Chaos Evolution: Only I Was Granted 3 Wishes

Chapter 127: Super VIPs!

Chapter 127: Super VIPs!

The auction continued, and the VIP who bought the first 2 crystals was now seen as the public enemy.

But their plan was simple.

A ton of the neutral law crystal's market price was 50 million prison coins. The VIP was instructed to raise the price as much as he could until the market price was exceeded, as this first item wasn't something an outside party put in but something the auction itself was the seller of.

As long as the 50 million milestone wasn't reached, the VIP would buy the crystal, so the auction wouldn't suffer any losses.

This technique also allowed to raise the anxiety of the regular clients, causing them to start bidding higher and higher in fear of the Super VIPs participating and stripping them of any chance at gaining the Crystals.

And they successfully managed to do that, as, starting with the third ton, the audience was getting crazy.

From the previous 36 million, the final bid reached an astonishing...

"69 Million!" A fat guest that was sitting in the regular seat had his hologram in front of him, displaying a bid that made the auctioneer's face brighten.

As the sweat fell off the rich man's fat face, the auctioneer looked at the audience one last time before he raised one hand and three fingers.

"Any last bids? 3, 2, 1, AND SOLD!" With the auctioneers words and actions, the auction went into complete silence as the tension just grew.

The fourth ton was brought over, and the auction for this one was fiercer than the last, because it went for 73 million.

And for the next 6 tons, the price varied between 65 and 81 million per ton; however, starting the 11th ton... the Super VIP, who had insider information, started acting.

Knowing how many tons were left, they moved to snatch the remaining 15, no longer caring to leave any for the regular guests.

The 11th ton's bidding started normal.

"1.1 million."

"1.2 million.

"1.5 million."

"2.4 million."

It was rising steadily; nothing unexpected happened, aside from the VIP raising the bid here and there to quickly make the regular audience reach higher prices.

However, once it reached 50 million...

"Super VIP 34, 75 million!" The voice was heard, and it made the entire dimly lit room have its heads turn to look at the massive hologram covering the window of the 34th Super VIP's room.

"They're here!"

"Oh dear Mother Portalia, they started bidding! I still didn't buy a single crystal." Another one screamed in defeat as those close to him could see him holding his head and almost crying.

The Super VIPs and the auctioneer, smiling from ear to ear, cared not for the feelings of the regulars as they continued, but this time, between themselves.

"Super VIP 21, 75 million!" To keep their heads held high and not feel ashamed of themselves, the Super VIPs splurged, only bidding 10 million at a time.

"Super VIP 11, 100 million!" Silence consumed the hall as, for the first time ever, 100 million was reached today.

As of now, the market price wasn't exceeded by too much, but it didn't seem like the Super VIPs were ending it here.

"Super VIP 3, 110 million!" Hearing the number of the room announced, they were once again drowning in gasps and wows as they turned to look at the holographic window of Room 3 to make sure it was really such a big shot that made it.

The first 3 Super VIP rooms were reserved for 3 clans that were very influential in Portalia, and nobody but them and their affiliates could use them in any auction.

And these 3 clans... were beastmen clans!

Looking at the surprise of the rich and him not understanding what was going on, Draco started having plans of devouring a few rich men here and there after leaving the auction to gain an idea about this station and the Central Continent.

"We've got a bid of 110 million... Anybody else?" The auctioneer looked at the Super VIP room and then back at the audience, knowing full well that nobody was dumb enough to try and outbid the beastmen.

Thus, "3, 2, 1. And sold to Super VIP 3!" The auctioneer announced while the auction turned silent for a while until the 12th ton was revealed; however, who would have guessed that the Super VIP room 3 would get it as well, then go on to buy every single crystal that showed up after it?

Fortunately for the audience, they only had the Crystals at prices above 100 million, which was much to their delight; however, the regular audience wasn't happy at all; they just couldn't say anything if they didn't want their heads away from their bodies.

"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for keeping up with us until we've sold our first item. Now, shall we have some warm applause for our second item of the day, A Divine Pardon!" With the last two words of the auctioneer, the audience's eyes opened wide, and all of them got up as they applauded as hard as they could.

Had the auction not been fully equipped to resist powers up to the Original Emperor Realm, the station wouldn't be feeling well from the cumulative applause of thousands of transcedents and lords.

What's the entire commotion, you say?

It's a divine pardon! A Divine Pardon! It's a way out of this hell hole that every single Transcendent and their mother wish to be bestowed upon.

There's not a single being here that wishes to stay in prison, and almost no one came here with their own will. Or was there?

Indeed, there were Draco and Alexander, who could come and go anytime he wished. But for the remaining Transcendents sent down here, they weren't as lucky.

The only way out of this hell is to become a lord, which is also something Draco and Alexander were close to.

But, just how important was a divine pardon? And what would the regular audience do to gain one?
