?

Rean and Roan thought about their options after that.

Suddenly, Sister Orb called their attention. [Oh, it seems like they arrived.]

"Who?"

[Karev and the others.]

Rean was surprised to hear that. He thought they would take way longer than that since the Detention Center was far from there.

"You deal with them. I will do something else," Roan said and left without saying anything.

Rean didn't mind. Right after, he went outside the Dimensional Realm. Sure enough, Karev was high up in the skies, seemingly puzzled.

Rean then left the range of his concealing formation, calling Karev through Spiritual Sense. 'Down here.'

Only then did Karev see Rean. He quickly came down, and the group entered the concealing formation again. Without saying anything, Rean waved his hand, and everyone disappeared, entering the Dimensional Realm. The Celestial Soul Dimensional Realm wasn't a secret anymore, so there was no point trying to hide it. It's just that Rean always said it was a normal Pocket Dimensional Realm.

Inside, Karev, Diliy, and Foliana were finally able to relax, especially Karev. He had been carrying everyone by himself until now, so he was quite tired. "Finally, it is over..."

Rean smiled at the group, then looked at Marev on the side. "Can I take a look at his condition?"

The guy was still unconscious. Karev knew he couldn't risk allowing his brother, Marev, to betray him because of the control of the Werdlem Empire. So, as soon as he rescued Marev, he put him to sleep. Marev's cultivation was sealed since he was in the Detention Center, so it wasn't hard to do.

"Yes," Karev quickly nodded. "Please check if he is also under the control of the Werdlem Empire."

Rean nodded. "Sister Orb, let's check him."

[Right away!]

Both of them used the same methods as they did with Diliy. After a few moments, Rean and Sister Orb indeed found the Werdlem Soul Worm inside. It's just that many of the runes of the worm seemed to be broken. From what Rean and Sister Orb could see, the worm still worked, but its effectiveness was highly reduced.

Rean and Sister Orb then worked together, and after a while, they managed to pull out the Soul Worm, throwing it together with the other Werdlem Soul Worm they took from Diliy's soul.

"Alright, it is done," Rean spoke. "The Werdlem Soul Worm was there, but it was damaged. Most likely, that was the reason for Marev to tell you the truth, Karev."

Karev shook his head, though. "I prefer to believe that his own will when he visited me all those years ago was the reason for the Werdlem Soul Worm to get damaged."

Rean pondered a bit and nodded. "Well, Roan and I saw something similar back in the Forging Hall. Back there, Gratlur, who was the Director of the Forging Hall, fought against the control of the Werdlem Soul Worm when it ordered to kill Zangeshu. I feel like very strong emotions can fight against this thing, and your brother's emotions for you could really have broken the Werdlem Soul Worm. It still worked, but it was nowhere near as good as it was when it was new."

Foliana wasn't surprised. "Well, something had to be wrong, right? Back when I saw Marev for the first time in the Detention Center, he was angry and cursing me and the Inquisition Hall nonstop. You could say that he had been fighting the Worm all this time. There wasn't a shred of loyalty to the Inquisition Hall in his eyes."

Diliy agreed. "I noticed that too. It was completely different from when I had the worm in my soul. In my mind, only the Inquisition Hall and the Werdlem Empire mattered. Everything else was of little concern. I would never curse either of them."

"Well, this is in the past now," Rean turned to Karev while speaking. "Sister Orb and I removed the Werdlem Soul Worm, but just like Diliy, his soul was also injured in the process. It was even worse than Diliy in the damage department since it seemed like his soul had been in distress for a very long time. When he wakes up, make sure to stop him from doing anything harsh. It would be best if I didn't need to have Sister Orb restrain him."

Karev nodded. "No problem."

"But before that..." Rean then turned to a young girl... no, she wasn't young anymore. She only looked young because of her high cultivation, which was in the Saint Realm. "Long time no see... I guess? Well, for me, it hasn't been even a decade yet. How have you been, Rosa?" In the end, the extra person Foliana and the others rescued was her.

Rosa is a member of the Gondel Clan, but above all, a friend from Klifon, the Sun Urpin Spirit. Back then, it was Rosa who introduced Klifon to Rean and Roan. They needed a Sun Urpin so Roan could make a cultivation technique for that race. After that, Rosa returned to the Gondel Clan, and the twins never met her again.

As for Klifon, he was actually connected to the Golden Crow, and both of them left this planet at the end of the Sunlight Realm.

Rosa bitterly smiled, looking at Rean. "It has been over four hundred years to me. I received the Spatial Ring you passed from Klifon. That's why I have done so well for myself since

then."

Rean was still confused. Back then, Rean and Roan used a different appearance and identity. Other than Klifon, who had already left this planet, no one should have known about their connection with Rosa. Rosa only found out that 'Tom and Jerry' were actually Rean and Roan after Rean delivered Klifon's Spatial Ring to her without anyone knowing. Unless Rosa said something herself, no one should have known about her connection with the twins' group.

Seeing Rean's puzzled expression, Rosa knew what he wanted to ask. "Don't worry. I ended up in the Detention Center, but not because of you or Roan. Instead, I got involved with the experts who have fake Werdlem Stones."
