Chapter 2455 Breaking Point

Chapter 2455 Breaking Point

Chapter 2455  Breaking Point

For as long as Emery could remember, Killgragah had been an indomitable force—an immovable wall of power, A guardian. A symbol of strength etched deep into his soul.

And now, he was gone.

His massive draconic form had dissipated into nothing but black smoke, scattered by the chaotic winds of this crumbling mirror world.

"Did Killgragah just… die? For me?!" Emery's voice trembled as he muttered the words, his wide eyes locked on the fading tendrils of smoke.

His chest heaved, each breath ragged and filled with a storm of disbelief and grief. This can't be real.

But the undeniable void left by Killgragah's absence crushed down on him like a mountain. A hollow ache spread through Emery's chest, followed by something else—a spark, an ember of something primal and furious.

With a roar, Emery launched himself at the skeletal dragon, his blade shimmering with faint light. But he had barely taken three steps when one of the dragon's colossal claws slammed down on him like a falling boulder.

BOOM!

The impact was brutal, sending shockwaves across the ruined ground and pinning Emery under its crushing weight.

Dust and debris clouded the air, and for a long, agonizing moment, everything was still.

To both the dracolich and the dark elf's astonishment, Emery's body shook, muscles straining, but he did not fall. Instead, his aura began to shift.

The primal beast within him had awoken, and this time, Emery did not resist it. "You're DEAD! DEAD!!" Emery howled, his voice no longer entirely human.

His form expanded, his muscles rippling with raw power as his body grew larger, towering over the battlefield. His once-human silhouette twisted into something monstrous—fur-covered arms, blade-like claws, and glowing amber eyes that burned with a predator's fury.

Though still only a fifth the size of the dracolich, Emery was no longer prey. With a surge of power, he pushed the dragon's claws aside and lunged forward, his massive frame slamming into the skeletal beast with such force that it staggered backward.

BAMMM!

The dracolich roared in defiance and unleashed a freezing breath of deathly mist. The icy storm swept over Emery's monstrous form, frost clinging to fur and bone. But he did not stop.

[Warning: You have broken the 50% integration limit]

His primal instincts took over, his jaws opening wide to inhale the freezing mist, devouring it as if it were nothing but air.

Tolaro stared in open disbelief. "It's... the Star-Devouring Beast! The intel was right all along!"

The Dark Elf Grand Magus watched with wide eyes as the primal beast tore through the dracolich's defenses, its colossal form crashing the skeletal dragon into the ground with sheer, unrelenting force. There was barely anything human left in Emery now—only the raw, savage urge to kill his prey.

HOOOWWWLLL!!!

The beast's deafening roar reverberated through the shattered ruins.

At that moment, a sharp, ear-splitting CRACK! echoed from above. The sky itself fractured like fragile glass, and the enormous black hole began to form—a swirling vortex of endless darkness. Its gravitational pull intensified, yanking debris, fractured stones, and even parts of floating towers into its crushing void.

But Emery didn't care.

His eyes remained locked onto the Dark Elf. His claws flexed, his fangs bared, and his form coiled like a predator ready to pounce.

The vortex's pull grew even more violent, yet Emery's primal form resisted it with an instinctual defiance. With an earth-shaking push, he lunged forward, emerald energy surging around him.

Tolaro sneered, his voice sharp with disbelief. "Dammit! Such a freak!"

Even though Tolaro's movements were hindered by the black hole's pull, he still managed to react swiftly. His hands weaved intricate runes in the air, summoning a barrage of Spatial Wheels—razor-thin, circular constructs of compressed space that spun at blinding speeds.

The wheels shot forward, each slicing into Emery's primal form. One gouged deep into his shoulder, another carved across his chest, and a third embedded itself into his thigh with a wet, sickening crunch.

But rather than slow him down, the attacks only infuriated the beast further. Emery's emerald aura flared with wild intensity, and his guttural growl vibrated through the air.

Tolaro's frustration grew. With a sharp motion, he conjured a Spatial Prison—a shimmering crystalline cube designed to immobilize and compress its target. It snapped shut around Emery, locking him within a cage of distorted space.

The translucent walls pressed in on the beast, energy crackling and warping around him, attempting to crush him into submission. For a moment, it seemed as though the prison would hold.

Then—

CRACK!

A fissure formed along one of the cube's walls.

CRACK! CRACK!

More fractures spread, webbing across the prison's surface.

And then—

SHATTER!!!

Tolaro's lips curled into a confident smirk as the massive dracolich descended from above, its skeletal maw open and claws outstretched, ready to intercept the raging beast. But the primal creature, with its feral instincts, shifted—as though it could bend space itself—and slipped past the dracolich's grasp with predatory precision, continuing its relentless charge toward the Dark Elf.

"Dammit!" Tolaro cursed under his breath.

His sharp instincts kicked in, and he propelled himself skyward, his dark robes whipping violently around him as he ascended. The force of the black hole's gravitational pull threatened to drag him in, but he would rather risk the pull than face the beast head-on.

But the primal Emery would not let him escape.

With an earth-shaking leap, the beast launched itself into the sky, eyes locked on its target.

"You mindless beast!" Tolaro spat, weaving erratically through the air, phasing through large chunks of flying rubble with spatial magic.

But no matter how swiftly he moved, the beast followed. It tore through debris as if it were paper. Tolaro unleashed more Spatial Wheels in an attempt to slow it down, each spinning disc of compressed space slicing through the air with deadly precision.

Emery's consciousness was entirely consumed by the beast now. There was no trace of humanity left in his glowing, predatory eyes. Only the hunger. Only the hunt.

You fool!" Tolaro's voice cracked with desperation. "You're going to get us both killed!"

He raised his arms, his fingers clawing at the air as spatial energy surged through his body. His hands twisted, forming multiple Spatial Wheels, but these were unlike any he had conjured before—they were surrounded by bone-chilling runes etched in pale light, their edges brimming with deathly energy.

Cross Spatial Rend.

Two massive spatial wheels formed a glowing cross in the air, cutting through reality itself as they hurtled toward the beast.

The primal Emery let out a thunderous roar, crossing his clawed arms in front of his chest in a desperate attempt to parry the incoming attack.

BAAMMM!!!

The force of the impact sent a shockwave rippling through the air. Blood sprayed in wide arcs as the devastating cross-shaped slash embedded deep into the beast's chest. The primal beast let out an ear-splitting, guttural howl of agony.

Weakened and critically wounded, Emery's body faltered, and the immense gravitational pull of the black hole finally took hold. His massive form began to drift upward, inexorably drawn toward the swirling void above.

Tolaro's eyes gleamed with triumph. Despite his exhaustion, he rushed forward, preparing to restrain and claim the beast as his trophy.

But then—

Glowing, ethereal Elysian Roots erupted violently from the beast's arms, snaking through the air with blinding speed. They coiled around Tolaro's limbs, his torso, and even his neck, locking him in place with an unyielding grip.

"What?! No!! Let me GO!" Tolaro screamed, his body convulsing as he struggled against the unbreakable roots.

Despite his fading consciousness, Emery—or rather, the primal beast within him—poured every ounce of his remaining strength into holding on to Tolaro. The roots tightened, glowing with an otherworldly light, refusing to let the Dark Elf escape.

The black hole's pull intensified, and both Emery and Tolaro were dragged upward, their forms growing smaller as they disappeared into the swirling abyss.

"NOOOOO!!!"

Tolaro's final scream echoed across the shattered sky, his voice fading into silence as the vortex swallowed them both.
