debuff."
"Heh~ Defence increase by 80%. Especially good if a big boss goes into berserk mode. But at the same time, we’ll have to kill it within that 5 minutes or we’ll be in trouble." Shiro nodded.
"Say Shiro, I’ve just realised this but why is your stats much lower than the monster in the dungeons? Their health and mana are in the tens of millions." Lyrica spoke up.
"Hm? I’m not sure. Probably because I haven’t exactly focused on levelling up my monster title. That and maybe the situation is different. I’m an intelligent monster that’s escaped from the dungeon while they’re copies that are spawned time and time again." Shiro shrugged. No one knew how the dungeons reset but some people have theorised that it may be something similar to a time loop system. The start of the loop is when the monsters are spawned and the end of the loop is when the final boss is killed. Once that is done, the cycle repeats.
But if this was the case, a new question raised and that was who set up this loop? Was there a higher entity that set up the system for the dungeons to be this way?
Despite her curiosity, Shiro didn’t focus too much on it since to her, it was just a waste of time for now. Rather than seeking out an answer that she had no use for and couldn’t do anything about, she’d rather use her time to develop new weaponry.
"Well setting that aside, I’ve managed to get some earrings that will help us in the elven continent. They have the skill called In Plain Sight and it will disguise your stats. We’ll set your class back to level 50 since that’s what everyone knows and can confirm. This way, the royals wouldn’t know of our true power." Shiro smiled.
"But they have disguise removal formations everywhere. Disguise orbs and similar items are useless." Lyrica frowned in concern.
"Don’t worry about that. This is an orange grade item that was obtained from a reliable source. At worse, we’ll have to fight our way out." Shiro shrugged.
"You know that if we’re found out, it’ll be a very serious situation right? Don’t make it sound like a street fight." Madison massaged her eyes tiredly.
"Well there’s only so much that we can do. We can’t prepare for everything so we can only take what we can get." Shiro shrugged.
"You’re right." Madison nodded.
"Hence why we’ll all be training intensely for the next day. We should have around 30 hours till they arrive give or take. Which means a month’s worth of training time for you." Shiro grinned sadistically.
Since everyone in the party could kill monsters of a higher level it meant their power output as a party would be huge. With their power output, they should be able to breeze through a high level dungeon.
Seeing her smile, all three of them shivered and paled.
"It’s going to be a fun 30 hours~"
