Although book 1 and book 2 are good, book 3 is lacluster plot wise.. author basically hit reset and MC was neutered into being nothing more than helpless little baby. Definately worth the read for book 1 & 2, wont recommend book 3 though. Author went too heavy with his scalpel and basically neutered his story/mc. There is room for turnaround but its been a dull read and buildup is slow if non existent

I'm up to ch 220 now, and I'm loving it. It is easily better than other LitRPGs I've read, save perhaps "The Land" by Aleron Kong. That is a an absolutely fantastic story, but the MC in that is rather hotheaded and immature, sort of like the western equivalent to the MC of "Martial God Asura". The MC of Monroe, Bob, I think is much better.We have sort of a functioning autistic MC, Bob who is devoted to his cat, but gets blown into a parallel dimension. In it, levels, paths (classes), and such exist as well as an adventuring profession, a monarchy and nobles and that sort of thing. The routine monster tides kill people in the villages and towns kill people all the time, and noone dies of old age in that world.Bob starts with nothing, not even the language. In this book we witness how Bob pursues dungeon delving in an effort to get to his cat before he starves to death, Spoilerand then later how he helps the Earth.. This is a slower paced book with not much time skipping. It is a slice of life with great characters and a dose of adventure. There is no harem, no romance, and the MC is pretty asexual. I don't know if there will ever be any, there have been signs of Bob becoming a bit more open and trusting of others. We'll have to wait and see.I enjoy the cat POV once in a while, as well as the short POV bits of other characters once in a while. The only downside is the overuse of Monroe the cat's "feline overlord" and such forms of address for him. Even the biggest cat person doesn't use the same gags over and over.I've read to this point so single-mindedly I've a headache and my eyes feel like they're bulging out. If you're wondering whether or not to read this, you might want to consider your health first.

Its way more in-depth with skills and how they work. Novel is pretty boring overall. Here are my thoughts. Stop making the MC act in weird ways cause that's just embarrassing. Cut down on the repetitive stuff such as dungeon delving time, and tavern(breakfast, lunch, dinner) time, cause that's just filler. Stop with this reincarnation BS, cause it's a stupid cheat and another way to just drag out this novel. A introvert saving millions of people is a bunch of BS. Plus the idea of getting earth involve with the so call "system" doesn't make any sense or does it interest me. MC is a very indecisive person which gets annoying over time. So the mean reason why MC isn't attracted to the opposite sex is because his mother is a whore, which is a bunch of BS and a lame excuse. Too many complaints so I'll just leave at this.

If you are gonna complain about the pov changes know that the mc is delving 16 hrs a day in a dungeon at those moments so what the f#ck do you want to read? The multiple POVs arent even that bad especially when i discovered that they are properly sectioned in Royalroad so i advice to read it there. World building is great, plot is great, characters are great especially the MC i love how the author made a character like that as the MC. I got nothing bad to say really, since the multiple POVs doesnt bother me and it actually gives more depth to the story imo. I don't know why this novel has such a high rating. I find it damn boring and "weird" in a bad way. The offworlders carry too many vibes of modern western mother hens who would like to have good things for everyone. The hero is suspicious, but reveals an important secret right away. The hero is a f#cking researcher by trade, but can't use the powers given by the system. It doesn't even check all options. All thoughts are like zombie cravings, but instead of "Brains..." he repeats "Monroe..." So, he has a cat. We don't know much about this cat other than that he's clingy. The hero finds himself in another world and all his thoughts are about one thing - my cat can die of hunger. I'll skip the incompetent people at the particle accelerator. The hero has no mental maturity. This is f#cking weird, guys. I read up to chapter 23. Events move so slowly that it's tedious to read. Mind you, I enjoy reading "Beware of Chicken", but not this story. I tried to ignore the logic flaws, but... this story is too boring. MC is stupid. There is no conflict other than "I have to get my cat back... I have to... My cat... My cat... Even if it costs me my life, I will summon a cat from Earth to a world with a system! My cat... Monroe... Brains... oh, I meant Monroe..."

the author's or the mc's obsession with monroe the cat is kind of too much for me, i dropped this at ch 24, the mc isn't the best out there for sure, kind of too whiny and pathetic? maybe cuz it's still the start of the novel but i didn't see any improvements so far, and boy o boy he is kinda dumb, if it weren't for the friendly people( or called plot armor ) he would've gotten killed or kidnapped many times over. in any case this is just my opinion and how i saw things so far, try it for yourself and decide.

I read this before, it's actually quite decent (though the protagonist is naive, and the author seems to be lazy when writing dialogues). The protagonist recreates other weapons that used gunpowder in this fantasy world and tries to form an industrial society because in their noble territory it's just a title - they don't own a fiefdom. It's like 'Release That Witch,' because here the theocracy really holds so much authority that even that duke or king can be labeled as a heretic if they want, so they also persecute wizards and other races.The story still revolves around the kingdom where the world is really big and full of different races. Give it a try if you like a kingdom-building romance, where the protagonist is using modern knowledge as an advantage. I don't remember it having a system, but I think his 'golden finger' is more like a lineage.Rank B-Obs: It's extremely tiring to read at more than 600chps

Not bad so far. At about chapter 50 and nothing really stands out as bad. Some explanations are a little off in how they read but not to the point of being confusing or hard to read. The other people in this section are a bit harsh in their reviews as the only time any of the heroines or the hero are mentioned is in the first few chapters but so far they haven’t been mentioned again so I am curious as to what their interactions with the MC would be like. 6-7/10. Above average as far as online novels go and could definitely be good (8-9/10) depending on how it goes in future chapters.

This novel has a good premise and an interesting start, although its a slow start. Once you get to cp 10 or so it picks up. The translation for the first 50ish chapters is good not too many complaints but it soon takes a turn for the worse when it changes editors/translators, somehow the translation gets even worse around cp 65-70 to the point I dont feel like reading anymore. Maybe it gets after but I have no interest to go further for now.
I have been reading it to 159, around 85 or 90ish chapter the quality picks up again and its quite decent. Even MC by that point already starts to have a good progression and wont be a self loathing wimp. There is still the issue where around 70-100 chapter the novel has been picked up by alot of translators so there is some inconsistency with naming during those chapters but after that so far its been good.

This is a harry potter fanfic (not a very good one): Author just make minor changes so he wont get copyrighted when he try earning money with this. I'd not go in detail about this since you'd start seeing the parallel in the academy house structure, principle, teachers, sujects, golden trio etc.Author write characters in just one dimension, sometimes they dont even have a real personality of their own and most 'teachers' speak and act in similar manner except for a different name. Anything said/done by one character can change to another if you just change the name with a few minor adjustment.Also, the misunderstading are soo stupid you'd think people are getting 'confunded' instead of real humans with brain. Young masters from cultivaion novels makes more sense than misunderstaing here.
I think the misunderstandings are funny though. Its stupid because our perspective is different from the perspective of the characters in the story. For example, nobles, priests and commoners have that huge impression that Wardanaz- MC's family are either literally or figuratively monsters. They're strong. So when they see an odd guy from that same family, who sctually acts like a guy from his past life, the misunderstandings gets worse. The misunderstanding here is the actual comedy. And Ive read that the future characters to be introduced will also have their own crazy misunderstanding with the MC like Spoilerone noble, a duke, misunderstands Yihan to be a threat aiming for politics(?) and a professor who thought Yihan will be the successor of the Principal so he is scared of our MC and treats him well, and many more misunderstandings with different characters Again, the misunderstandings is part of the actual comedy here.Honestly, the vibe is relaxing. Readers wont stress how the MC will survive, and just have a good laugh.
I can respect the spirit of the story but not the execution. I get what author trynna do but his writing makes it hard for me to continue.

Dropped it. Pretty mid, author made mc too op so it got boring. The original elements he added in weren't to my taste so...meh. Also, the boruto storyline is very important in this novel, you have been warned in case you think this is only a naruto story.
Dropped at chapter 90. I like that the author tried to go in-depth in terms of explanation of different things like jutsus etc.Even if something is just his imagination that is opposite to the original work, I still find it fine.BUT. It feels bland and maybe even pointless. At least for me. The reason is simple. MC is OP. Right from the start. And when I read some explanation for some skill or anything else, I can't find the reason to read it except just name of said skill because I know MC will get all the skills and will "cleverly" use them. I don't have a complete evaluation yet, but I've read at least 50 chapters and from what I've seen so far, the novel is very good. The protagonist is cunning and intelligent, extremely manipulative and certainly not a good person, but he's not a bad person either, he just does what needs to be done. The energy system is pretty easy to understand, nothing too innovative, the world building is going well so far and the characters have personality and aren't just cardboard cutouts. I rate this novel with a potential B or B+. I'll read a few more chapters and then make a more comprehensive assessment.
This story is very 4 star. It isn’t going to blow you away with how creative or deep it is, but it is generally original enough for a story from RR. The old man MC is OP enough to get away with doing what he wants, which is just different from the usual most of the time to be interesting. If you don’t like the whole OP MC concealing power and lurk in the shadows thing this might not be for you. He does show off, but never all the cards. It is a bit of a slow burn with most action not being super life threatening or edge of your seat given MC rarely goes all out.All in all you probably won’t lose braincells reading this.

It's not worth the effort nor time.In fact, the best novels are those that inspire true emotions. Harem novels are incapable of that. They are simply too unrealistic.Lately I've awoken to the real truth: no romance. Without romance, there is time available for real plot, pain, angst and more pain. That's where I've found the best novels I've ever read.I'd advise anyone not looking for "fast food" (if you will) to take a look at the website Archive of our own (AO3). It's a bastion of fanfiction and wayyy, way, way better organised than fanfiction.net ever could be.There are millions of high-quality fics over there. And, well, if you wish to read those, there are also millions of smut and harem/multi fics over there as well.

The story is too slow, 121 Ch but still at the academy. If the aouthor keep writing with this pace. I higly doubt he will finish the story. Not to mention it is just fanfiction. So if you dont like slow pace story, this is not for you my guy.
I dont understand why fanfic writers bother writing slow paced story. We all know they're not gonna write thousand chapters novel.
True facts, but at the same time, when everything is rushed it lacks substance. I wish the academy arc was skipped every time. At the same time, how long is an average arc? I wrote a fanfic with 180k words, (300k+ views) and wrote like 2 arcs and was wrapping up the third arc before I got super bored. Rushed stories lack character development. But hey, very few fanfictions can finish. For fun writers just lose hella motivation when getting smack talked all the time. When you get 400+ likes on a chapter, but the next is 200~ you just don't feel like writing anymore.
Every fanfic of naruto world disappointed me in one or two ways, some of them had a harem tag (which seems to me much more illogical than having a system in Naruto world), and some had overwhelmingly strong mc from the start which killed the joy of reading the story, or novel like "Naruto: The Strongest Kakashi" (Good in the start, average in the middle part and horrible development for the latest part). Here mc has his huge cheat but has to work hard to achieve something. He has an interaction with the main characters of the story but his influence on the whole story only increases statically. Till the latest chapter, it seems worthy to read and even to donate to the Author for his hard work.

Too much talking non sense. I quit after first chapter.
Mc's class will pit him against others so he has to tread carefully.Side characters are well written.Mc doesn't go on a killing spree and he rarely kills(humans).Tries to help people if he can(Prioritises himself and his family).No one gets op right from the start.Fights depend on using your skills cleverly.The story is continuously tensed. Mc isn't given time cuz 3-4 plots occur at the same interval.
