Chapter 875 Uriel The Trickster

Chapter 875 Uriel The Trickster

875  Uriel The Trickster

No matter the mission, dangerous or not, Lenny had always followed his instincts, and right now, they was nothing more that his instincts told him, except that Uriel had something of incredible importance. At least, it was important enough for the Royal houses to battle for his head. There was also the fact that the fates told him to avoid physical contact with the Angel. Lenny planned to go into the outside world, and he knew for a certain that he needed any upper hand that he could get. Besides, he could not just leave a person like Uriel here in the eighth earth. of course, there was still the option of killing him and allowing him to die with his secret. that way, n o one would get it. But Lenny's instincts told him that he would have a lot of regrets if he made such a mistake. With no other option to explore, the only other choice was freeing the Angel. Moranda the devil stepped forward, "Master's beloved, I strongly advice against this. Fallen Angels can never be trusted. They are..." "You mistake my intentions for you Moranda. I only freed you because I thought you would be of importance to me. You have yet to display any value whatsoever. What makes you think that I will not strike you down, here and now."

Those words were a bold display of lenny's stand and of course ability. Moranda frowned a bit. The side of him that enjoyed chaos really wanted to rush over and show lenny what true power was, but Moranda also had his own goals. Even though he had acknowledged Lenny as Lucifer's beloved, it did not mean that he had accepted lenny as his own lord. Lenny did not care about the Devil's feelings. So far, Lenny could tell that the Fates intended a certain goal, and he was the instrument that they wanted to use to achieve that goal. Although he did not know for how long, it was at least clear that they did not want him dead. They gave him a treasure against Baroness Everbee, but did not give him any treasure against Moranda. This at least was prove that for now, Moranda was not one he should fear.

As such, the devil was not important in the matters of the Now.

Moranda was an old Devil. And with age came an incredible level of maturity and more so patience. In moranda's mind, this was not yet the time.

Lenny flew over to the angel. "I will set you free..." those words made Uriel slowly open one eye. "But I have conditions. We shall sign it in a blood contract. This will be the last option I shall give you. If you do not take it, then know that I am fully capable of accepting any responsibility that follows your death." Uriel's brows frowned a bit. However, they quickly eased out. "go on!" Uriel responded. "Firstly, you shall show me the Codex as you promised, secondly, you will not harm anyone here or on the eighth earth." ~Sanguis Foedus~

Lenny waved his hand and some of his blood flowed out. Uriel also repeated after Lenny in agreement to the blood oath. Instantly, some drops of blue blood from the Angel flew out and merged with lenny's. The deal had been sighed. Just like when he had released the devil Moranda, Lenny waved his hand, attacking the sphere with his magic.

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

*BOOM!*

Again and again, he attacked it, and eventually, the Sphere collapsed. Within were seven pillars to hold down the Angel. Lenny attempted to remove the first pillar, but it sent a shook that made him immediately remove his hand. Uriel chuckled a bit, "releasing an Angel from a bind is not like that of devil. It has to be done n a particular order. The seven pillars that bind me are a representation of binding my Holy Power. The wrong sequence can not only kill you, but also me."

Lenny raised a brow at him, "And why did you not tell me before I started?" "The lesson always sticks with pain." Uriel responded. Lenny had not yet freed him, but he could already tell that this was a very crazy guy. According to Uriel's instructions, including the amount of magic to use, Lenny removed the pillars one after the other.

Uriel was a giant figure. Each Pillar was as thick as a mature palm tree, and even longer. *DUM!* *DUM!*

lenny threw the pillars to the ground one after the other. Finally, he had removed the last pillar. <Alert! pillars contain Arcane energy that is useful for furthering the System growth.>

"Hmmm!" Lenny had not heard such an alert when he had freed the devil. He guessed that it was because of the Angel's blood. After all, lenny could clearly see that the blue blood on the pillar that stained the black sands actually made the ground blossom with plant life. The blood of Angels was just that potent. It literally gave life were it did not exist. lenny waved his hand, sending the Seven pillars into the storage unit. As he did, he got another Alert.

<Host, may the Satan System consume the Arcane pillars?>

"How long will that take, including the digestion process?"

<Two weeks!>

"Hmmm! not yet. Once we are done here."

The reason Lenny said that was because he had his eyes on Uriel. And at the moment, the terrible wounds that had been given to the Angel as a result of the arcane pillars were healing before his eyes. Truly, Angels were beings far removed from the atrocities of the world. Although his wounds healed, Lenny did not see any signs that the angel was recovering his lost energy. Uriel suddenly opened his white feathery wings. Each one of them stretched for two hundred meters on either sides. He opened his arms and stretched to his full. His body gave a low light as if to express his happiness at freedom. And then he looked at lenny. His eyes a subtle gaze that could seduce any living being. "Now, lets get down to business!" On saying this, Uriel waved his hands, and instantly, the world around he and lenny instantly changed...
