Global Awakening: Monster Taming Necromancer

Chapter 117: What's coming for you

Chapter 117: What's coming for you

Thayer is the richest here tonight and he made sure everyone knew it. Everything he wore was brought back from a very high floor, made from materials that they all envied.

He didn't know the reason for this party exactly. Except for the part that he forced it by spreading rumors for the past two weeks that Lord Ola has gone so broke he couldn't afford a party.

Rumors like that it's not put down can and will affect one's image, especially when you're trying to capture the eyes of investors. Lord Ola is a businessman, even though he's also a rotten-to-the-core bastard of a Cult member.

Thayer didn't want to get involved with the Chaos Cult because they could ruin him, but then, he always liked just a hint of danger in anything he did. That's what attracted him to Litha and Temur, then Jael.

They have that aura of danger around them. The amount he's spent on this case should but a floor. Thayer smiled at his thoughts. Maybe not a floor, but a quarter?

"Lord Thayer?"

The title of 'Lord' in the Tower isn't about royalty; it's an acceptance that the individual is powerful. Or wealthy on such a floor. Thayer Argent is very wealthy and has a powerful Iron of his set.

They know the potential he carries and doesn't want to offend someone who might reach high in the Tower. Or they just simply don't want to piss off an Argent.

"Yes...Lord Owen." Thayer smiled softly at the surprise on the man's face. He's good at that, quickly memorizing people's names and knowing little about them. Especially if he's going to an event, it just makes everything simple. "Are you maybe here about the spatial shelves your company handles...."

Lord Owen relaxed immensely and got into a business mode, trying his best to sell himself. Thayer used that to stop others from coming towards him and to survey the room. His eyes took everyone in, looking for one person in particular.

He didn't know if he was here, and that's what he wanted to find out in the first place. Just where are you Kaelith? He looked towards the head of the room, and his eyes caught someone who stood out in a very not-so-obvious way.

Thayer's father has taught him how to recognize the most important person in the room by reading the tiny details, and with the way this person stood? shoulder thrown back and the way he looked at everyone behind his mask– he's very sure he's found the person he's looking for.

".......and then expand to floor 97." Lord Owen said.

Thayer nodded. "But what if you give me first choice on all your products? In return, I'll always buy at least eighty percent from you. I have the market, see the people who need spatial shelves are people with a lot of coins and I know then."

Lord Owen blinked; he didn't know he'd be able to get such a deal and at the right time, too! But selling the first choice will mean he'll be selling at a discounted price, but that's way better than just having products sitting! "You're such a good busi...."

Thayer patted him on the shoulder. "Send the paperwork to my secretary, we'll inform the legal Guild and draw up a contract. And now if you'll excuse me. I have some products I pre-ordered myself, I'd like to try one out." Continue your journey on ???

"What..." Lord Owen said and watched as Thayer lifted his hand where his Codex stone was with golden light.

He grinned and looked directly at Kaelith. "It's part-time." He scrolled until he found the product —

Pre-ordered: all pre-ordered products will disappear if not used within seven days.

1. Wide area shield: The Undefeated Shield. Immortality has been worked into this spell, and it's guaranteed to stand for at least two hours! Don't worry; even the god of ever-piercing can't destroy this shield!

Ps: if the shield doesn't work and you're still alive, then you can ask for a refund! Ahaha, I'm just joking, There's no refund. You won't need it!

— immediately, he pressed the screen, the shield activated immediately, and an interlocking golden light surrounded the car; the guests didn't s; only Thsaidr saenvelopednvelop everyone.

Off course, Kaelith knew, and the two other silver ranks in the room were also aware, but they probably thought it was a security measure.

"Now the hard part. I must protect the most golden and precious thing– my heart." Thayer watched as Kaelith began to make his way towards him.

Litha couldn't sleep, she had a hunch that something might happen today that, something she would not like. She shifted inside the orb.

Looking out, she saw Kaidos, who was glaring at Orb. "What is it again, you Necromancer's dog."

She taunted, this wasn't the first time she'll be doing so. Anytime Kaelith isn't here she'll jab at him until he either stormed off with his gangs or threatened her.

"You'll get what's coming for you soon, bitch! You can't escape it! Once Kaelith is done playing with you, I'll get you in my hands and I won't let you know the end of it!"

And Litha knew he would; this is not an empty threat. "You'll be dead by the time my friends get here."

"Not before we find them first. Look around; even they won't be able to defeat this much, not to talk of Kaelith himself!" Kaidos is surrounded by Awakeners bond to him by blood contract. He also renewed his horde of life forces by forcing the slaves to make a contract with him and then break it.

Litha has been forced to watch everything, and it gets her blood boiling. That was one of the things she held on to in this prison, the anger, the desire to return what was inflicted. She huffed.

"Then you don't know us, we are the most powerful Iron of our set. Even you can't hold a candle....." Litha didn't know if that was the truth, but she knew they were up there.

Suddenly, Kaidos leaped up from his seat, and his eyes darkened. "Someone just trespassed. It's certainly not Kaelith; you two go and bring me the person or their head."

Up above in the orb, Litha's heart began to pound very fast.
