Chapter 1541 Old Founder

Chapter 1541  Old Founder

Starting to look through the different documents and scrolls not related to the Dao of Sword that he had taken back with him when he had returned to the Shattered Star Peaks from the Flying Sword Sect, Feng Chen could not help showing an increasingly surprised expression on his face as he dwelled deeper and deeper into the information.

Not only was there information far beyond what should have been possible for someone in the outer regions of the continent to gather, but there was also information on the different major powers in the core region of the continent. Not just any information, but information about their general strength, something that shouldn't have changed in the mere thousand years since the founder of the Flying Sword Sect had been around.

For one, according to the information, the Blue Sea Empire that was currently the biggest threat to the future growth of the Star Shattering Sect, had at least 10 people in the Celestial Immortal Realm and three in the Profound Immortal Realm, one of the Profound Immortal Realm cultivators having reached the Land Creation Realm. Standing above even someone in the Peak of the Celestial Immortal Realm in terms of strength.

Although he couldn't fully trust the information and how accurate it might be, it still pointed towards the terrifying foundation of the Blue Sea Empire. Making him fully understand why it was considered one of the strongest major powers in the central region of the continent.

At the same time, it also made him understand just how much of their strength was hidden beneath the surface, as publicly they only had a handful of Celestial Immortal Realm Ancestors watching over them. Nothing like the strength written about in the documents left behind by the old founder of the Flying Sword Sect.

However, the thing that shocked him the most was not the strength of the Blue Sea Empire and other major powers, but instead the existence of nine different major powers collectively known as the nine core faiths. Located in the Southern Central Region based around the true core of the continent.

Even though there wasn't much information on their strength and only a simple sentence left behind to describe their strength, it was more than enough to terrify Feng Chen into never wanting to fight with these nine core faiths if possible.

[Sealed ancient power. Strength exceeds the Profound Immortal Realm. Best to avoid.]

Just the fact that they had strength above the Profound Immortal Realm was more than enough to terrify him. The warning that was placed there wasn't needed at all. However, it at least made him understand that even the one who had written this information didn't want to mess with these nine core faiths, while he seemed rather unbothered by the strength of the other major powers on the continent.

Speak of the person who wrote this information… It was indeed the founder of the Flying Sword Sect. However, Feng Chen quickly realized that the founder was far from as simple or weak as he had first believed.

Well… He didn't think he was weak after discovering the hidden cultivation room, but from the information in the personal diary that came along with the rest of the documents and notes he had taken from the hidden cultivation room, he found out that the founder of the Flying Sword Sect was someone who had reached the Profound Immortal Realm.

Not just that, but he had reached the Peak of the Profound Immortal Realm, the Star Creation Realm, a realm he had just recently learnt about through the diary that had been left behind.

As for the reason why such a powerful cultivator would establish a small sect like the Flying Sword Sect in the middle of nowhere on the continent when he had more than enough strength to establish a major power in the core of the continent? That was something that still eluded Feng Chen even after reading through the diary.

However, he could at the very least piece a few things together and make his own guess, as it was clear from the diary that the old founder of the Flying Sword Sect had been chased by someone before, he had ended up settling down and establishing the Flying Sword Sect.

Not just that, but from the diary, it was also clear that he had not originally been from the Ewaria continent but had instead come from a place called the Fallen Immortal Archipeligo.

Although he didn't know much about this Fallen Immortal Archipeligo, he had at least heard something about it from Elder Song and Xuan Hao in the past, who had clearly described it as somewhere that had stronger cultivators than on the Ewaria Continent or at the very least the cultivation path present and spread through the Fallen Immortal Archipelago was more complete than the one presently spread throughout the Ewaria Continent.

After all, the path in that place included the Dao Domain Lord Realm, Dao Seed Realm and the Profound Immortal Realm, while the cultivation path of the Ewaria Continent was rather incomplete. The path ending at the Celestial Immortal Realm, with the existence of the Dao Seed Realm and the Dao Domain Lord Realm being completely unknown to most people…

Continuing to read through the documents in an attempt to see if he could find more information on the founder of the Flying Sword Sect and why he might have even bothered establishing the sect in the first place with his strength, Feng Chen continued to be disappointed, as there was no new information even after he spent a few days looking through everything for any clues that might help him out.

Not just that, but the only thing he ended up guessing to be the reason why the founder had established the Flying Sword Sect had to do with the existence of the mystic realm entrance that seemed to be in the Flying Sword Sect.

Already knowing about this mystic realm from Xuan Hao, Feng Chen wasn't too surprised by this revelation. Instead, he was just left more confused as he wondered what on earth the old founder was up to.

In the end, the only thing outside of the mystic realm that belonged to a real hidden ancient sect that had perished was the existence of the ancient seal that Xuan Hao had talked to him about before.

From the diary, it was clear that this founder had tried to mend that ancient seal but had been unable to do much about it and ended up leaving it alone.

Perhaps the Flying Sword Sect was simply established as a cover to hide himself in case the people chasing after him came to the Ewaria Continent to try and find him?

Thinking this to himself as he put down a stack of worn-out papers, Feng Chen could only shake his head as he decided to give up on trying to figure out what the old founder had been thinking when he had established the Flying Sword Sect in the past.

Of course, it didn't mean he intended to give up. Instead, he decided to just send this information over to Elder Song for now and see if he could find something that he couldn't about the documents and other information that he had taken from the hidden cultivation room.

Considering Elder Song's expertise in handling information, he had a feeling that this would yield a far better outcome than if he continued trying to look through the information on his own.

Instead of that, he felt far more excited about continuing to look through the manuals and sword arts left behind to increase his comprehension of the Dao of the Sword and further establish himself in the Initial Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm before he started aiming to reach the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm and then the Dao Seed Realm in the future.

Given that he had access to accurate information on the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he didn't really think much about trying to reach the realm himself, as it was obvious from a single glance just how difficult it would be to reach the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.

Instead of that, he decided on the far simpler path of reaching the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm before breaking through to the Dao Seed Realm.

Of course, even if it was far simpler when compared to reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, it was still an incredibly difficult path to tread.

Not to mention, when he reached the Intermediate Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm in the future, he could always reassess his choice and see if he felt confident in reaching the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm at that point in time.

If not, he would then attempt the Immortal Soul Tribulation and break through to the Dao Seed Realm.
