Not actually a system novel, the author drops it after he redeems his first set of points as far as I can tell (im on chap 168). Disappointing way of retconning.
It does have system elements in it but unlike other system novels that are system heavy this one is very chill about it. To me its a nice change for the usual systems

I’ll be honest first ~50 or so chapters are barely passable 3.5 star (70%) work. It’s awkward, has pacing issues, and quality is all over the place. Some early chapters make me want to throw a 1 or 2 star at them. Yet it does get better.Past ch50 and after the author’s rant it gets that little spark of magic and past ch100 it starts to open its wings and a does more of it’s own thing in interesting ways while the chapters get more substance. Almost all the awkward shit is worked out, the author gets their shit together, and the world building starts getting good. I’d definitely bump the quality up to 4 stars or even a bit more where I’m at at ch 200(I have caught up to 396, quality is still slowly rising). Past that we get introduced to a lot of new original content with some themes we will all find familiar but rarely applied to the HP world.It’s no legendary novel, but after MC gets to hogwarts and settles in it becomes evident why the novel is still alive and getting to ch400 soon, if it stayed as bad as it started or got worse it would have died long ago. If you get past the author’s noob starting phase it is a decent novel to pass the time.
I’m 130 chapters in and the mc has used his system twice. He has a system shop which he can use to buy pretty much anything he’d ever need not even exclusive to the HP world but he’s only used it once and it was to gamble. If u ignore that one glaring issue this is a pretty solid fanfic. I just wish the author at least put a limit on how much he can use the system as an excuse in the beginning instead of having him just not use it.
I’m all caught up and honestly I got over the issues I had with the first 100 chaps. The author does love drawing things out tho. Overall pretty solid hp fanfic

I would say so, I quite liked it. It's essentially the MC is placed into an Orphanage in the HP world with a "gacha" system that after used the first time, he got Celebrimbors memories on how to make powerful magical rings. He also has essentially the spirit of Celebrimbor guiding him inside his mindscape. It's pretty "slow" paced though with it being I believe second year still, but it is made up with there being I think 2 chapters a day. He also get's more methods on making items. The system eventually gave him another way to create items besides Celebrimbors style later on but it hasn't been too explored as far as I know.

I like antihero mc but this one is just...whats the word, edgy. Also author seems to based his book on other fanfic instead of cannon so the plot sounds very naive for people familar with the stroy, a few examples:SpoilerMC tricked a potion guild master with a kid juicebox dosed with veritaserum so that he'd spill his darkest secret infront of the whole diagon alley. MC was 5 year old!!!SpoilerMC invented a potion that can safely destroy soul in hocrux without destroying harming the object itself when he was in 1st grade. Something dumbledore failed to do.SpoilerMC goal in life is touture and kill every deatheater, especially Lestrange couple for harming his parents whom he met for a few days. I dont mean dont avenge them but the way he make his ultimate goal is weird seeing he is a transmigrator.

Honestly as someone who has read Harry Potter fanfics before. This is currently #2 for me with "HP A magical Journey" being #1.Second, idk which fool has said it's a xianxia, it's a normal transmigration into HP verse novel with some twists in space and time.Now something about the story. I'd gove it a solid 4/5 among HP fanfics, the pacing, plot everything is good. The novelwas thought and outlined in advance like a good novel except the final volume The whole journey is wonderful with some wondeful use of magic. The ending is kinda quick with not much words said about after the defeat of Voldemort. Just short timeskip and some badic explanations which does not clear everything. TLDR: give it a read HP Fans

First off pls ignore most comments below they are either wrong, biased or haven't read the book.It's a 3.7/5 book although it starts slow and clunky it is smoothed out along the way and becomes quite interesting. The story is good though the title of the book might be discouraging, I do not think the author would have been able to write a book as good as this if the author didn't use The Harry Potter world as the foundation for the story

I really have a hard time understanding the negative opinions regarding this. Sure there are some Chinese xianxia elements, but not to the extent that they overshadow the Harry Potter theme. I find the story rather engaging, with political and moral dialogue that you don’t normally find in a fanfic.In fact, people say it’s all negatives, a grim dark setting. But that’s just the realism of the politics, and self interest, that act as the background of the setting of this fanfic. Something that J.K. Rowling actually didn’t delve too deeply into because of the fact that it was primarily a young adult’s series. Most of the political content is even something that has clear connections with western history up to the current century.And as far as doing a Harry Potter story without Harry Potter; it’s like they never read any of Marvel’s What If comics that delved into alternate history if a key event had turned out differently.

From what I've read it seems like a typical xianxia, ??author is Chinese, so it was to be expected, he only spared himself from making names for characters. This has nothing to do with the HP universe, just the names and some canon events.
