Chapter 192 - Fire Axolotl
Chapter 192 - Fire Axolotl
Ban weighed the Gold Coins and estimated that the amount should really be around five thousand Gold Coins.
He tied it to his waist before requesting for Rendal to hand him over a clean paper so that he could draw something.
Rendal was puzzled by it but he nevertheless went and took some spare papers for him to use. He has a lot of them anyways as he also used them to draw blueprints for the weapons or items that he will forge.
Receiving the paper and pen, Ban no longer wasted any time as he started drawing something on the paper.
His hands moved dexterously as the object he was drawing slowly pieced together.
"A basin?" Rendal frowned upon seeing the content of the drawing.
Ban ignored him and continued to draw on the paper. The solution was already provided by the System and the Book of Techniques. He inherited the knowledge regarding it along with the skills that were necessary for the solutions such as drawing the blueprint of the basin.
After half an hour, the blueprint was finally completed. It might not be complex at first glance but upon closer look, one could tell that it was not something that can be made easily.
After that, Ban also listed the forging method as well as the materials that needed to be used for the basin.
Fortunately, Rendal has many spare materials and even if one material was not available, Ban also knew the various replacements for them.
After seeing the completed blueprint, Rendal was no longer as apprehensive as before. At least, the way Ban drew the blueprint and his way of executing the strokes was not something that can be made by some random fraud.
An hour later, Rendal started forging the basin according to the blueprint provided by Ban.
The basin was huge, it could even fit five persons inside of it and still has a space for maneuvers.
An hour later, the basin was finally finished and it now only needs the finishing touches.
The simple basin now looked like a mini habitat. It has a huge crater on the side and a mini volcano on the other side. It was made using various materials with high resistance and it will function as if it was a true and natural habitat for fire type monsters and beasts.
Seeing the product, Rendal could still not believe that it would result in something like this.
He really thought that it was only a simple basin at first but after the various pieces were pieces together it suddenly became like this.
'This… Did I really create something like this? How beautiful…'
"Quick, get the melted ores now and pour it on this crater to create the lava lake."
Rendal's imagination was suddenly shattered by Ban's shout.
"Yes, Master Leon…" Rendal said respectfully.
He immediately took the bucket that was full of melted ores before pouring it on the crater that was on the other side opposite of the mini volcano.
The moment the last bit of melted ore was poured on the crater, a magical scene suddenly occurred that shocked Rendal even more.
"This… a fully functional Fire habitat?"
As if it was activated, the whole basin or the habitat suddenly shook a little before orange lava started coming out of the volcano. On a closer look, those lava seemed to be the melted ores that Rendal poured earlier on the other side of the basin.
"With that, it should be enough to satisfy the desire of your Fire Axolotl. You already have the complete steps on how to make that melted ores including the ratio, when the time comes that the temperature of the mini habitat begins to lower, you can just brew another melted ores and pour them on the lava lake."
"Now, let's bring this over to your Fire Axolotl and let it decide whether our transaction will be completed or not."
Rendal nodded his head after hearing that. Although he was still doubtful if this could really cure his Monster, he at least knew that Master Leon's capability in forging was not any less than his, if not better. After all, to come up with the blueprint of a fully functional habitat like that, one should at least be at the level of grandmaster in forging.
Just like Rank levels, various professions are also divided by ranks according to their capabilities.
From weakest to strongest it was as follows, Apprentice, Adept, Master, Grandmaster, and lastly the Saint Rank that only existed on the legends.
The ranks of the professions are not determined by the combat strength but instead, it was determined on what level of item they can handle or create.
As a Master Rank forger or blacksmith, Rendal who can forge upto D-Master Rank and C-Grandmaster Rank items was already one of the best if not the number one Backsmith in the city.
However, even with that capability, he still did not dare to boast that he will be able to create something like the Mini Habitat that he just forged earlier. And by creating, it doesn't only involve forging, it was more complex than that. Such as choosing the right materials, the perfect blueprint and other various factors that can lead to failure if not taken care of properly.
Earlier, he was only forging, the temperature control, the number of times the metal should be hit, the intervals and other procedures was already listed beforehand, making his job easier.
And to his estimation, the finished product should be a D-Master Rank item. What was scary about it was that the items they used were only E-Elite Rank and below.
Rendal no longer thought about it anymore. With his current skills, he could only dream of achieving such results. However, he was confident that one day, he would be able to reach such height.
Rendal, Joana, Ban and Eva carried the heavy Mini Habitat towards the location of the Fire Axolotl together.
They carefully carried it over, afraid that the melted ores might spill on them.
After a few minutes, they finally placed it on the corner of the room where the Fire Axolotl was in.
And the moment they placed it on the floor, the Fire Axolotl in the distance immediately sensed it.
It's eyes lit up as it immediately went over with hasty steps towards the attractive Mini Habitat that was specially made for it.
