MY SUGAR MUMMY IS A BEAUTIFUL VAMPIRE

Chapter 212: Saving Dumphries

Chapter 212: Saving Dumphries

Despite her desire to join the fight, Rose knew that her first priority was the safety of her unborn child.

As she paced restlessly around the confines of the castle, the sounds of battle raging outside filled her ears.

With each passing moment, her anxiety grew, her instincts urging her to take action. She knew that she couldn't simply sit idly by while Damien faced the Dhampirs alone, but the thought of putting her unborn child in harm's way was a risk she couldn't bear to take.

But as the screams from the surrounding houses grew louder, a sense of dread washed over her, her instincts screaming at her to intervene.

With a determined resolve, she made her way to the window, as she peered out to see what was going on.

And there, in the midst of the chaos, she saw Damien ruthlessly carving his way through the Dhampirs, his icy blade flashing in the dim light as he dispatched his foes with cold efficiency.

Despite the odds stacked against him, none of the Dhampirs could lay a hand on him, their attacks thwarted by his unmatched skill and strength.

As Damien unleashed his icy powers upon the Dhampirs, he performed feats of skill and prowess that left even Rose in awe.

With a flick of his wrist, he conjured swirling cyclones of ice that enveloped his enemies, freezing them in their tracks before shattering them into a thousand pieces with a single strike of his blade.

The air around him crackled with frost as he moved with lightning speed, his movements fluid and precise as he danced amidst the chaos.

But Damien's abilities were not limited to mere offense. With a wave of his hand, he created walls of ice that rose up from the ground, shielding himself and his allies from the onslaught of the Dhampirs' attacks.

The walls shimmered with an otherworldly glow, deflecting blows and turning aside wavy arrows as if they were nothing more than mere toys.

As the battle raged on, Damien's powers only seemed to grow stronger, his control over the elements becoming more masterful with each passing moment. He summoned icy spikes from the ground, impaling his enemies with deadly precision, their cries of pain echoing through the castle as they fell before him.

But perhaps the most awe-inspiring display of Damien's abilities came when he called forth a blizzard from the heavens, the icy winds swirling around him in a tempest of fury.

With a roar of defiance, he unleashed the full force of the storm upon the Dhampirs, freezing them in their tracks and leaving them helpless before his onslaught.

As Rose watched the chaotic battle unfold before her, her keen ears picked up a familiar voice amidst the chaos of screams and clashes. It was a whimper, barely audible over the din of battle, but to Rose, it was unmistakable.

Turning quickly, her heart pounding with dread, Rose's eyes scanned the scene until they fell upon the source.

It was Dumphries, the one person who was nice to her in all of the ciry.

He was surrounded by Dhampirs, their twisted forms looming over him like dark shadows in the night.

Her breath caught in her throat as she watched in horror as the Dhampirs took turns inflicting harm upon him.

Without a second thought, Rose knew she had to act. Ignoring the danger that lurked outside, she rushed to Dumphries' aid, her heart pounding with determination as she prepared to face the Dhampirs head-on.

As Rose rushed towards the gate, she was met with the stern gaze of the guards stationed there.

"I'm sorry but we can't let you go out there, by order of the lord " One of them explained.

"I believe when he was leaving, he said you shouldn't allow anyone to enter and not to walk out, right?" Rose reminded them, her tone tinged with urgency. She had been listening with very keenly to Damien's move even all the way from his chamber.

The guards exchanged uncertain glances, torn between their loyalty to Damien and their concern for Rose's safety.

After a moment of hesitation, one of them spoke up. "But... My ....," he began, his voice hesitant. "We can't just let you go out there alone. It's too dangerous."

Rose met their gaze with steely resolve, impatience evident in her eyes. "I can handle myself," she insisted, her voice leaving no room for argument.

The guards knew how much Damien cared for Rose. They imagined how he would react should he return and find something had happened to her.

Then again, the aura coming off of Rose now was not one they wanted to deal with. After all they were only knights and she was a lord. With that alone, they knew that she was more than capable of taking care of herself. With a nod of understanding, they stepped aside, their trust in Rose to protect herself for their sakes as they allowed her to pass through the gate.

As Rose approached the battle area, her heart clenched with dread at the sight of the Dhampirs brutalizing Dumphries. The fury that ignited within her was a roaring inferno, driving her to take immediate action to save her friend.

With a primal roar of defiance, Rose leaped into action, her hands crackling with dark energy as she summoned small black fireballs.

Each orb of flame danced at her fingertips, pulsating with raw power as she aimed them at the approaching Dhampirs, who had now noticed her presence and turned their attention towards her.

The Dhampirs hesitated for a moment, taken aback by Rose's sudden display of power. But their hesitation was short-lived as they lunged forward, their eyes burning with bloodlust as they sought to silence this new threat.

But Rose was ready for them. With a flick of her wrist, she unleashed the fireballs, sending them hurtling towards the Dhampirs with deadly accuracy. The flames exploded upon impact, engulfing the Dhampirs in a whirlwind of black fire, their screams of agony echoing through the night.

But Rose was not done yet. With a anger burning in her eyes, she charged forward, her fists blazing with dark energy as she unleashed a flurry of punches on any Dhampir in her way. She had intentionally not want to exact too much of her strength baring in mind that she had a child growing inside her.

But seeing someone whom amongst everyone else stood for her and showed her kindness get assaulted, she couldn't contain her anger and bloodlust.

With each strike, she felt the satisfaction of justice coursing through her veins, driving her onwards in her quest to protect those she held dear.

As the Dhampirs were completely cleared, their bodies charred and broken, Rose turned to Dumphries with a weary smile.

"You're safe now," she said, her voice filled with relief as she helped him to his feet.
