Chapter 461 - Despondent and Helpless

Chapter 461: Despondent and Helpless

In the male dormitory of Beijing University.

Early in the morning, Jian Yunnao got out of his bed,

Jian Yunnao’s three roommates were incredibly surprised to see this.

“Yunnao, there isn’t a class in the morning. Why are you up so early?”

“I have something important to do today.”

Jian Yunnao was already fully dressed as he replied to his roommate. A carefully prepared pink gift box was rested in his hand.

After Jian Yunnao’s hand had recovered, he had concentrated on his studies. As a result, he successfully passed the entrance exam of Beijing University. Beijing University was considered to be a top university in China.

This year, he was in his third year of university.

Although he still occasionally played the piano, it was no longer his entire career.

In fact, after his hand had recovered, he could have still continued his piano career if he practiced hard enough.

But for some reason, Jian Yunnao had moved on from playing the piano. Although he enjoyed playing the piano, whether or not he could become a pianist was no longer important to him.

And thus, some days, he would still occasionally played the piano. However, he no longer devoted all his time and energy to it.

“Oh my! Are you going on a date?!” Jian Yunnao’s roommate was in shock. It appeared as though he had discovered a whole new world. What was Jian Yunnao’s new look?

“No!” Jian Yunnao hurriedly replied.

“No way. You’re definitely going on a date. Your words are not convincing at all! Even if you’re going on a date, there’s nothing to hide! It’s your third year in university already! Hurry up and date someone! Don’t waste your four years in university doing nothing!”

Then, another roommate chimed in and commented: “Yeah! Hurry up and find a girlfriend already! Once you do that, some girls will give up on you. They will finally give us a chance!”

His third roommate laughed before he said: “Oh my! I thought Yunnao only had eyes for Dr. F.S!”

Jian Yunnao had attended university for two years already. This year was his third year. However, in the past few years, he hadn’t dated anybody. Instead, he had been chasing news about Dr. F.S.

His roommates knew that he was a huge fan of Dr. F.S.

Jian Yunnao would be interested in any news that was related to Dr. F.S.

In fact, his dorm desk was filled with newspaper clippings about Dr. F.S.

“That’s totally different. My hand was saved by Dr. F.S. Of course I’m a fan of his,” Jian Yunnao argued back.

“Yeah, I know, I know. Thanks to Dr. F.S., you’ve regained hope in your life, haven’t you? Well, what’s going on with you today then? You’re dressed quite differently from usual. Furthermore, you’re holding that pink thing in your hand as well. You’re not planning to see Dr. F.S. with a gift like that, are you?”

“I’m going to see something very important to me. However, that person isn’t Dr. F.S.”

“And you’re telling us that you’re not going on a date?”

“I’m actually not going on a date,” Jian Yunnao muttered. Once again, he denied his roommate’s assumptions.

Today, his sister was coming to their school. He was going out to meet her.

However, Jian Yunnao wasn’t sure whether or not his sister would want to see him.

In the past three years, the two of them hadn’t seen each other often.

After that incident, Jian Yunnao assumed that his sister hated him.

However, as time went on, he realized that his sister did not hate him. Instead, it seemed as though she didn’t see him as a brother anymore.

She just treated him as a brother as they were related by blood. She exchanged pleasantries with him yet she was no longer close to him.

The sibling relationship that they had was buried completely with that incident three years ago.

It had been three years since he had heard her call him ‘third brother’.

He felt despondent and helpless.

In fact, Grandma Jian had asked Yu Xi to pick Jian Yiling up from the airport. She hadn’t asked him to go and pick Jian Yiling up.

Grandma Jian knew that his sister’s relationship with Yu Xi was better than hers with him.

Jian Yunnao took a moment to straighten out his emotions. Either way, his sister was attending the same university as him! He couldn’t miss out on this opportunity to see her!
