Chapter 208: Hourglass Team

Chapter 208: Hourglass Team

He didn't wait for them to approve. He ran, took away the boulder and dug deep then brought out a vial from it.

"I found it!" He shouted happily. All their calculation, their findings and deduction were for nothing as the number was there for the taking.

Clap!

Clap!

Clap!

"Well done!" Seth stood as he stared at Zero. The boy was very happy while others had complicated emotions.

"Haha, I like this game. It's very refreshing!" The woman said as she opened her face. She was a beautiful woman, with sky-blue hair that seemed to glow under the sun. Her eyes were azure blue that seemed deep as an ocean. Adding to that, she was shrouded in a dignified aura.

"Madam Rain, so it was you!" Zambia said warily. "Yes!" She answered with a nod and then looked at Seth who was looking at Zero with an amused smile.

The boy was about to move when Seth said, "I captured you all!" His voice was deep and contained foreboding feelings.

Seth seriously strolled toward Zero and the boy became more terrified.

"You move, other traps will go off!" He added. Find more to read at m_v l|-NovelFire

"What is the meaning of this!" Sapna said icily, "Do you know who we are?"

Seth looked at her with a morbid face and his body emitted heat. The canyon shook, its sanctuary inscriptions began to revive and then the place was cut off from Gawee making it have less pressure.

Sapna's aggressive intention went back to worry.

"Ah, I'm joking! But I mean it, they may blow up if he moves from his place. Let me remove them." Seth said calmly. Nevertheless, he was surprised by the canyon change and he observed it. He brought out the Script Marker, just now he used Temra Apecto temperature control to intimidate Sapna but the device and the canyon reacted.

He squirted down and pushed the needle part of the Script Marker into the ground. More inscriptions became vivid and they absorbed the heat in the air due to daylight.

[Congratulations, you have awakened Temra Sanctuary]

[Script Marker: Level: 0>1]

He made the available red liquid sink into the rest of the traps and began to contain them.

"It was a failed safe, in case someone came and I found it before we were here." He said casually.

Everyone stayed in his place watching till he finished and then the hybrid dragon, Zero, moved and nothing happened, they sighed in relief.

James snatched the vial from the boy with no word of thanks and he beamed as he read the description. He became so happy that the hardship seemed like nothing to him.

"You shall pay me for finding it. Besides, you didn't pass the trial. I did. Right, Seth!"

Seth nodded and said, "Well, it was a group trial and he needs to thank or pay his helpers!"

"What is it?" Fist asked James

"Are you not busy preparing for your trial!" James said and the whole group were startled when they remembered that. Eyes went directly to Seth who was having a harmless smile. But to them, he was like a monster looking at them.

"Haha, you are great. Did the chief teach you this?" Ash laughed to disperse the gloomy atmosphere.

"Sort of. Those people in the Dark Void Sanctuary knew how to frighten their guests. Fucking bovine!" Seth remarked.

"Everyone I met hates the bovine!" Sapna indicated she had been there too. Soon a conversation erupted about the dangers of Sanctuaries and how players managed to survive. But in Dark Void Sanctuary even players that have a guide have faced the hateful bovine as an enemy.

"Surrender, I now own this sanctuary!" A thunderous voice announced from above. A group of seven players with brown attire appeared above.

They were not kids players but adults in brown uniforms. The leader has the face of a veteran soldier with killer eyes.

The two groups, Raindrop and Zambia, all frowned as they accessed the newcomers but then the newcomers burst into laughter and said, "I was just joking, I'm called Captain Brown, and I'm tasked with spreading the news of an escape plan."

That doesn't make the players in the canyon relaxed and Zambia spoke, "We already knew about that but we can share understanding!"

"Of course!" Captain Brown said as he fell down inside. Seth lost interest and went to James and asked, "Is it to your liking?"

"Yes, it is. Thank you very much. With this, I will worry less!" He said happily as he brought his weapon but that elicited a bad reaction from the other groups.

Asteroid Weapons have become a taboo when many strange players are around. And if it was already out, the players will always be vigilant.

"Not now!" Seth said even though he saw that people have become cool with it. He doesn't want to show them that he wasn't in an active step.

"Can we talk, please!" Sapna asked Seth. He nodded and they moved from the players. "I want something from Temra"

Seth stared at her without blinking, she sighed, "I want you to connect me with her. Do you know where she is!"

"You want me to set you a meeting?" Seth asked.

"Something like that but if you can help me get something from her, or if we can have…" she trailed off.

That confirmed his suspicions but he walked toward a hole that used to have a pool of water and commented, "If only this place can be filled with water, this sanctuary would be complete." He then looked at Sapna and her group.

"You expect the Raindrop team to use their water for good. Keep dreaming!" Juma said. Seth looked at them wondering what was between them but suddenly the Raindrop captain raised her head and hurried out and her team followed suit.

There was a massive red dragon, glaring at them. The Raindrop team splashed water after they were far and it became a pillar before they disappeared. The brown attire allows players to use a strange device to escape.

While that was happening, Seth ran to Fist and shouted about the vial, with no hesitation, he threw it. Seth ran out and dashed away using Vela Aspecto, Rudra was the one that used his stone ability to aid the group's escape.

They were the last and the moment they left was when fire descended on the canyon but the usual force field of sanctuary obstructed it, but it pressed and was about to explode but then the inscription inside the canyon increased in power.

Seth was terrified when he returned home because that dragon was the same one that attacked the Gawee monster he meddled with. He had assumed it was there for him, but thankfully that wasn't the case.

After calming down and finding it strange, his compass didn't seem to have reacted to the dragon's presence, why was that?

Nonetheless, he pulled out the vial and then commenced putting the bloodline essence in. He soon finished with great success while learning plenty of things. He then ran out and started preparing the next trial for Fist.

There was a great deal of satisfaction during the trial, and also when the vial was found, his quest progression would improve.

<Hey, Seth, we found that the dragon wasn't there to attack us. Can we meet at the canyon again to talk about Fist, ahm, bloodline>

A message was sent to sleeping Seth, he woke up, tired with a groan and he prepared and left for the canyon. Yesterday he surmised that if the dragon wanted them dead, then they would have been.

Reaching the place he was a little surprised, the place became more hidden until one came close and it now has a tangible glass-like force field that covered it.

When he entered, there was zero pressure and even the air was very clean. The morning sun above was also soothing to him. He glanced at the inscriptions that make that possible with Aura Sight and understood what happened.

The fire from the fire dragon fueled the inscriptions and made the sanctuary more powerful. Seth wondered why?

The most surprising thing was that there were more players, excluding the Zambia team, Raindrop and Brown Attire, there were 20 more players.

"Name and your main ability!" Seth was stopped by a guard in brown attire at the entrance, he was a giant with a broadsword.

"Who the hell are you?" Seth became irritated immediately. The guard was about to be more aggressive when his leader stopped him.

Seth passed them and went to Fist, "Are you ready for your trial?" A sly smile was carved on his face that made the group skip a heartbeat.

"Yes, he is!" Zambia shouted he was interested, but James, Zero, and Rena have a rueful smiles.

"You know, I will be busy studying bloodline. No hard feelings!" James said to Fist with a wicked smile. Yesterday Fist refused to help him from the beginning and he said, "He was busy trying to prepare for his trial!"

"Can we come, we will like to participate!" Sapna said. But Juma said, "No, it's private to Hourglass Team only!"
