Chapter 315 - 314 - Attack On The Elves(Part 9)

Point-of-View: Sylvar Miirphys

———————————————————————————

Green streaks appeared in my hair as I unleashed my full power, a blind fury taking over me as I couldn't contain my rage. The fact that I was once human...no longer matters to me. I'm no longer a member of this vile species...and I'm more than happy to help purify this world by driving them to extinction.

"Careful, this one seems to be especially powerful!" Exclaimed one of the humans, a guy with dark pink hair, with his left eye freshly blinded.

"Not gonna lie, I don't think I can help much anymore," Replied the other one with a grimace, a woman with green hair and a missing right arm.

"Alright, then, leave this to me," Remarked the guy, standing in front of her defensively with his spear in his hands, "Bring it on, and I'll advise you not to underestimate m-."

Before he could finish his sentence, I shot forward with a blast of wind, closing in on him so quickly that he didn't even realize it. I then grabbed his face with my right hand and slipped my right foot behind his heel and swiftly slid it backwards, knocking him off balance before tightening my grip on his face and slamming him onto the ground with an immense amount of force, the back of his head hitting the ground with a loud crash.

I deliberately held back so as not to kill him before he even realizes it, I'll make him suffer first. But maybe I should have held back more, I think I nearly did kill him just now.

"Well, I can say with confidence that I didn't underestimate you, quite the opposite, in fact...I overestimated you," I remarked icily, as I lifted him back up, he let out a weak, dazed groan as I did.

"Go...to...hell...," He uttered weakly, glaring at me defiantly with his right eye.

His grip on his spear then tightened, but before he could do anything, I fired out a powerful wind blast at his midsection, eliciting a sharp gasp of pain from him before sending him flying back and crashing onto a tree, coughing out blood before falling down onto his knees, struggling to get up.

I then took a step to the left as the woman flung her trident at me, swirling with sharp streaks of water, but I was able to evade it easily. And she was on one knee, not even able to stand up on both legs...she's no threat to me.

She then opened her fist and pointed her palm at me, a fierce glare in her eyes. What is she-...I realized and reacted just in time, narrowly getting out of the way as the trident flew back towards her, grazing my left arm as it shot past me.

"And that's just about all the damage you'll be inflicting on me," I stated with a cold stare, before firing out a barrage of wind blasts at her, eliciting a scream of pain from her as I struck her several times and sent her flying back, crashing onto a large rock with a devastating impact.

She then collapsed face-first onto the ground as the rock cracked and crumbled apart, her limbs were all broken, probably along with most of her other bones, a puddle of blood slowly forming around her. I don't think she's dead, but she'll probably die of blood loss soon enough...I'll leave her to a slow and painful death.

"Hey...I-I'm not done yet...," Stuttered the guy weakly, shakily getting back on his feet and picking up his spear with a frown.

He then shot towards me, more than a little unsteadily as he let out a strained battle cry. I took a step back as he closed in on me and swung his spear at my face, which I evaded eas-...what the...? There was a small cut on the bridge of my nose...but how?

He let out a strangled yell as he swung the spear up at my right arm, which I once again avoided...but once again, a small cut appeared, this time on my right shoulder. Does the blade of that spear have an invisible, slightly longer reach? Hm, interesting...I think that'll make a fine replacement for the spear I lost.

As he raised his spear and began to swing it down at me, I fired out a couple of small but sharp blasts of wind, striking his torso and eliciting a gasp of pain from him, causing him to drop his spear and stumble back, flecks of blood spraying out of his mouth as my blasts struck him and he fell to do ground. I bent down to pick up his spear, but to my surprise, my hand was immediately repelled off.

What the...? Is this a weapon that only he can use or something? Or maybe it's a human-only type of thing? Well, whatever, I guess I might as well kill this guy now, he's barely conscious, so I doubt he can take much more damage anyway.

I then began rapidly spinning the air all around me, which quickly began speeding up and twisting more and more violently, rising up in a rapid, swirling pillar of air. The pink haired guy didn't stand a chance of getting out of it, as the force of the twister grew powerful enough to lift him up, rapidly spinning him along the swirling air currents.

Terrified, yet faint screams echoed out around me, drowned out by the devastatingly powerful winds. The moment the screams faded, I snapped my fingers and dissipated the twister in an instant, the air around me returning to normal.

The pink haired guy then fell down towards the ground, landing on his right leg at an awkward angle and letting out a hoarse cry of pain as it broke like a twig, looking incredibly dazed and out of breath, struggling to catch his breath and regain his bearings.

Time to die. I swiftly clasped my right hand over his open mouth as he inhaled and exhaled heavily, and before he could react, his body rapidly ballooned up...and then exploded like a fat, ripe pimple, his blood splattering out and raining down in a bloody drizzle, which dripped off of the grass as the foul stench of his innards filled the air.

I pumped his insides full of wind through his open mouth, until he burst. That was pitifully easy. Too bad I can't pick his weapon up, the way my hand got repelled-...wait, I can pick it up now. Was it just my imagination before, or-...

What was that? Tonbokiri...that just popped into my head. Is that the name of this weapon? Ohh, I think I get it...I can hold it now because I just killed its' previous owner. Huh...I didn't know weapons like this even existed in this world, fascinating...

Hey, Aero, do you have any idea what the deal is with this weapon?

"No, I do not...I am as baffled as you are," Replied the Wind Spirit inside me.

Does that mean that now I'm the only one who can touch it? How does that even work-...

...suddenly, I felt my power rising, my body growing more powerful and agile as waves of energy surged throughout me. Wh-what the...? I...I feel a fair bit more powerful now...just what exactly is this weapon made of, anyway?

And how did it-...I then snapped out of it as someone landed next to the green haired woman, someone clad in all white, with white hair and yellow eyes...as well as black wings and a tail. He looks kinda like Kuro, the leader of Abyss...but with the opposite color scheme.

"I wasn't sure if I should check out the spot where all that lightning is blasting down, or the massive twister over here...I went with the latter, obviously, and from the way you just popped Dwayne like a water balloon...I'm happy with that choice, that guy was kinda too smug for my liking," He remarked with a cocky smirk, as he pierced his claws into the green haired woman's back.

"I don't know who you are, but no matter how many of you worms wriggle out of the dirt, it makes no difference to me or what I need to do...I'll kill you all!" I declared, as wind burst out from me in a powerful shockwave...still, I couldn't help feeling concerned, I was getting a strong feeling that this guy was on a different level compared to the one I'd just fought...

Hmph, not that that's saying much...and this works out great, actually...to think I'd get an opportunity to test out my new boost in power so soon...

There, it's done...Silvland is no more. Just as Goldway had been, before being rebuilt as The Valaque Empire, only for it to happen again, and more recently, Bronztan...just like all those instances, Silvland had been reduced to a smoking crater, the only difference was that this crater was a fair bit bigger than all the previous craters were...by a radius of about fifteen kilometers...my bad.

And I still have enough power left to do it about seven or eight times over, that had taken just a little over ten percent of my total Mana. Alright, then, I think it's time I get back to Abyss. I summoned a Snow Serpent that was posted in Abyss, grabbed hold of it and then reversed the summon, returning to Abyss.

Now, then...let's see what's going on in the battle at the Elf forest, shall we? Depending on what I see, I think I just might get involved a bit myself...
