Chapter 451 - Mu Qing’s Decision
Chapter 451: Mu Qing’s Decision
Shangguan Ning understood that getting more worried was not going to solve the problem.
She was just very displeased that Zhao Anan was being too capricious. When she was found, she was definitely going to be given a good lesson!
“Zheng Jing, expand the scope of searching, go beyond A City and try the neighbourhood city as well. Tell me if you need any more men. I will collaborate with your team.”
Zheng Jing nodded seriously, “Okay, we will expand the scope!”
Jing Yichen turned to Mu Qing. “You head to the UK tomorrow, join Tiger. The situation there is different and it would be difficult to hide whatever happens. Most of the time, they would need your medical skills. Judging from what Zheng Lun said, Anan most likely might be in the UK. Keep trying there.”
Mu Qing nodded with a pair of red eyes.
His heart felt as if it had been ripped open, causing enormous pain.
He understood that he couldn’t live with Zhao Anan, but what he had not foreseen was that after losing her, he would be tormented this badly.
Only now did he realize why Jing Yichen went so crazy and broke down when Shangguan Ning went missing the other day.
Even a strong man like Jing Yichen could not keep himself from killing when he found Shangguan Ning missing!
Mu Qing wasn’t the kind to kill anyone. He was different from Jing Yichen.
Jing Yichen used to live a dark life earlier, and that was why his lethal personality was formed. It was normal for him to want to kill someone. He could be very cruel sometimes.
But Mu Qing had grown up in a pretty healthy environment. He had a harmonious family and his parents loved each other. His cousins gave each other helping hands and the senior people took great care of the younger generation. Although Mu Wensheng had a relatively bad temper and whipped at him with bamboo strap, forcing him to study all kinds of complicated medical skills, yet compared to the hell like training conducted by Jing Zhongxiu, his grandpa had given him a paradise.
That was why he had been an outgoing man who had no shadows inside his heart and was living a simple and happy life.
Mu Qing had helped save many lives. That was his responsibility and mission.
He might mess around with Jing Yichen sometimes but he never took anyone’s life.
But when Zhao Anan was missing, he couldn’t even conduct an operation.
As soon as he caught sight of blood, he would get unusually furious and would want to stab the sharp operation knife into the heart of the patient.
Mu Qing knew that before Zhao Anan was found, he would probably not be able to touch the operation knife any more.
He just couldn’t imagine the scene when Zhao Anan was bearing enormous pain somewhere in the world when he was fixing a patient. Maybe her blood was shed, maybe she was at the edge of despair.
Mu Qing was thronged with hatred in the beginning.
He wanted to teach her a good lesson when she was found.
But he stopped thinking like that anymore. As long as Zhao Anan could return safely and didn’t leave again, Mu Qing would forgive her without hesitation.
What he hoped was that she could return safe and really soon.
Mu Qing firmly believed that he could find her. It was time to go to the UK.
According to Jing Yichen’s report about Yang Muyan, she should not have done anything to Zhao Anan. She had been too busy dealing with the bomb which Jing Yichen tossed her way to care about anything else.
Also, no one knew that Mu Qing had actually visited Yang Muyan.
He had been desperate to know about Zhao Anan, so he straightforwardly asked Yang Muyan if she had captured Zhao Anan.
Yang Muyan denied it.
Mu Qing had held Yang Muyan’s hands when he was asking her the question. Yang Muyan looked quite cheerful because Mu Qing was willing to touch her.
But Mu Qing only wanted to feel Yang Muyan’s pulse to see if she was lying.
He was familiar with everything about the human body after being a doctor for so long. But he had also picked up the skill of distinguishing lies from truth from Zheng Jing in recent times.
Judging from Yang Muyan’s look, the movement of her pupils and pulse, Mu Qing was 90% sure that Yang Muyan was not lying.
Unless Yang Muyand had gone through extreme training like an agent, she would not have succeeded in lying to Mu Qing.
Although Mu Qing didn’t know Yang Muyan well, judging from their few interactions she would not bother to lie about what she did.
Maybe that was what geniuses were like. They never lied about what they had done, instead they were proud about their accomplishments.
Yang Muyan was stubborn and an extremist, but she had come to hospital last time and told Mu Qing that she was going to marry him bluntly.
If she had caught Zhao Anan, she would have been straightforward about it.
As long as Yang Muyan didn’t interfere, Mu Qing was relatively assured.
Although his heart ached badly, he was not desperate.
The following day, Mu Qing asked his cousin Mu Tong to take over the Family Mu’s Hospital for the time being.
Mu Tong had a nickname of “Wooden Barrel”. Just as his name indicated, he was bloated and had a look of a wealthy man.
He had inherited the traditional medical knowledge of Family Mu and was the firmest protector and promotor of Chinese medicine. Despite him being a famous doctor, he didn’t care much about being healthy.
He liked meat and never controlled himself while eating. That was why he had gotten so chubby.
But he was a chubby man with an open mind.
He knew that his outstanding cousin was out looking for his girl, so he supported him without hesitation.
“Brother Three, go for it. All of us cousins can take care of the hospital. The hospital would function well, it is our responsibility, too! Don’t worry, when you and sister-in-law return, I will give the hospital back to you, intact.”
Mu Qing gave a big hug to his cousin and then went on the journey towards the UK, looking for the woman who lived in his heart.
Before he boarded the plane, Mu Wensheng called Mu Qing and bellowed at him, forbidding Mu Tong to take over the hospital and ordering him to return immediately.
Mu Qing was feeling rather guilty. He had been dreaming about inheriting grandpa’s skills and becoming a doctor who exceeded his grandpa.
But before that he needed to do this.
He knew that both grandpa and the hospital would always be there in one year, two years, five years or ten years, but his Anan was nowhere.
He was going to get her back and never let her leave his side again.
