Chapter 28: Attack of Voldemort-2
"Ron! .... Nooo..." Looking at dying Ron on the floor, he ran towards him.
It was at this moment when Voldemort was inches away from Harry, the headmaster, professors and Aurors attacked him at the same time.
Harry was focused on Ron and he didn't notice the wand pointed at him by Voldemort.
"Avada Ke..." Before Voldemort could finish the killing curse and hit Harry Potter, he was hit by multiple spells. From stunning curse to faint curse.
Quirrell whose body was controlled by Voldemort fell like a statue towards Harry Potter and Harry unconsciously tried to push him away. At the moment his hand touched Quirrell's body, his whole body started crumbling down like a broken piece of stone.
In front of shocked Aurors and Professors, Quirrell's body disintegrated and flew away like dust particles while a scary dark cloud representing Voldemort's soul rushed towards the main castle door.
With a loud painful cry, the soul of Voldemort escaped the grounds of Hogwarts and rushed inside the Forbidden Forest.
Inside the main hall and the area around it, one could see crying students, some were injured very badly while some had slight bruises, some were hiding under the table, scared, while some were hiding in corners. There were also many students who ran outside the castle to protect themselves but when they saw the ' screaming ghost' coming outside the main door, they panicked and ran separately.
It was the sight of chaos, panic and fear. Neville along with his friends was standing just outside the main door. He saw Voldemort's main soul rushing outside from the castle and knew it was finally safe inside.
One part of him wanted to chase that broken soul but he knew he had no curse or a spell or any potion that could work against a spirit. Soul magic was as rare as time and space magic. There were hardly any spells that were known in this field and a few that could injure a soul were already part of unforgivable.
Taking one last look, he pulled Dean and Seamus closer.
"Let's go. Dean, you find the injured ones in right and Seamus you go for the left. Bring them all to the infirmary. No matter what house as long as they are the first year. Use floating spells to move the injured ones.
I will be back in a few minutes. Remember, help all students no matter what house."
Shouting some instructions, Neville rushed towards the owl shed. He knew possible consequences that his actions could bring and large scale mayhem was always a part of it. Hence he had instructed his elves to purchase bone healing potions, bone growing potions and pain-numbing potions etc. in large quantities from global stores.
Because of his relations with Potion Guild, he could not buy them locally but this didn't matter to him. Spending a few more coins will matter less than the incident of Voldemort attacking Harry Potter inside Hogwarts.
A few minutes later, his owl reached Hogsmeade and the shopkeeper there read the letter.
"Emergency Medical situation! Order house elves to transport all potions and first aid materials to Hogwarts."
Reading the short and scary letter, the shopkeeper used the floo channel to come inside the guest room in Longbottom's manor. Just after getting out, he was welcomed by the beautifully dressed elf and he shared Neville's letter with her. Winny looked at the letter and hurried towards the main house.
"Silvi and Dufus. Come here!" Winny shouted loudly.
"Silvi is here Winny. Silvi is here."
"Dufus is not late either!"
The two elves just appeared a second later and then Winny fixed their new bow tie. Her assistants were still not comfortable wearing clothes. Anyway, focus on the main thing.
"Go grab the medicines we bought for master. He needs them urgently. Take them directly to Hogsmeade. Do you remember the secret path by the cellar of the candy store?" Winny asked them and in response both nodded vigorously.
"Good. Use the secret passage and go directly to Hogwarts. In case the kitchen elves create an issue, let them know you are following the master's order and bringing help. You are not a thief or intruder. Understood?"
Winny confirmed again and then sent her assistants to Hogwarts. She would have gone too however master Neville stated clearly that one elf must be present inside the house to protect the family and do the daily chores.
She could only bless her assistants and then she went back to the shopkeeper to thank him for his service along with cold juice and snacks to show her manners.
-----Hogwarts------
After Neville sent the letter, he went towards the kitchen area instead of the infirmary. Then he called all the elves and requested their help. Dean and Seamus were carrying one injured Hufflepuff girl on a floating bench. They were the first to take action to help other students while even the seniors were pissing their pants in fear.
Like the brave soldiers on a battlefield, they continued in this way and then Neville and Elves joined them. Thanks to their magic, a large number of injured students started floating in the area and were carried to the infirmary in an ordered manner.
Neville stood on top of the table and used the charm "Sonorus".
Speaking loudly, he said "Everyone please calm down. Stop crying. There are many students who are injured around you. Please carry them towards the infirmary. Use the floating charm for the ones who can't walk and do this in proper order.
Remember, we may have four houses but only one single school."
Speaking like a mother Teresa, he managed to find injured Slytherin students near him. When he turned his face it was Draco who had a nasty bump on his head and face. Possibly pushed by seniors and fell on chairs or something. He was bleeding badly and if not rescued, it might be serious.
He carried Draco and moved towards the infirmary. Thinking about his other least fav. Slytherin's friend, he tried to locate Pansy but she was nowhere around him.
Shrugging his shoulders, he carried Draco and one other Ravenclaw student with him.
The actions of Dean, Neville and other Kitchen elves brought the attention of Professors and Aurors to the injured kids in the hall.
Professor Sprout, Professor Flitwick along with Arithmancy's teacher, Professor Septima Vector and Astronomy teacher, Professor Aurora Sinistra came to help the kids. The Aurors also joined in.
Meanwhile, Dumbledore carried the injured Ron himself while Snape brought Harry and Hermione to the infirmary. Professor Minerva McGonagall hurried outside the main door to check the students hiding in other parts of the castle and rescue them from any situation.
Other professors or staff that was not present during the breakfast like Professor Sybill Trelawney or Flying teacher, Madam Rolanda Hooch also came and joined in the rescue process.
