Chapter 243: Divine Judgement Cannon

"I can supply the plants for you in exchange for valuable items," Seth said.

"Okay, but you are mine. Besides, we are preparing to leave this land and I can't go without you!" Black Tamer said.

"Good, the moon is bright today. We can sail on it!"

The young girl that welcomed Seth said. She quickly began waving her hand and then a miniature canoe appeared which began to expand until it became a large ship.

The ship floated on air and the people began to load their stuff in it.

"We can sail to your home and wait for you to prepare!" Black Tamer said.

"What about dragons, won't they attack!" Seth asked.

"We have cloaking ability!" She said.

Seth walked to the ship and looked around, the Black Tamer still maintained her vigilant distance.

"We have a way to leave the land without the need to follow the Dream Fortune path!" She added.

"You do know I'm a Lord and even in death I can't be your servant!" Seth said.

"I know. You are the lord of your land. But when this Gawee Land awakens, even your home will be destroyed!" She retorted

"Haha," Seth chuckled at her ignorance before he looked up at the sky. Something large was coming down very fast.

"Captain Black, an unknown object was falling toward us!" One of the crewmates shouted

"It's a strange dragon, an adult dragon!" Another crewmate shouted when they felt a heavy pressure belonging to a dragon descending on them.

That when a blast of dragons aura shot toward them, the people's faces pale in despair.

"Quick, Strongarm, we need your shield!" Captain Black, she was Black Tamer ordered but the moment she took a step, her leg became weak and the ground shook.

she quickly looked down. The ground sound and its tremor were seeping away her strength and she was feeling drowsy before an indescribable fear gripped her when she looked up toward Seth.

The man was just standing as if nothing was happening. He took a step toward her. She opened her mouth to say something but the sound didn't reach anyone's ears.

Her attire sparkled with black fire, she was ready to fight despite trying to start away from Seth. And then she heard him say th3 dreaded phrase, "Mantle of Slavery!"

Deep down, she was relieved she didn't reveal her true self, or else this skill will be aimed at her but the next moment her eyes widened in shock.

On the ship, there was a woman, among the NPC, she seemed to be a commoner with no special quality but now a chain that was a bit rusty but thicker and more resilient than before sprang from the ship and aimed at her.

Her body vibrated and the woman's eyes became white for a moment but then the chain changed target to the nearest person.

The Black Tamer disguised as the commoner NPC switched to someone else to avoid the chain, however, the chain followed her.

The person she was now impersonating was fast and so he dashed away; however, the chain grabbed his leg and violently pulled him down to the ground.

At the same time, the giant red object falling was very close. It was a large circular boulder, 5m in diameter, soaked in deep dragon blood. The oppressive aura emanating from it was choking the humans and their pets.

Suddenly, everything slowed down. Seth's perception blurred away and when things came back to normal there was no one around and the large boulder falling was floating just above the ground.

"They escaped!" Seth muttered, "Aided by a very Strong Temporal Warrior!"

He turned to walk back when an energy blast came toward him. Seth quickly tapped his pocket and a glass shield appeared and expanded to protect him while also redirecting yellow energy back at the attacker.

The attacker moved fast and avoided the attack and appeared behind Seth and slashed with his large sword. Another blast of sword energy was sent to Seth from the sword.

"River…!" Seth muttered but then his body trembled in sheer terror. The flood of the river came from elsewhere and enveloped him, protecting him from sword energy.

But Seth wasn't able to retaliate due to what he was feeling. The red river was heavy to him and that broke his Grade suppression and by force, he became Grade 5.

Now that he was a higher grade than before, his senses were stronger and he perceived better. Now he felt the river as dense pure energy that could crush him.

It was on the calibre of adult dragon blood in terms of potency. His [High Intelligence] quickly got him his answer. This was Retina Twin Essence, coming from her own body. That meant Retina was inside the Red River Stone.

The fact he can manipulate it showed that Retina has allowed it and assisted him numerous times. 'She did that to make sure I didn't die until I found a place to settle her stone.' Seth thought.

But he can feel the Red Liquid dissipating due to the attack from the large sword wielded. "Damn it. This is a treasure, why am I miss using it!"

Seth immediately brought out his Red Signature Stone and controlled the red liquid and seeped it into the Red Signature stone.

"I need to store a lot of it before I find her a place to hide. Wait? If it's this thick, why does it dissipate very fast?"

Keeping that off his mind, he grasped one drop, it contained more energy than Vela, his speed dragon.

Immediately, using Hourglass Influence flowing skill to speed up the storage, Seth became wide open before the large sword user.

"You are no use to Captain if you didn't join her team!"

"Dragon Wave Slash!"

The man was fast, faster than Seth while using Vela Aspecto, which was why Seth wasn't moving around much. But still, Seth was fast enough to defend himself.

The attack coming his way was powerful, it was a vertical slash that can even kill a weak dragon that has less defence like Vela. Seth quickly looked at the red drop and focused on it.

"Red manipulation.!"

"Gratitude toward Retina. Great Barrier!"

The drop vibrated before it expanded and a thin red barrier enveloped him. Even with a 500% Grade 5 advantage, Seth barely managed to control the drop. He even accomplished this largely because he called out his skill name and also praised Retina Twin.

The dragon wave slash slammed at the barrier like a hammer against steel. The initial impact, the barrier didn't budge at all but the residue threatened to tear it down.

Under his control, Seth can feel the red liquid beginning to dissipate as usual. He held on to it well and even concentrated on his Stone Will and mental fortitude to keep it effective.

But the man attacking him was shocked to see his strongest attack nullified with ease like that. And he was no idiot, he has not lived in Gawee this long to not understand the danger.

Not to mention, he can feel the pressure emanating from the man before him.

"Dragon Roar!"

The large sword user heard the man in the green cloak mutter, thank he has speed ability and he moved away from direct attack but the shock wave of the dragon roar destroyed his drums and cracked his leg bones.

The moving fast tried to activate his Escape Skill but he found himself in a solid ref barrier and all his abilities were sealed.

"Ready for Divine Judgment Skill" Captain Black shouted. Her people were blanched with fear at what was happening. The prey their master captured was a monster in human skin.

Not only can he summon a giant round boulder that can smash their Devine Ship but it has the oppressive power of an adult dragon as if soaked in ten dragon bloods.

He also can summon sound and tremors that make their body weak and bring a hidden fear in them.

That wasn't the worst but even their Temporal Warrior was forced to use a week's worth of Temporal Power to freeze him in time for them to escape and in that moment if they had attacked him the boulder would have destroyed their Sacred Treasure, the Divine Ship.

And now they felt their Strongest Melee Striker used his strongest ability but what came after was a powerful dragon roar that made even those 400 meters away quiver in fear. some weak will have already fainted.

"Without knowing his true ability we must not face him. Now, everyone, concentrate your power and feed the cannon." Captain Black barked orders.

The skill of the ship is called Divine Judgement, which can be fired by the ship cannon but unlike other cannons that shoot straight, this one attack can materialise above the intended target.

The downside was it needed to feed energy from a multitude of people.

"Tell me where the rest go?" Seth asked kindly, he was struggling, not because the guy was trying to escape but to prevent the red liquid from dissipating from his control.

"I would rather die!" He said.

"You know, she was an annoying tamer. But I don't care about her, I'm kinda a scholar you know. I will enjoy studying you in detail. What is your name?"

Suddenly, Seth felt danger and he looked up, just 2 meters above him, a bright blue energy was coalescing very fast and under his feet was a circle and inscriptions that made Seth unable to move.

That also broke his red control and the man came out and cast a skill that made him vanish immediately.

"Red river!"

Usually, he can only do that once a day but he knew Retina Twin can see and a

Seth heard her complain but his wish was granted. Layers of thin discs cover his head while also covering his whole body. Before a thick red spear enveloped him.

Well, he has been neglecting the shield and forgot to standardize it.

Seth lamented his stupidity of not completing the damn shield but then he realized something.

"Maybe it's for the better, now I have divine energy charging above me. I can incorporate it in the Other Energy Units''

Seth smiled as he brought M-y Core and began to feed the shield while also making his other hand warm and touching the shield.

All that happened very fast while he had Vela Asoecto at full power. So, he finished all that preparation just in time before the cannon fired.

There was no sound but the blast was as fast as a dragon breath and as powerful.

The worms with transparent wings in the dried forest were already flying away and the ground that wasn't under Seth's shields was scorching away.

Retina's shield held on but that was thanks to Retina actively helping out in secret and the moment she knew what remained of the blast can be contained by the glass shield she stopped aiding and the whole red vanished.

The remnant slammed the glass shield and it cracked before it held on.

This happened fleetingly fast and the shield cracks amends and took in the nectar.

While Seth was using Temra Aspecto to make his right-hand cold and left hand hot—that way he can fill the Cold and Hot requirements fast.

Temra Aspect worked in a way that transferred heat from one location to another. If Seth wants to heat an iron then he needs something to move the cold in it.

The M-y Core was also filling his part but then Seth found his leg numbed and he looked down. The grown was burning with white-blue flames and his legs were already engulfed by it.

"Shit!' Seth cursed and he floated up but the flame was still on him. He poured his aura down trying to extinguish it but it only increased it. He quickly pulled out the red liquid and wrapped his legs, which turned off the flames but his leg to his knee was numbed.

The white-blue flame on the ground was increasing and rising to lick him. It has no heat and it's not emitting any light. There was no pain as it burned him.

There was also no notification from the system as if it was forced to be silent.

"Divine!" Seth acknowledged another dangerous term in the game. "Pulse!" A pressure slammed the ground and it caved inside.

That extinguished the flames but they flared again. However, they were not close to him now. His legs were also coming back to normal in terms of sensitivity.

Relaxing a bit he realized the Unique Energy Units were filled and the Other Energy Units and Heat Cold Units remained.

The cannon had already vanished but what Seth was facing was residue. The surroundings, beyond the glass shield, were covered in flames eating away the ground.

Seth patiently floated with his hand alternating from cold to hot to make sure there would be no lasting injury. Sometimes he took breaks to recover.

At 98,979 OEU, the fire was dimmer and wasn't enough to feed the shield. But he still can't leave because the outside was still not ideal.

"I believe some might have suffocated by now but because I have pristine lungs I can survive just fine!"

"Oh, my book!" Seth looked for it and it appeared from his cloak. He was amazed to see that it recorded most of the important parts that happened.

"It looks like things under my cloak are like they are in my pockets, they can't be seen or interrupted when active!" Seth commented.

The book scribes his activities and then the Water Circle that rotated water inside. It still has Hourglass Seed Influence Flowing Skill connected but sadly he didn't comprehend a thing about water yet.

Seth stayed there until the sun came up and went down and came up and went down. It was boring but he was preoccupied with trying to learn how to best manipulate the Red Liquid. Not only that, he kept summoning the river and storing it in his Red Stone Storage.

Not only that, he wanted to understand why the red liquid dissipates faster into the atmosphere. He also was recharging the glass shielded using his temperature control.

On the fourth day, the fire from the Divine attack was fully extinguished and the land was now safe to traverse.

The journey back was eventful. He was attacked by many Gawee Monsters and Abhorrent monsters. Not only that, the dragon kept coming and he kept hiding from it.

The level 2 Curse of Hourglass Seed seemed to be very potent but because of his Luck, all that became a boon to him. He now has four Gawee Monster Cores that was different from the ones he had before, and he has many exp orbs.

He also found a way to stop a drop of the red liquid from disappearing. And that was to keep it flowing using Hourglass Seed Influence Flowing.

With that, he had a firm grip on it but it also showed him how powerful it was and the forces trying to consume it.

"So, it was Gawee!"

Retine Twin said with a sigh. Seth had understood that Red liquid was actually part of her and her powers.

It was also a strange form of energy in a matter state. That also means Seth has her destiny in his hand. If he decides to drop the Red River Stone in Living Roots, the poor Retina will do nothing but serve and be bound to the forest.

He can also throw it in Gawee and escape, the Gawee Land may tear her apart and consume her. She might escape but unlike Seth and other life forms, she will be weakened and get incapacitated.
