Chapter 95: Father-Son Talk!
Chapter 95: Father-Son Talk!
"Indeed, I want to know. And it better be reasonable, or it will be off with your head. No matter how many clones you have or where your real body is." Alexander replied, looking at Draco dead in the eye.
The father, who lived at least ten thousand times less than his son, smiled and shook his head.
"How scary. You better be able to." Draco said.
And before he spoke any further, he called on his evolved assistant.
"System, Analysis!"

"Ooh, Nice Arsenal of Affinities you've got there. First time I've seen a Transcendent. Have you already reached a 25% Fusion Rate on most Normal Affinities? What does Origin do? The Affinity Dimensions sound fantastic. Can you send me to one of them?
I'd like to do what I did to your Empire there." as Draco read his Son's Status like a book, he sent question after question.
The 'Young' man didn't know what to say.
He didn't know what to be. Surprised? Cautious? Confused? Angry? Embarrassed?
Scared? What's with this guy? Am I The Anomaly here or him?
"How did you even... Forget that. You have one last chance; you either tell me why you're doing this or you're dead." Cracks appeared all around Draco and Alexander.
This time, he really wasn't going to let Draco go easily if he didn't answer.
"Now now, Calm down. Well, you see, I have to do this in order to evolve." Draco clasped his hands together and said it truthfully.
"Does it have to be this way?" The Anomaly, although slightly surprised that Draco knew what he needed to do to evolve, wasn't really surprised.
"Not Really." Draco replied.
"Then why?"
"Because I like it."
"What about the innocent citizens?"
"I didn't touch them."
"But..."
"What? All I did was marry your mother to her beloved, and I came here to sightsee." Draco cut off Alexander midway to talk.
"Sightseeing by controlling and taking over the heirs' bodies and causing conflicts between plans? I've never seen someone sightsee like this." Alexander kept his cool and ignored the first part.
"Well, I am a demon; we do things differently over here."
"You've already done enough. As things are right now, I can still fix them, but if you go any further, I won't be as forgiving."
"Now now, don't talk like that to your father."
"I told you to stop that."
"And I'm telling you I won't be able to stop."
"Your Reason?"
"The same reason you delayed your trip to the prison for." Draco said.
Alexander stood silent for a second before he squinted his eyes and asked.
"What do you mean?"
"You already know."
"You know too much."
"Against my own wishes."
"Can we do things any differently?"
"Indeed, we can. How about a bet?"
"Speak."
"If you lose, I get your empire, and I get to continue doing what I'm doing without stopping." Draco stated his conditions.
"If you lose, you will spill out your secrets one by one and never set a single foot on this continent." Alexander stated his.
"What about David?"
"He's an exception. What's the bet about?"
"Oh now, a father can't set a bet against his son." Draco said it with a smile.
"Fine, then. You asked for it." Alexander stood up.
"Fight me." Alexander said with all seriousness.
"Very well." Draco replied as he got up from his seat, and the Thrones as well as the table turned into a skull face and disappeared into nothingness.
"Hmm, some confidence you have, seeing as you know I'm already a transcendent."
"No Father can lose against his Son."
"You've taken this game too seriously, D E A R Father." with an expression of annoyance Alexander said.
"Now that's what I like to see. Show me what a Transcendent is and why you're called The Anomaly."
"[Origin Authority - Point Zero.]"
*Fwshhhhh*
"Oho, so this is what the Great being that managed to Conquer the Forest by beating our Great Commander looked like at the beginning of his life." Alexander, who had used just one authority of his, looked at Draco's current form as an Imp.
"Oho Indeed, I can't say I missed this form." Draco looked at himself and shook his head.
There was something fundamentally different. Long gone was the wimpy, inexperienced, and weak Red Imp.
No, the Imp standing in front of Alexander, despite his short stature, seemed massive, despite his scheming eyes, he looked wise; and despite his skinny form, he gave off a pressure that made one's knees want to buckle.
"[Chaotic Form]!" Using his racial skill for the first time, Draco transformed himself into a black-haired humanoid being with black horns going upwards. Getting inspired a little from his previous forms as a Mana Kythnos and the Fallen Angel Azeroth, he made himself wings with black and red feathers.
He formed a long white robe reaching his knees and black pants that were slightly wide and made himself comfortable.
Then he looked at Alexander and said: "Don't you have any more tricks, Son?"
"Well, you asked for it. I won't be going easy anymore. If you survive this, it's your win, So, Let me show you the power of a Transcendent!" Alexander said with a smug smirk.
"After Understanding comes Fusion. After Control comes Personification. [Origin Of Life]!" for a brief second, Draco watched as Alexander transformed from a humanoid into the very center of something unfathomable, and then? He lost himself.
What did Origin mean? It meant the center of everything; it meant when everything started, the reason everything started, the place everything started—it was what everything revolved around.
So what did Understanding The Origin Law do? It meant complete control over the center of everything and complete control over the reason of everything.
What did it mean to personify Origin? It meant to become the Start of everything, it meant to become what everything revolved around.
So, what is the Origin of Life?
Draco saw it, Draco lived through it, and Draco... revolved around it.
Birth, age, and death—this was all part of life; every single one of them revolved around a single being, a single existence, a single living thing's life.
No one lived without going through this; this was life itself!
If this is what revolves around life, then what was the origin of life? In a detailed sense, it was unknown to Draco and Alexander; in a broader sense... it was progress in evolution. Life itself was nothing but a way for existence to progress forward; thus, its origin, reason, and purpose were progress and a need for it.
What did it mean to revolve around the origin of life? It was meant to live through it. And how would one live through it? By experiencing it.
But this here was a way of attack, and the same way Alexander could be the origin of life, he could control it, and Draco right now was at his mercy. Draco was inside a whirlpool called Progress, but did that mean that he would experience it?
No, it wasn't as simple as that. Progress was simply the origin; what he would go through, however, was life itself.
Draco... Shall start from the beginning, and in an utterly devious and hideous way, Alexander controlled his every step.
He could make him fall when he wanted to, rise when he wanted to, and die when he wanted to!
There was no way out. It was an endless whirlpool with a controller above it that manipulated every little molecule of it.
One thing, however, was that Draco didn't lose his memories, his powers, or his skills.
Thus, if he had the right amount of strength, he could get out.
And did Draco have it? No way! How could an EX-Rank ever dream of resisting the power of a transcendent? It was as if an ant was fighting a dragon; the chances were non-existent.
What would Draco do to get out of this predicament? And would he be able to keep his words and not lose to his own 'Son'?
"Show me what you're capable of, Dear Father!" Alexander said as he, who was the very life Draco lived, watched closely.
