Level Up: Voidwalker

Chapter 174: This Is Beautiful

Chapter 174: This Is Beautiful

Atlas watched the Hill Giant roar as it raised its remaining arm, which held its club. He quickly cast Void Lance, which slammed against the monster's elbow, causing it to drop the weapon and crash to the ground.

'Here we go,' he thought with an excited smile. 'I can end this fight now,'

After that, he ordered Medusa and Theo to attack the boss. He blew away the smaller giants with his azure flames that tried to get in his way and scanned a surviving monster using Void Sight to determine the rank.

[Giant Warrior]

[Chaos Touched]

[Rank: A - 1000 Exp]

[Use your speed and speed]

Atlas took a deep breath, his senses sharpened as he processed the advice. Without hesitation, he dashed forward, his twin blades humming with the deadly energy of Void Infusion.

Each step was a blur as he tore through the ranks of the Giant Warriors, slicing effortlessly through flesh and bone as if they were mere paper.

The hulking boss roared in frustration, its massive foot crashing down toward Atlas. But with a flicker of movement, he vanished, using Void Step to reappear just out of reach. He landed gracefully, barely a heartbeat, before charging his swords with Void Bullet.

'Nearly ready now.'

Without slowing down, Atlas sprinted toward the boss's remaining arm as it swung in a desperate attempt to crush him. He darted between the strikes with a determined gleam in his eyes as he closed in for the final blow.

As the Hill Giant attacked again, Atlas moved with calculated precision. He hurled both swords at the beast's head, each blade slicing through thick flesh before detonating in an explosion.

The massive creature stumbled back, dazed but still standing. Atlas's eyes narrowed as he whispered, "You're dead now."

Without wasting a second, he sprinted toward the injured giant, summoning his swords back into his hands with a flicker of energy. His focus was unwavering as he launched toward the creature's eyes, narrowly avoiding a massive fist as it tried to swat him out of the air.

He shifted mid-flight with a Void Blast, altering his trajectory to land on the giant's arm. Atlas sprinted up the arm's length, his feet barely touching the creature's rough skin as he prepared for the final blow.

'Now lets show Chaos why they should fear me,' he thought with an excited smile.

Void energy crackled through his Nightblade, the power building with every step. With a fierce cry, he leaped toward the giant's head, driving his blade deep into its skull. The Void Bomb detonated with a thunderous boom.

The force sent Atlas flying through the air, but a screech rang out as Theo swooped down and caught him in his claws. Medusa burrowed underground, and the explosion wiped out all the Chaos Monsters.

Once the explosion settled, Atlas retrieved 127 glowing purple cores, gold coins, and potions alongside a gold boss token, which caught his attention. He then scanned the token for any helpful information.

[Blackthorne Hills Gold Boss Token – Level Three Dungeon]

'My first gold token. At least I have proof I completed it,' Atlas thought with a smile.

While doing that, a man's voice sounded in his mind,' Dungeon Conquerer! You freed me from that vile Chaos, they nearly achieved in converting me to their side but thanks to your assistance I survived.'

A portal opened, causing Atlas to step through it after dismissing his monsters. He appeared in front of the Dungeon Core, which he touched as the voice spoke again, 'It will be good to work with you. I hope I'm able to help you.'

Atlas nodded as he connected with it and felt the Blackthorne Hills join the other in the Dungeon Ream. When that happened, the voice revealed, 'I will send you a list of the monsters available to you now, Master.'

Confused, he shrugged while replying in a grateful tone, 'Thanks for the help.'

Once he spoke, a portal opened nearby, leading to the dungeon entrance. Atlas stretched his arms before checking his status.

'Its slowing down but I got a big boost to my attributes,' he thought before stepping through the portal.

Atlas reappeared at the entrance and entered the fort, only to see it destroyed. Corpses littered the ground, causing him to wonder, 'What happened here?'

He glanced around, only to notice that claws made the wounds on the bodies while the footprints were humanoids. Then, Atlas left the fortress behind and saw black smoke billowing across the landscape.

'War maybe?' he thought while glancing around.

When Atlas saw that, he summoned Theo and climbed onto the monster's back before it took off and started flying west. He looked below and noticed villages burning as a battle was going on.

Soldiers in white armor were battling ones in black in a blood-filled field. When Atlas saw this, he wondered what had happened but soon ignored it as he saw a few more battlefields.

Theo flew for a full day and still hadn't crossed the Nivaria Continent engulfed in a brutal war. During their flight, Atlas noticed that the Dawnstar army was pushing the Shadowrealm invaders back.

This made him laugh as it was a back-and-forth. Soon enough, the Blood Bat King said, 'I need to eat, Master. There is a mountain nearby that I will leave you before going to find food.'

Atlas watched as the monster landed on a ledge isolated from the chaos below. He jumped off Theo's back as the creature took off once again to hunt while he started setting up his tent and making a fire.

'This is peaceful. I do love times like this.'

Once he finished setting everything up, which took ten minutes, Atlas shot a Void Blast, creating a roaring fire that lit up his ledge—following that, he pulled out a Forest Boar Meat Boc before eating while watching the landscape.

He quickly noticed raging fires miles away, which caused him to think, 'Must be a city under siege. It's shame I'm not close, I could of got a lot of experience.'

Atlas shook his head and finished his meal. Theo crashed down while holding a dinosaur-looking monster that the bat started eating while resting. Once he was done eating, he crawled into the tent and sleeping bag.

While lying there, Atlas summoned the Void Realm, his consciousness instantly shifting to the Level Three Plateau. The ground trembled as an army of Golems marched toward him, their heavy footsteps echoing.

But this time, he was ready. With countless hours of practice behind him, Atlas effortlessly unleashed a barrage of Void Bombs and Void Bullets. The deadly energy tore through the advancing stone creatures, shattering them into dust.

Atlas continued attacking before getting into a fight with several Void Warrior Golems that appeared from the swarm of monsters. He continued spamming magic that wiped away dozens of creatures in a tsunami of azure flames.

After an hour of continuous fighting, the Void Golems appeared to slow down, allowing him to check on the monster's total.

[Void Golem – 862637/1000000]

[Void Warrior Golem – 491506/500000]

[Void Golem Commander – 99510/100000]

'It's going down, but I wish the girls were here,' Atlas mused. 'It would go down even faster with their help.'

A dozen Warrior Golems and their Commanders charged toward him, their hulking forms closing on him fast. Atlas moved quickly, dodging the slow but crushing blows they aimed at him.

With a sharp focus, he cast Void Infusion, his blades now crackling with dark energy as they sliced through solid stone like it was paper. One strike against a Golem Commander's leg was all it took—his blade made contact, and the creature exploded into rubble.

He followed up with a devastating Void Bomb, reducing the remnants to dust. Atlas kept up the relentless assault, combining swordplay with magic until his mana reserves were finally drained.

Just as he was catching his breath, a stronger Golem caught him off guard, its massive fist slamming into him with bone-crushing force. Atlas was sent back to the real world with a yelp as he woke up in the tent.

Once his head stopped spinning, he brought up the monster total to see how many he killed this time.

[Void Golem – 860013/1000000]

[Void Warrior Golem – 491306/500000]

[Void Golem Commander – 99456/100000]

[Void Golem King – 1/1]

After the battle, Atlas reclined on his sleeping bag, gazing through the window in the tent's wall. Despite the distant roar reverberating through the mountain, he remained unfazed, his exhaustion overtaking him.

Soon, the rhythmic rise and fall of his breathing indicated that he had slipped into a deep, restful sleep. Theo's cheerful chirp pierced his dreams the following morning, rousing Atlas from his slumber.

Atlas stretched with a hearty yawn before crawling out of the tent, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. He was greeted by a stunning blue sky stretching endlessly above. As he took in the serene morning, he spotted Theo perched by the edge, patiently waiting for him.
