Chapter 190: Eusford's Strongest Vs Colzen's Strongest
Chapter 190: Eusford's Strongest Vs Colzen's Strongest
"K-K-Kobold General!! Ruthless! This survival match is ruthless!!! How could these young exhausted representatives match up against such monstrosity?!"
Realizing how dire the situation was, Siegfried reacted quickly.
"Crowley, recuperate and buff yourself up with the help of Wendy, I'll stall for as long as I can!"
Shye knew better than anyone how dangerous this creature was and it was true that he needed to prepare for a bit to deal with it.

Seeing Siegfried charge towards the creature, Shye quickly jumped to Wendy's side, receiving a few buffs and heals.
As for the Eusford duo, the priest had decided to use all of his remaining mana and entrust the battle to Harper, their strongest representative.
Huge mana roots suddenly sprang out of the ground and grabbed the Eusford Kobold General's legs, preventing it from moving forward for a few seconds as it focused on destroying the unusual green-colored mana roots.
It seems that this variation of mana roots was tougher than usual since it managed to delay the Eusford Kobold General for quite some time.
While their opponent was entangled, the Eusford priest representative, Isaac, vigorously waved his life staff and started casting another one of his ultimate skills, [Divine Restoration Lv.3].
After a few seconds of casting, a glowing seed the size of a golf ball appeared in front of Isaac and floated towards Harper, enveloping him in a gentle holy light, restoring not only his health but also his stamina.
By the time the Eusford Kobold General managed to rip the green mana roots apart, Harper was fully rejuvenated.
In contrast, Shye was still panting slightly in exhaustion.
Wendy was right behind him casting buff skills after healing him back to full health.
Unfortunately, it seems that Harper would have a slight advantage of full stamina compared to Shye.
Meanwhile, Shye was facing Wendy whose eyes were closed as she continuously cast buff skills after buff skills, going all out in giving Shye some much-needed boosts.
Even her weaker buff skills such as [Blessing of Lesser Intelligence Lv.1] made their way into Shye's body.
Seeing that very few people could see what he was doing, Shye decisively opened the system.
He didn't want anyone to see him acting weird but there was no choice, he needed to upgrade his attributes and purchase a few skills so some of the people watching were bound to see his weird actions.
Hopefully, no one suspects anything.
He tried before and was sure that no one could see the system's interface except for him so in case anyone asks about what he was doing, he could simply say that he was casting a rare skill.
In addition, no one probably knew about the system so unless they stalked him with the intent of exposing his secrets then the system would remain private.
Knowing this, he tapped away, upgrading all the attributes he needed and purchasing two rare skills for a total price of 40,000 points, leaving him with around 94,351 points.
An astronomical amount at first glance, however, Shye checked the system upgrade to level three and it cost 200,000 points so he had to earn more if he wanted to purchase higher-ranked skills.
After all, upgrading the system to level three without getting anything right after would just be too pointless.
Thus, with an investment of 40,000 points, he hoped to gain more.
There were 200,000 people in attendance, if he could earn something close to that number…hehehehe…

Shye wanted to check his current status after maxing every needed attribute out within the limits of his level 2 system, unfortunately, he didn't have the luxury of doing so as three azure rays of light shot out from inside the blue dome.
Siegfried was eliminated by the Kobold General while Wendy and Isaac were sent out of the main stage due to mana depletion.
Seeing the current developments, the crowd once again erupted into cheers, standing up and waving their fists around in excitement.
"CAN YOU NAME A BETTER MATCHUP THAN THIS?!! The score tied up at 1-1, two warrior representatives left, one from Colzen and one from Eusford. Both hailed as the strongest in their academies."
"Who will win?! Will it be Eusford Academy's Harper Blythe?! Or Colzen Academy's Shye Crowley?!! We're about to find out!"
Shye and Harper were both warriors, however, they adopted an approach different from each other.
As a sword and shield user, Harper decided to last for as long as possible, opting for a defensive approach.
He knew that they could take down the Kobold General as a party but it would be impossible to do so alone.
Knowing that he had the better defensive stats, Harper was confident, thinking that Shye's aggressive approach was not optimal for the current situation.
Unfortunately for him, Shye had other plans.
He was already familiar with the attack patterns of this creature and he already took one down.
Although the one he killed was blind, it was just as physically strong as this healthy kobold general.
However, he couldn't trick his way out of this battle so he had to focus.
One clean shot and he was gone.
The Kobold Generals didn't wait long and immediately pounced like a nightmarish hound towards the two puny human representatives, brandishing their glaives downwards in an attempt to hack Shye and Harper in half.
From there, the battle stopped being identical.
Harper didn't dare block such a momentum-charged blow so he rolled to the sides, causing dust and dirt to fly everywhere as the gigantic glaive smashed the ground.
As for Shye, he knew he could still fight the Kobold General head-on as long as Wendy's buffs were active.
He had around forty seconds.
Knowing this, Shye charged forward and courageously slashed his blade upwards, directly clashing with the Kobold General.
Although he was sent sliding a few meters back, it could be considered a win.
After all, he was human and not a monstrous creature.
Seeing the results of Shye's heroic clash against the massive kobold, the commentator slammed his desk with his hands in utter disbelief.
"S-S-S-Shye Crowley!! Did everyone see what just happened?! Such monstrous strength!! Colzen's strongest once again makes a resounding statement!! Who?! Who would even have the guts to fight such a nightmarish creature head-on at such a young age?!"
