Chapter 160: Ready To Fight Master
Chapter 160: Ready To Fight Master
The storm continued to lash the campsite for two days, but by the third day, it had calmed down before the caravan leader, Robert, called out to everyone, informing them that they were ready to leave for Starfallen City.
'Thank the gods that the storm has stopped,' he thought with a smile. 'I was getting bored hanging out in the tent.'
Atlas was fast asleep in the tent, but the adventurer Joel introduced himself the night before. He climbed out of his sleeping bag while equipping all his gear and stepped out into the cold air.
While doing that, he checked the Void Realm Total and his status to see how many monsters he had to kill.
[Void Golem – 900014/1000000]
[Void Warrior Golem – 495734/500000]
[Void Golem Commander – 99910/100000]
[Void Golem King – 1/1]
'I've taken out a lot of Void Golems, but its dragging on now,' Atlas mused while checking on his armor.
After that, he pulled up his status to see what he had gained from fighting all the stone monsters.
[Health: 1340?1380(200)]
[Mana: 6134?6474(1000)]
[Strength: 1502?1590(100)]
[Stamina: 1858?1982]
[Charisma: 642?660]
[Intelligence: 1234?1280]
'At least my attributes are increasing when I fight in the Void Realm, which is worth all the trouble,' Atlas thought before packing away his tent as Joel and one of his wives, Aeloria, approached.
The human male smiled as he spoke, ''Azhar'Zul, I love your armor. It suits you well.''
Atlas glanced at the older man, ''Thanks, Joel. It has been advantageous since I bought it from Volantis City a while back.''
''The Argonian sea city?''' Aeloria questioned with a friendly smile.
He nodded before answering, ''Yes. I constantly got hurt during battles, so my girls asked me to buy armor.''
When Joel heard this, his smile grew wider, ''Girls? Where are they?''
''Traveling north while I'm traveling to the Nubian Capital on Aridonia to heal a friend from soul damage before meeting them,'' Atlas told the couple about part of his journey.
Joel and Aeloria exchanged smiles with him before returning to their tasks. Atlas, however, paused and asked, ''Where's the nearest dungeon?''
The older elf woman, Aeloria, rubbed her chin thoughtfully before replying, ''There's a Level One dungeon about a mile north of Starfallen City. It's a tough one, though, filled with Dark Element Monsters that make it more challenging than most Level One dungeons.''
Atlas nodded and thanked the older couple as Theo spoke in his mind, 'Master. Dark monsters are tough to fight with the light element.'
He chuckled before raising his hand and activating the skill Light in response, which lit up his surroundings, causing the Blood Bat King to chuckle as it replied, 'Good Master. This should deal with the annoying creatures.'
Following that, Atlas and the caravan continued through the Death Hills. While traveling, he felt the monsters following them in the shadows, causing him to approach the older man and inform him of their stalkers, "Joel. There are a few dozen creatures stalking up from the shadows. I think they're waiting to ambush us."
When Aeloria and the other two women looked worried, Atlas returned to his position after Joel thanked him. While standing there, something told him to be ready to fight before he started dodging large spears that landed around him.
Atlas started deflecting the attacks while rushing after the monsters as Theo pleaded, which caught his attention, 'Summon me Master! We must fight together.'
''Fuck it, I'll just say Im a tamer,'' he muttered while activating the Dungeon Conquerer Skill and summoned the Blood Bat King, who let out a terrifying roar as the monsters attacked the caravan.
As chaos erupted along the narrow path through the Death Hills, the caravan guards and adventurers formed a defensive circle around the carriages. Amidst the battle, Theo swooped down from above, grabbing Atlas by the shoulders and dropping him right into the heart of the fray.
Landing gracefully, Atlas sprang into action, moving with the speed and agility of a jackrabbit, leaping, dodging, and cutting down monsters with swift slash across their legs, allowing him to thrust the Nightblade through their skull.
Thanks to Void Infusion, his blades are carved through flesh and bone, strengthening his attacks. While Atlas fought, Theo guarded his back and tore apart any creepy, Warewolf-looking creatures.
Atlas cut down three before using Void Sight as the battle raged around him, and the other adventurers and guards fought back.
[Nighthowler]
[Rank: D - 300 Exp]
[Cursed monsters who ambush travelers]
'Not to hard to deal with,' Atlas thought while waving his hand to summon a dozen Savage Void Bears that started fighting alongside him.
He dodged the razor-sharp claws and jagged teeth that tried to tear him apart. Atlas quickly turned around when he felt a large Nighthowler lunge at him, but suddenly, Theo crashed into its body and crushed it before tearing its head off.
This made Atlas grin before stabbing another monster through its head just as a group of Void Bears washed over the remaining creatures while they used their spears to stab into the giant monsters.
Atlas watched most of his bears die, but they still managed to take out dozens of Nighthowlers. He saw the caravan guards using fire to drive the monsters back as the adventurers cut them down.
The battle soon died down, allowing him to dismiss his monsters. Joel appeared in front of him with an amazed expression as he spoke, ''You're a Monster Summoner, Azhar'Zul?''
He nodded while cleaning off his blades, covered in monster blood, ''Yes. Father taught me when I was younger.''
Joel smiled as a horn echoed through the hills, signaling the attackers' retreat. The caravan leader, Robert, quickly called out, ''Everyone, get ready to move! We need to be on the road before those monsters strike again!''
The guards and adventurers scrambled to their positions, preparing for another possible wave as the caravan began to mobilize. Atlas watched the healers go around and help the injured warriors, and this fascinated him.
'Estelle does the same thing but her healing is much better,' he pondered as an hour passed and they got back on the road.
Atlas followed behind after grabbing twenty green Monster Cores from the Nighthowlers he killed during the battle.
[Level Up: 163?164]
[Experience: 4940/5000]
[Experience Gained: 6000]
[Core Points: 37620/50000]
[Core Points Gained: 5000]
Following that, the caravan was lucky not to encounter any more monsters, but it would still take another day to travel through the Death Hills. They reached a clearing between the hills, their last stop before reaching Starfallen City.

Robert told them to set up security before the sunset, but Atlas noticed the other adventurers and guards avoided him, 'Why are they acting like I'm a demon?'
Joel and Aeloria approached him with concerned expressions, causing the older elf woman to warn him, ''Some of them believe you're the Koschei because the stories speak of the last one able to control dungeon monsters.''
Atlas rolled his eyes before chuckling as he answered the worried elf, ''I'm used to it and don't care what they think about me. I'm here to do my rank-up test, or I would have flown the Starfallen City.''
Aeloria nodded in agreement as Joel flashed a broad smile and said, "Even if you are the Koschei, you've shown yourself to be a decent adventurer by helping out the others."
Afterward, the guards began setting up the Runes while Atlas prepared his camp at a distance from the adventurers. Once his tent was pitched, he started a fire and cooked meat while dismissing his helmet.
"Even on a distant continent far from Asotria, I still find myself collecting new names," Atlas muttered with a quiet laugh.
As the mouthwatering aroma reached Atlas's nose, his stomach rumbled. He began eating while watching the sun dip below the horizon. Though he remained vigilant, noting the absence of monsters in the encroaching darkness, he allowed himself to relax.
After finishing his meal, Atlas let out a hearty yawn, the fatigue of the day beginning to settle over him as he climbed into his tent and got comfortable before falling asleep as the camp settled down.
The night passed without any problems, and Joel's voice woke him up the following day, ''Azhar'Zul! Wake up, boy. We're about to leave for the city.''
When Atlas heard this, he climbed out of his tent, put it back into storage, and followed the caravan while waking up properly. As they left the Death Hills behind, he spotted several riders heading in their direction.
'What's going on now?' he pondered while summoning his armor.
As they arrived at the front of the caravan, Joel rushed up, but Atlas stayed behind and ignored them while glancing around the quiet grasslands. He squinted his eyes only to spot black smoke in the distance.
'Somethings been destroyed,' he pondered as the caravan started panicking.
Atlas noticed the fear etched on the faces of the guards and adventurers around him. Tension hung in the air like a storm about to break. When Joel reappeared, his expression was grim as he delivered the news.
A monster wave was approaching fast. "We need to move—now! Head for the city before it's too late," he urged, his voice filled with urgency.
But when Atlas heard this, a smile appeared as Theo's voice echoed in his mind, 'Ready to fight Master?'
