Chapter 273: Moderate
Chapter 273: Moderate
[ Travis: Overlord Clan's stronghold is very far from Sector 5, so there's no conflict of interest. Those near Sector 5 must choose our Drakeheart Vanguard Clan since we have already expanded our territory and cleared 3 Zombie Nests. If you want to reach level 20 before the Boss Raid, you have to consider joining us. ]
[ Lancelot: There's still several weeks before the Boss Raid. But if you join us, you will reach level 20 in just a week. We have access to 5 Zombie Dungeons or Nests or whatever it was called. It will be an easy level-up. ]
[ Eve: Hey… Back to the strange Zombie—does anyone have any theories? Could it be a survivor in disguise? We're still searching for that sneaky Zombie. ]
[ Raze: That's a possibility. But why would a survivor disguise themselves as a zombie? It must be a curse or a talent that he had. ]
[ Natalie: Maybe that disguise is meant to infiltrate zombie hordes or nests? It could be a strategy to gather intel or resources. ]
[ Travis: If that's the case, we need to find out who it is. They could be a valuable ally—or a dangerous enemy. What is your location again? ]
[ Chris: Agreed. Keep an eye out for anyone acting suspiciously or wielding a golden hatchet.

[ Liam: Will do. Let's stay vigilant, everyone. ]
After this topic was concluded, various chats kept coming up…
[ Emma: Does anyone have Healing Salve? We have injured people here. The ones in the Marketplace are worth 80 Zombie Cores each! It's just too much. If someone can suggest another healing item that has similar effects, that would be highly appreciated.
[ Tom: I have some bandages and antiseptics. 5 Zombie Cores each. Search it in the Marketplace. ]
[ Raze: I can sell you Healing Salve… If you buy in bulk, you'll get a discount. Send me a private message. ]
[ Zara: Can anyone help with fortifying our Shelter? We're in Sector 7. We can pay 1 Zombie Core per hour of your work. We need more hands. ]
The Regional Chat buzzed with activity as survivors shared their thoughts and resources.
Of course, even if the topic was already covered by new chats, the leader of the various Clans were still thinking about the strange Zombie that could wield a Golden Hatchet.
After all, the fact that it could one hit kill a Juggernaut Zombie says that its strength or its weapon was definitely not a Master-Grade one. Some of them had already slayed this Juggernaut Zombie and they knew that Master-Grade weapons could only tear through the skin of the Zombie. With that weapon, they needed to attack the Zombie dozens of times to even reach its bones.
"If it's a Zombie, then the first kill reward for that must be very generous." Natalie from the New Haven Clan muttered as she couldn't help but feel curious about this Zombie.
On the other hand, Travis also found this interesting…
"It must be disguised, Survivor… Is it related to Zombie Coat… or maybe Zombie Mask? Is there a Zombie Set that I'm not aware of?" Travis muttered as he recalled Zombie Coat and Zombie Mask appearing in his Survivor Store. However, after trying them, they are able to provide a decent disguise against fellow survivors. It only works well with other Zombies.
Nonetheless, if there was actually a Zombie Set that must be completed first, then that would make a lot of sense.
Because of this, Travis ordered all the people in his Shelter to monitor their Survivor Stores and immediately inform him if they found any items that could be paired with Zombie Coat and Zombie Mask.
"Whatever that item was, I must obtain it..." Travis muttered as he felt that he would be able to put it to better use once he managed to possess such an incredible item.

In the meantime, within the reception hall of the Springriver Manor, Raze and the rest of the members of the Eclipse Revenant had just closed their Regional Chat Board.
They felt interested after they talked about the Zombie that was wielding a Golden Hatchet. A weapon that was closely related to Shane, their Clan Leader.
After recalling that Shane had possibly stolen a kill, all of them couldn't help but chuckle at their leader's random actions. Anyway, they were still unsure if it was really Shane, but the possibility was high. After all, that Golden Hatchet was definitely a Legendary Grade for being able to one-hit kill the Juggernaut Zombie.
It was an item that could be rarely seen. Furthermore, Shane was the only one rich enough to spend so many Item Upgrade Crystals for a beginner's item. He could've upgraded a special weapon he looted from Zombies or purchased in the Reputation Store and Auction Hall, but he had still chosen the small hatchet…
Aside from Shane, they couldn't think of any Survivor rich enough to do that.
"Alright… We're going to complete the two Clan Missions today." Raze, the Dragon Knight, said as she looked at everyone.
"Right… Let me check the Clan Missions again." Lyra, the Sharpshooter, replied as she opened the Clan Information.
In the Clan Missions Tab, there were two active Missions.
[ Mission 1: "Crypt Crawler Extermination"
Objective: Eliminate the infestation of Crypt Crawlers in the nearby abandoned Salt Mine

Threat Level: Guarded

This mission was certainly doable, but the unknown Zombie bothered them for a bit.
[ Mission 2: "Nocturnal Marauders"

"Ughh… Siren Zombies… They're tough… And it's only a Moderate Threat?" Tessa, the Night Assassin, muttered in frustration.
