Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Chapter 1533  Running Away at the First Sign of Trouble

Feeling a sudden shift in the presence that had remained stationary inside of the estate at the center of the city so far, Xuan Hao immediately understood that the one who had come to investigate him earlier had managed to figure out something about him not really being someone just in the Domain Lord Realm.

Although the other party might not be fully certain about his strength, identity or reason for coming to the Dragon Tooth Mountain City, it didn't really matter as it was clear that he was someone she couldn't handle in her own eyes, thus logically she had gone directly to the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator guarding the city with the information. Not risking her own life by confronting him on her own.

"At least she can use her head, but… It won't change anything…" Narrowing both of his eyes as he sensed the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator starting to act by both locking down the space around him from a distance while also starting to activate the formation to seal him inside of the city to prevent him from escaping, Xuan Hao knew that he couldn't waste any time-

Swish-!

And so, he directly used the Illusory Light Steps to escape from the city before the formation sealed him inside. The restriction caused by the other party's Dao of Space being pretty much negated by his own superior comprehension of the Dao of Space. Only really acting to prevent him from teleporting out of the city and using a more space focused movement technique like the Drifting Cloud Steps.

Whoosh~

Not even bothering to look back towards the city after he got out of range of the spatial lockdown preventing teleportation, he directly executed a long-distance teleportation technique to leave. Not giving the Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator in the city any chance to catch up to him, let alone find out who he was.

Even though part of him did want to try and fight with a Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator to test his strength after having broken through to the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, he wasn't planning on his first real fight with a Celestial Immortal Realm cultivator being against someone clearly skilled when it came to the Dao of Space and with a Saint Grade Formation backing them up.

Even among Celestial Immoral Realm cultivators, someone like that was bound to be far stronger than the run of the mill Early Stage Celestial Immortal Realm cultivators that he had encountered so far. Possibly rivaling those in the Middle Stage of the Celestial Immortal Realm, a realm that he had no plan of confronting with his current strength.

All things considered, he did manage to accomplish his goal for entering the city to some extent, as he had managed to recruit quite a few Soul Ascension Realm cultivators and more importantly a Dao Seed Realm cultivator for the sect.

[Main Sect Quest: First Steps towards Becoming a Major Power (I)] [Description: The sect has entered a state of rapid growth and is about to finally step onto the main stage of the Ewaria Continent. Help the sect reach the requirements to become a major power on the Ewaria Continent.] [Core Formation Realm Disciples: 3579/10.000] [Nascent Soul Realm Disciples: 22/100] [Domain Lord Realm Disciples: 5/10] [Soul Ascension Realm Elders: 15/100] [Dao Seed Realm Elders: 3/10] [Profound Immortal Realm Ancestor: 0/1] [Reward: World Stone (Immortal), Chaotic Qi Formation Upgrade, ???] [Note: Does not count host as part of the requirements] Looking through the overall progress of the main sect quest, it was looking far better compared to when he had first left the sect, as there were now quite a few Soul Ascension Realm Elders and an entire three Dao Seed Realm Elders now part of the sect.

However, he did notice something rather surprising that had happened in the short time since he had last looked through the progress of the main sect quest… And that was the fact that the number of Core Formation Realm Disciples in the sect had suddenly managed to jump by a little over two hundred in the span of a little over a week.

No matter how he looked at this, it was unnatural, but… Considering that it was something that had ended up benefiting the sect and Elder Song or Feng Chen had not contacted him, he guessed that it wasn't something bad. Instead, it should be an opportunity of some kind, something that had to do with a new unique training method for the younger generation created by Elder Song, or… His youngest disciple had something to do with it.

As his thoughts reached the final possible culprit, his youngest disciple, Mui, a feeling that she might be the one behind this sudden and unnatural growth of so many younger disciples began growing inside of him.

After all, outside of Elder Song, she was the one who interacted with the younger disciples the most out of any of his disciples. Not to mention, she had been up to something suspicious together with the innocent Song Jia when he had left the sect…

No use worrying about it, for now I should focus on finding a new location to recruit wandering cultivators before the Crimson Dragon Empire decides to increase their vigilance around other gathering locations of wandering cultivators like the Dragon Tooth Mountain.

Shaking his head as he thought about this to himself, Xuan Hao soon reemerged from space as he ended his long-distance teleportation far away from the Dragon Tooth Mountain City. Only looking around for a few seconds to figure out where he was in the Crimson Dragon Empire before starting to move in the direction of the next wandering cultivator gathering location inside of the Crimson Dragon Empire.

If the Crimson Dragon Empire really did end up taking his earlier appearance at the Dragon Tooth Mountain City far more serious and made it impossible for him to enter any of their other cities with powerful wandering cultivators present, he had already decided to head further inside the Eastern Central Region and go to some of the other major powers to search for strong wandering cultivators in their territories.

Even if this would be far more dangerous than continuing to look through the Crimson Dragon Empire that seemed to be the most peaceful of the major powers in the Eastern Central Region due to its close proximity to the Northern Central Region, he didn't plan to return to sect before he had managed to at least recruit one more Dao Seed Realm cultivator and a few more Soul Ascension Realm cultivators to become elders.

Fully intend on having these wandering cultivators recruited to join the sect act as the backbone for the sect's growth over the next few years where cultivators in the Soul Ascension Realm and Dao Seed Realm would be needed for the elders of the sect to smoothly proceed in their cultivation. Acting as teachers like what Pei Yang had done already.

After all, there was no way he himself or Pei Yang alone would be able to teach and help so many elders all on their own.

Doing so would only result in them neglecting their own cultivation.

Instead of that, it was far better to have more powerful cultivators around that could help the Star Shattering Sect's transition to become a power comparable to a major power on the continent.

Of course, to ensure that those stronger cultivators didn't end up turning into a problem for the sect, it was crucial to have some way to control them and keep them in place.

For now, that control would come through the chaotic qi formation and the information and cultivation resources that the sect could provide these wandering cultivators with.

Giving them a chance at a reaching a higher realm, as long as this hope was given to the wandering cultivator choosing to become part of the Star Shattering Sect, they wouldn't bother thinking too much about whether or not the sect was really a hidden ancient sect and would instead be focusing their attention on ways to earn contribution points that could be used for the information and cultivation resources they needed to reach a higher realm.

In a sense, it was this hope of reaching a higher realm that had allowed him to recruit so many Soul Ascension Realm cultivators and even two Dao Seed Realm cultivators without encountering any major problems along the way.

After all, to someone already close to the well-known peak of the continent, every one of them aspired to become someone truly at the top of the continent.

Soul Ascension Realm cultivators aspire to reach the Dao Seed Realm and Dao Seed Realm cultivators aspire to reach the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Having taken advantage of their lack of information regarding the Dao Seed Realm and realms above to some extent, he had managed to enhance the strength of the Star Shattering Sect rapidly in a relatively short span of time.

All that was needed now was for the elders of the sect in the Domain Lord Realm to catch up to these newly recruited elders and the sect should start reaching the requirements set by the system quest.

The only thing that still eluded him being how to get a Profound Immortal Realm cultivator…
